This company was hired to care for my elderly grandmother who is with hospice, and my grandfather who suffers from dementia. The care provided was below sub par. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only are the aids that are sent to "help" in the home lazy, the owner lacks professionalism. Janette Sheehan has no ability to speak to people, or control her emotions. She left a threatening message on my mothers voicemail. She called the day of the blizzard and gave very little notice that no one would be going to the house for 36 hours to provide care due to the snow. Ultimately, Janette canceled the care contract, through the hospice agency, with less than 12 hours notice. She cannot take constructive criticism in regards to how her employees fall shot of what they are supposed to be doing for the people left in their care. If you are looking for "professional" home health care, keep looking.

My mother moved in with me after the sudden death of my father, she had been diagnosed with ALZ. We new her mental status was deteriorating but it wasnt till she was living with me that I realized just how bad she was. She could not be left alone and needed constant attention. I called ABC home health care and they were awesome! They explained my options, answered all my questions and found a wonderful aid to send to us two to three times a week, sometimes an overnight. This aid was my mothers new best friend! She always handled my mother with love and respect and was able to help her even when she didnt want any help! Our ABC Aid was with us for two years till we had to move mom to a memory unit! We would not have been able to keep my mother in my home for two years with out the amazing help and support of ABC Home Healthcare.

This is a great place to work. I love my job. There is nothing more fulfilling than making sure I do what I can to help make sure my clients live in their own home. It is all ways the little things that matter most., a smile, a gentle handle holding, scalp massage , can make a clients day. What ever reasons you may have for using our services let us cater to your elders ,let us know how we are doing.
