I am not usually one to write reviews, good or bad, but today marks 1 year since I got PRK with TLC so I felt inclined to share my story. I made it 3 days before the pain became pretty extreme for me, of course it was a Sunday and they said to expect the worst around that point. Monday when I went to my regular eye doctor he noticed some complications that were not there on Saturday, basically my eyes swelled and the contacts they placed were causing damage. I was immediately sent back to TLC where I was seen right away and given a whole slew of drops and antibiotics with the request to continue my follow up there. My entire post care with TLC lasted about 3-4 months! Yeah that was fun, but honestly this is a good review. Through every weekly visit the staff at TLC in Waltham became like family. They cared about me as well as what my eyes were doing, I even had Dr Browns cell number which I used frequently with all my questions. They say the initial recovery for PRK is about a week. This is true. I was only out of work for 1 week even with my complications. Yeah I had months of medications every 4 hours for months but PRK is still honestly the best decision I ever made and TLC took the time to work with me from the very beginning when I wanted Lasik. I could not do Lasik due to my astigmatisms but 1 of the doctors had PRK herself and eased all of my concerns with her story. How could I not trust staff who had also gotten their corrective surgery with DR V? Dr V is incredible and recommend him to everyone I know. I tell you my story so you can be prepared for the worst but know that it was all still worth every penny in the end. And know that the problems I had only increased the staffs ability to diagnose and treat any problems future patients may have.

I am really pleased with my decision to get lasik and use TLC. Doctor V and the whole staff do a phenomenal job preparing you for the procedure which only lasts 5 uncomfortable minutes (zero pain), followed by a few hours of tearing (all of which i slept through). It is amazing **that is all** it took to wake up with perfect eye sight. I am so pleased with the quality of my vision now, and the convenience of having it. The aftercare was far easier than I expected. It truly is a gift and I would absolutely do it again if I was deciding all over again.

I called this center because I had had laser surgery with another center 8 years ago and was beginning to experience some degeneration in vision in one eye. When I called my original doctor, I was informed that there would be a $199 reassessment fee. I thought this felt unfair since they were the original operators. I will not be having service through TLC but the time they spent on the phone with me explaining the service and advising me in what I could to with other centers was amazing. Thank you TLC Waltham for ethical and honest advice.

I had a Custom Lasik precedure done here last week, by Dr. ZVillazon and his staff. This was the best thing I have ever done. I was able to see clearly the minute I got up from the surgery table, even though my eyes were filled with eyes drops. The staff were all involved and caring. I felt safe and reassured. Dr. Villazon talked to me through out the whole procedure, which lasted for about 10 minutes. Best experiece I have ever had. I would reccomend TLC Waltham and Dr. Villazon to anyone who wants to have a life changing experience.

I got LASIK here, everyone was very nice and efficient. They took plenty of time to explain all their offerings. The actual day was easy, and once I was in the laser room over in less than 10 minutes. I had perfect vision with little to no complications almost imminently and couldnt be more pleased with how it went.
