The five stars are for the cleaning by Yulin and the x-rays and conversation with Peter. If I had to rate the actual dentists, Id give them pretty low marks. So, although I was not terribly impressed with the director and specialist with whom I consulted for orthodontic and periodontal work, I was extremely happy with the cleaning done by Yulin (sp?). She was phenomenal! I havent been to the dentist in years and I have severe gum recession. I figured the cleaning would hurt like hell. But somehow Yulin managed to do the cleaning without hurting me AT ALL. I was extremely relieved and seriously impressed by her skill. In addition to being skillful and considerate, she was also very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer my questions. Also, I give Peter (who did my x-rays) high marks for being so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. So all in all, although I was almost offended by the "higher ups"who blew me off once they realized that Im not currently in a position to fork over a few grand, it was still a pleasant experience. Since I recognize that its a business and the cheapy special they offer for cleanings is really just a tool for bringing in new clients wholl hopefully need additional dental work, I dont take their dismissive behavior too personally, but I think other less business-minded people might find their behavior offensive. Still, Id highly recommend Yulin for cleanings. Seriously, after putting it off for the last couple of years out of dread, I cant believe how completely painless it was.

I went to Gentle Dental about 4 times this year and with each visit I realized I disliked this Dr. Aurora more and more. She does not clarify the plan, is condescending, and actually recommends procedures that other dentists have shaken their heads in disbelief about. There is always a wait of about 20 minutes or more and she is never empathetic about it. Ive had work done by her and will actually need to have it redone by a different dentist. I had a root canal performed by her and not only was the "new tooth" a completely different color from the rest but also became dislodged within months. Did I mention her suggestion to fix the discrepancy between the "new tooth" and my current one - well she slyly offered me her teeth bleaching package instead of correcting her mistake ! Ive actually heard her recommend to a 30 year old women that she should get dentures. I would not recommend her or anyone in that facility to someone I would consider friend or family. In my opinion Gentle Dental is just another franchise that doesnt care about the patient. Your better going to off going elsewhere.

My experience at Gentle Dental, Worcester is worthy of recommending to my friends and family. Dr Aurora-Mohan has done 4 root canals over the past 6 years. Dr Goldberg did 2 implants / new teeth. Theyve shaped my expectations very well and the work is excellent. Both show a serious concern for pain management. Cheyenne and the other hygenists / assistancs work independently and quickly with cleanings. They offer advice and are very helpful. I started at Gentle Dental after another dentist did 2 root canals that proved to be a very poor experience. I went to Gentle Dental to fix those problems, and return for all other dental needs because of the quality of the work and the pleasent people. Their front office staff is efficient and helpful. Theyve worked with me on payment plans that meet everyones needs. Good to be understanding in Worcester these past few years. I doubt anyone wants to go to the dentist (especially me -- after a life of of Army dentists), but when I go to the dentist, I will always go to Dr Aurora-Mohan and the people at Gentle Dental, Worcester.

I am not a person who writes reviews but I felt compelled to do so this time. My smile needed some work due to cracking, chipping, discoloration and Dr. Tina Arora-Mohan provided me with a solid treatment plan. First, she suggested that I try the Zoom whitening procedure (relatively inexpensive compared to crowns, etc.) to see if I was satisfied with the results with that alone. Although this procedure significantly whitened my teeth and I was very happy about the results, some of my teeth had some preexisting structural deficiencies and I wanted to move forward with additional work to improve my smile. She did not pressure me at all and I really appreciated that as a patient. Due to my particular situation, it was determined that crowns would be best. She was able to do all of the work necessary to improve my smile over the summer so that I could start off the new school year (I am a teacher) with a new smile! Now that all of my work is done, I am a very happy and satisfied customer! Thank you for your attention to detail and your kind demeanor, Dr. Arora-Mohan!!

I havent been to the dentist in what feels like 3+ years (collective gasp!!). Knowing that I hate going to the dentist prompted me to be very nervous about initiating this arduous task. So after experiencing the telltale signs of the onset of teeth problems, I finally bit down (see what I did there) and went searching for a new dentist. While exploring the verse far and wide, I began to hear some great reviews about Gentle Dental. I finally decided that I couldnt wait any longer and would give this place a shot. I walked through the door on a 90 degree day with the SWASS meter at an all time high. The first thing i was greeted with was a cool blast of air gingerly accentuated by the pleasant aroma of mint tooth polish and the humming of a distant dental instrument. At the desk sat a very pleasant woman who welcomed me with a smile (and a clean white one at that). After telling her I was a new prospect, she quickly and efficiently whisked me through the paperwork process and even assisted me in finding my dental insurance.

I originally found very good reviews for Gentle Dental of Worcester. MA singing the praises of Dr. Tina Aurora online after I moved to this area and needed to find a new dentist - (Going to the dentist has never been my favorite thing - I hadnt been in a while, but I knew that I needed some work done.) Dr. Aurora and her staff have done extensive work with my teeth, replacing a bridge with an implant and 4 crowns, root canals, etc. I am extremely pleased with the results! - My smile has never looked better :) Additionally, the entire staff is indeed, gentle, and pleasant. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now, which I never thought would be possible! They have earned my highest recommendation!

Ive been going to Gentle Dental for orthodontic work, and my experience with them has been nothing but mishaps. I had painful spacers put in for a month to move my teeth apart, only for the doctor to tell me I didnt need them. He even questioned me on why I had them put in! My lip was burned by a sealing device and I had this ugly burn on it for a week. Im supposed to have an appointment every month to have the braces tightened, and its been four months because I just cant get an appointment. This place is just disorganized. I would go to a different orthodontist to finish the work, but I paid for everything upfront, so Im stuck. Dont make the same mistake I made and go someplace else.
