Despite moving out of Michigan at age 18 for college, to this day I ONLY go to Dr. Novice for my dermatological needs. I saw the other review gave him only one star, and I felt compelled to leave a review letting everyone know how positive my experience has been with Dr. Novice. Ive been going to him since I was 14 (10 years now), and he has always treated me successfully and efficiently. I used to suffer from acne growing up, and Dr. Novice is the only dermatologist to ever successfully keep it at bay. On top of that, his lab has always delivered timely results (thankfully all good news), and is always excited to explain in detail what his plan for treatment is. Cant recommend him enough!

Dr. Novice is terrible. Ive given him a chance several times but each time I leave disappointed. He refuses to spend more than 5 minutes at a time with you and only seems interested in you if you are there to spend lots of money. Every time I have been to his office, Ive been charged a different rate. Its obvious that Dr. Novice cares more about money than truly helping his patients. His office staff are rude-- likely because they work in a hostile environment. I do not recommend Dr. Novice.

Best dermatologist. After a horrible experience with a local doctor in Windsor - we crossed the border to see Dr. Novice. Professional and kind - he put our son at ease. Would recommend to all! Has a Canadian medical licence and is able to prescribe meds in Canada so our insurance covered it.

Pushy staff --- wants you to go for fillers, injectibles of any sort --- and if you decline youre given the cold shoulder. Waste of time.
