Ive been seeing Dr. Qamar for about 5 years now. I am self employed and have no insurance. Creekwoods yearly discount plan has helped me tremendously. I purchase the yearly discount plan when I have a bit of work to get done and get all the needed work done within the year. This is the second time Ive done this in the last 5 years and it has worked out excellent for me. Unfortunately, Ive struggled with nicotine addiction and have used nicotine lozenges which had destroyed my teeth over the years. I had major cavities, so large, I could stick my fingernail under my teeth at the gumline. I also had lost fillings and old crowns which were in very bad shape. Early on, I went against Dr. Qamars advice and had him pull a tooth which he recommended I get a root canal on. I tried to save money and listened to my mother rather than the dentist (mistake). The doctor gave me great advice but no high pressure stuff as he told me he was there for me and will support whichever decision I made. Needless to say, after a few months I very much regretted having that tooth pulled just as the doctor feared I would. It was very difficult to eat because of the importance of the tooth and its locatiion, the second molar from the back, caused the last molar to lean forward and cause major problems. I ended up needing to get a bridge which was much more expensive than the root canal I would have gotten if I had listened to Dr. Qamar. So, I purchased the yearly discount option and went to work with the doctor again. A few more fillings, root canals, and the major bridge later and my teeth are virtually perfect. Not only have I been extremely comfortable every second of sitting in the Doctors office, I can finally eat with comfort which is something Ive been unable to do for many many years. The doctor is fantastic, but its very much a team effort at this office. Everyone from the assistants right to the office receptionist, Anita, are extremely classy and have the patients best interest at heart, which is not the case with many dental offices, I assure you. I even must bring my 4 year old daughter sometimes and she loves the people at this office. They are so sweet and patient with her and even supply her a tablet to play tooth games when she gets bored. The doctor says Im all done for now. My teeth need no more work at this time, but I know where Ill be going when they do. Im extremely thankful for Doctor Qamar and all of the wonderful staff at Creekwood Dental.

Amy, the dental hygienist is very gentle, but thorough and at one point saved me from having to have oral surgery due to her spotting infection on an x-ray she took. Dr. Qamar has a gift of getting to know his patients and letting his patients know about him. This is important to me as it creates a trust factor and makes the patient feel comfortable. He was very thorough as well when he went over my x-rays. He showed me exactly what needed to be corrected and explained why. Explaining things to me is essential. It helps when you know whats going on as, in my opinion, the not knowing is what creates fear. He also had a confidence about him when he was looking at my teeth. He knows exactly what hes doing. The dental assistant, Ashley, was also very knowledgeable and personable and made me feel at ease. So important! The office receptionist, Chelsea, sat down with me and went over a plan for my dental treatments and showed me all the options I had to afford what I needed to have done. The costs were all there as well. No hidden costs issues at this office. It is very much appreciated when someone takes the time to explain things like this. All the above being said, I am no stranger to having dental work done, but that doesnt mean that I like it. ;-) If you are in search of a team geared towards quality, compassion and making you feel good, I would highly recommend calling them and giving them a try. Im not sure where my career is going to take me, but I dont mind driving a little farther or paying a little more (hes actually cheaper than my past dentists), if I trust someone and get the quality care I deserve. I experienced a dental emergency one evening at work. I had a poor dental history, and did not have a regular Dentist. I Googled Emergency Dentist, and called Creekwood Dental. Although they closed at 7pm that night, the staff said they would wait for me. Upon my arrival, the front office was kind and welcoming. They had paperwork ready, and were sincerely concerned with my emergency. Lacy gave me a tour of the office, and made me feel less anxious. I was seen immediatly by Dr. Qamar. He was kind, sincere, and he listened. He examined my tooth, I had X-Rays done, prescribed medications and instructions for an extraction. Dr. Qamar called me the next day to check on me. I have lived in Genesee County my entire life, and I have never had a regular Dentist or a positive dental experience. I am happy to say Dr. Qamar and his staff have changed that for me. Thank you Dr.Qamar, Lacy, and Creekwood Dental staff. Thank you for being patient, kind, and understanding. Sincerely, your new forever patient Tara.

I recently had some work done by Dr. Q. He went above and beyond any expections I may have ever had with a dental appointment. The staff is phenomenal and I felt very comfortable with all of them. I was informed of everything that was going on with my teeth and was aware of any financial obligations I may have by the front desk before any work was done. They all know exactly what they are doing and I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family. My fears of going to the dentist have now come to a end, I will look forward to going to see all these smiling faces at my next appointment.

Coming from someone who probably has the worst dental anxiety ever, Dr. Qamar and his staff are quite possibly the best ever. I cry the morning of any dental work, even cleanings. I require nitrous for cleanings to alleviate anxiety attacks even. Dr. Qamar is incredibly patient with me. He truly understands that in spite of past traumatic experiences, oral health is important to him and I both, and he works so well with me to give me the best care possible. If you have dental anxiety, and think you "cant". Try this office... you wont be disappointed.

I highly recommend Dr. Qamar and his staff at Creek wood Dental to anyone looking for a Dentist. I am always made to feel welcome and completely comfortable at every visit. Their skill, knowledge and professionalism is beyond words. . I have never felt pain and they always explain every procedure that they will be doing. I am 62 and have been to a few dentist in my time. I have never met any dentist that I like better. He is awesome. Feeling so blessed that I found Creek wood Dental..
