I called after being referred by the ER twice for kidney stones. Tried to call DR USITALO, HOWARD office in Chelsea back to get an appointment. This is the place I was referred to when in left er. I told receptionist it was a 3mm stone... she said "oh you can pass that".... duh! Ive been trying to pass it since the end of june. If I could have passed it I wouldnt still be sitting here in pain! So I asked "are you refusing to treat me?" She said no but her "surgeons" are for emergencies. I said "isnt the emergency room for emergencies? Shall I expect a $60 copay from you for telling me in can pass it myself?" She laughed and said ... "more like $300" and hung up on me. So I am left to feel this is a "special office" for "special doctors".... my pain, pain duration, possible renal collic, swelling are all non important.

He is one of the greatest and nicest doctors I have met. I went to 4 urologist before him (including Cleveland Clinic, The University of Michigan, and The University of Toledo) without any one of those places providing even the slightest explanation or relief. Dr. Usitalo and his entire staff were extremely friendly and helped me the first visit. He will take the time to listen to you and treat you like a person instead of a source of income. The office is peaceful and nice. The wait times at all of my appointments were minimal. I cant say enough great things about him or his office. THANK YOU DOC!

My experience with everyone in.this office is GREAT!! Ive been coming here for around 7yrs or longer and I dont ever want to go go anyone different...treatment is the best!! I love you all at Howard Usitalos office, dont ever change your friendlessly, loviness, and such...yall are the best!!
