I have been a patient of family care center in Davison for several years. The doctor is great. The office there is terrible. Trying to talk to a dr or nurse is impossible. Trying to get a prescription refill is twice as hard. I get a non controlled medicine that needs refilled. Now on several occasions I have had to wait 2 or more weeks with several phone calls in between not only from myself but my pharmacy before it will finally get called in. Last time was two weeks before memorial weekend and it took till the Tuesday after to get it, and I was without medicine the weekend. Mind you the medication I am on can cause withdrawals and put me in ER if going off it all of a sudden. In my opinion my family or I can sue if this ever happens. Now it is a Friday before a holiday weekend again and guess what happens. I call on August 19th to get a script refill over a week before I will run out to make sure I get it filled on time. Come a week later on the 27th it still is not called in so I call and leave another message. On the 28th and 29th my pharmacy called and could only leave a message. On the 29th I called and talked with receptionist that had trouble at first but when told the dates found all messages. She said she was taking back a urgent message for this. I did receive a phone call on the 29th back from nurse to verify phone number for script to be called in. Today I go to pharmacy thinking it would be there and yet again it is not. Now I call and phones are not working and my pharmacy closes at 5pm and is not open on this weekend. I am done with everyone there and regret that I will have to find a new doctor. This is a awful way to treat people and how do we know this wont happen in a life or death situation.

Scheduled a new patient appointment with Dr. Farley for end of December in October and told them I had to be in before the end of the year. Called 12/ 15 to see if they had any cancellations. they did for 12/ 17 so I called off work and took it. Drove half an hour to my appointment where the receptionist ignored me for a few minutes, then was told Dr. Farley just left for an emergency. I expressed my frustration to the receptionist who responded what do you want me to do about it? Their next available appointment wasnt until 1/ 23 to which I responded I have to be seen before the end of the year. They called the next day and said they could squeeze me in on the 27th and they were going to just put me in. No? Ive already taken a day off work to be stood up Im not taking off this one. They call me at 8: 50 this morning, the day of my original appointment, to inform me they have to cancel my appointment because Dr. Farley is gone for an emergency. Super professional. I wish I could just not show up to work.

I am so tired of over charges from this McLaren family health care. I recently received a bill from this office that was outrageous . I paid my co pay at the time of my visit. But since this office is under the" McLaren umbrella" all office calls also bill you a hospital facility bill. My bill including my co pay was over 200.00. I spent 5 minutes talking to the Dr. About my recent blood work. I think it is outrageous to expect people on Medicare to pay for the use of the office building used by a doctor. Drs. All ready make good money and if they use a building it should be up to the McLaren Group to absorb the cost of the facility, not the patients. I am really stressed and I am looking for a new family doctor in my area. I have been coming to this office for over 17 years and my health is not great.

I cannot fathom what happened in the last ten years to this office. The service at this facility is incredibly unpleasant and harrowing. It boggles the mind of how unprofessional the highest of profession can become. I am eager to note the care of the Doctors is top notch although mitigating the staff of mouth breathers is obnoxious and will likely wind a patient up in worst shape than they began. Cannot get a prescription called in, cannot get an appointment, cannot see the Doctor I was scheduled with. My appointment was moved a day even though it was scheduled well within advanced and pursuant to their office policy. I have called the office manager multiple times without any return phone call. The staff is prodigiously ugly in character and seems to operate without oversight of authority.

This place is terrible and the front desk staff is 90% of the reason I am no longer a patient at this location. Luck for my NP is located in Fenton as well and I will only go and see her there. Reason for the bad review. I was asked by work to get a PPD and I needed it read, simple, I thought. NOT SO. I called ahead to let them know what I was coming in for and they told me to check in when I got there and that I didnt need an apt. Needless to say I was sitting in the lobby for over 2 hours waiting on the front desk staff to pull my record and have someone read my PPD. When I asked the staff why it was taking so long or if I needed to make an apt they just brushed me off and said that they would take care of me shortly. Terrible customer service, great NPs.

Dr. Farley is truly a blessing to the medical community. Her passion for her patients is exuberant, the actual time she takes with each patient also is just fantastic. My husband and I have tried for years finding an empathetic doctor that would listen and communicate effectively and promptly and we finally found her. (It only took me 12 years to find a family doctor I could get into, understand, and not leaving the appointment frustrated). My only hope is that she can continue to build her patents and not become all of the other doctors that work for McLaren that have too many paitents, no openings, and let their paitents sit and wait for up to hours... well done Dr. Farley!

Not once have I had a doctor that actually cared about me or wanted to listen to me. Went through three different doctors two of which moved states and kept getting sent back to the doctor whom I kept switching from. Even one of the doctors I had said she was not pleasant! Once they lost my urine sample and I had to call them TWO weeks later to ask if they had got my results back ( since they always forget to call you) just to find out I had to come in and take a new sample. How did you lose my pee?! Actually made me cry once because my doctor just wanted to get me in and out and rush me. I WOULDNT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Long waits every time. This doctor outlet is conveniently located for me, or else Id go elsewhere. Their blood testing/lab never answers their phone or returns messages, so I assumed they were closed when I needed to get important tests done. This cause me to go to a smaller, more personal center Quest, up the road, where they got me in and out with a smile in 10 minutes (and answered their phones too!!)
