Dr. Dona is a wonderful doctor. Im so upset that I had to change doctors because of my insurance. For the most part, his staff in back is great. Except for the reception area. The mean chunky one acts like youre bothering her if she has to wait on you. She wont even make eye contact with you. And if she does, its a mean look like youve just ruined her day by making her do the job she gets PAID to do. No matter how sweet you are to her, shes just plain mean and nasty... unless, of course, you know her personally. Then, and only then, will you ever see her smile, whisper, or be nice. Shes loud and rude to everyone else, and talks loudly about your personal info. Plus, shell sit there and ignore you for a minute before shell even acknowledge you... and she knows youre there, she just doesnt give a crap. She doesnt even greet you with a "hello" or anything at all. And forget it if you need paperwork sent anywhere... Itll never happen. Shes lazy and a horrible person, plain and simple. Im disabled and cant stand for very long at all. After making the long walk into the office from the parking lot, the last thing I want to do is stand there waiting in horrible pain for Miss Grumpy-Butt to finish filing her nails before she even waits on me. She has no compassion whatsoever for the patients. Dr. Dona needs to get rid of her and hire someone nice. I could go on for days, but Im sure you get the picture. Everyone else there is wonderful, and doctor is so nice and is genuinely concerned for your well-being. Im really upset I had to change doctors. I will miss him. I hope he (or anyone else from the office) reads this so he can be aware of whats going on at the front window. Its ruining his practice, and Im sure many people have stopped going there because of that one chunky, lazy, mean, rude, dont-give-a-crap beast. Shes a nasty scab on his practice. Im sorry, but she is.

Hi, I have been a patient of doc Dona since 1996 and would like to say he is the best doctor I ever had , he saved my life and has always helped me, but I have had some bad experiences with his staff that sits at the front window. The older mean lady that sits in the front wont even look up at you when you come there sick. I had to tap on the window then she raises her eyes and wont even say good morning welcome to doctor Dona office may I help you. She likes to ask you about your bill and discusses your business in front of all the people standing in line behind you. If you dispute your bill in any way the others in he front office try to interject while you are talking. I didnt go back to the doc office for 9 months because of that woman that is always rude, I went there this week and again they wanted to discuss all my medical business in front of other patients, I had to say stop very rudely and asked to be taken to a private area to discuss my info. I dont blame Dr. Dona, I dont think his staff in the front realizes they are violating mine and other privacy. The younger nurse lady was real nice about my request and took me to a private area to discuss . My issues arent with the staff in the back, they are always nice and professional and dr Dona is the best, but when you go to the doctor the woman in the window is the first person you see and spokesman. If youre sick you dont want a mean rude lady that seems bothered to help you. I will always go to dr Dona because hes the best, but his office manager needs to know how the lady in the front acts. She wont even look at you unless she knows you and likes you. Im a disabled marine corps vet and Dr. Dona is a friend of all vets, I didnt wanna bother him with my problem is why Im writing this. Hes far to busy to have to deal with this so I hope his office manager is reading this because I love my doctor.

Dr.Dona was my doctor from the age of 16 until I moved out of state at the age of 35. He was also my daughters doctor when she was old enough to be his patient. I completely trust him with all of our care. He did a lot for me when I obtained a back injury in Florida. I dont know what kind of situation I would have been in today without his care. I wish I could have brought him with us when we moved, as I have yet to find a doctor that compares. I completely recommend him. As far as the office staff that works there, yes they are rude, but i usually would just ignore their ignorance a go about my business.

Dr. Dona is a wonderful caring man. I had just switched to him a few months ago and visited him because of some stomach pains and problems. He reviewed my symptoms and examined me and made a determination to put me in the hospital. He visited me on evenings and really cared for me. It turns out that my gallbladder went bad and it had to be removed. I am so thankful for a wonderful caring doctor like Dr. Dona. I would gladly recommend him to anyone who is seeking a doctor.

The office of Dr Dona is first come first serve. From my experience, he doesnt sit and listen and communicate effectively. And when he should be at the office, he runs late. I called to ask to switch to a different medicine, and the office never called me back even on the next day. And even when you call them at 9 am when they should be open, noone answers the phone.
