After searching around online for an eye care facility near home, I read some great reviews about Dr. McDowell and his staff on Google. They were all true! Dr. and his staff were easy going and knowledgeable of their products and really took their time making sure I was not rushed through the appointment. Heidi did a great job with the initial consult and preliminary exam, while Leigh, the optician had me trying on several pairs to give me her professional take on how they looked and fit my face. As I have transitioned in my career, I have found employment closer to home and no longer felt it appropriate to continue using a large franchise eye care facility that required an hour drive for services. Even if there was a big name facility in town, I would choose to come here as the personal touch was exactly what I prefer for services like this! Great job and keep it up! Ill be back to pick up some fresh frames in April!

The best eye doctor Ive been to. Ive gone with my SO for his appointment and had one of my own. Never had to wait long but never felt rushed. Dr. McDowell and his staff are so friendly and helpful. Ive been recommending them to all my friends and family. Seriously if you need to see an eye doctor, GO HERE! Leigh helped me with my glasses and was very honest and helpful with picking out a pair that I like and that are flattering for my face. Also I know people whove had their eye doctors give them a hard time when they needed their prescription information but you wont have a problem with that here! Again very friendly and helpful!

It was really nice the amount of professionalism displayed and all the employees seemed to really enjoy their jobs. The doctor was the best I have ever experienced in eye care and very thorough. I just moved to Owosso but will still make a trip here next year because it is absolutely worth it! Also, I enjoy giving my support to small businesses and you can do that by coming here. Youre not just a number when you come in, they actually care.

His staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I cannot recommend McDowell Eye Care highly enough!! My first visit there and I have 2 kids absolutely everyone in the building was amazing. One woman was showing my daughter pics on her horse and dogs. They had stickers and a sucker for her i was so impressed. And Dr McDowell was fantastic he was the best eye doctor I have been to in 30 years. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone.

Ive seen Dr. McDowell for years and just recently took my 7 year old to see him. Not only was he amazing with her, but his staff was as well. They met her on her level while providing excellent care at the same time. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their vision needs.
