Originally, I made an appointment here because I wasnt able to get into my regular vet at the last minute. After about 5min. into my appointment, I knew that my "regular vet" was a thing of the past, and I promptly had all of my dogs records faxed over. Wealthy Street Animal Hospital was the only place I was ever going to bring my pets to again!! I LOVE THEM! Everyone here is AMAZING, from the doctor to the receptionist!! They made my dog their #1 priority, even though it was late in the day (and Im sure they were all ready to go home). This made me feel happy and comfortable being there. They were not at all like some places where the doctor is in and out of the room in less than 5min. They spent time with us so they could get to the REAL root of the problem and give a true diagnosis, rather than a guess or assumption. Their obvious knowledge of the situation and genuine love for animals is way beyond what I have experienced at other vets/clinics. They spent a significant amount of time with me and my dog, explained and answered every question I had (and then some...) in a thorough manner, and gave me a variety of options to choose from to best deal with the problem. I would 100% recommend The Wealthy Street Animal Hospital to anyone with pets! There is a side for cats and a side for dogs. Their office is very clean and inviting, and every person there is friendly, kind, gentle, and extremely knowledgeable. You will not be let down. They are the BEST!! Thank you!

The first time I brought my dog here we had an absolutely wonderful experience and the staff was both friendly and helpful. However, this past visit I was really dissatisfied with the service. The vet came into the room and did not address my dog at all until it was time for him to be examined. My dog is scared of the vet, like a lot of other dogs, and she just squatted down and reached out her hand. He growled in response since she never took the time to get to know him and just expected him to respond to her. As soon as he growled she demanded that he be put in a muzzle. My dog has never needed a muzzle and when I tried to explain that she needs to get on his level and talk to him a little bit for him to get comfortable with her, she refused to listen. $55 later my dog was never even examined and she offered to just pump him full of meds. I definitely will not be going back again.

The staff at Wealthy Animal Hospital are so warm and welcoming. They always treat my pet like shes visiting a friends home, which helps to put her at ease. The most impressive part of or visits is the portion of our time spent with the veterinarian; we feel like the priority and the doctor never rushed from the examine room to get to another patient and always makes it seem that we are her only visitor of the day. She gives her time to us very openly until the examine is complete and I have no more questions or concerns about my dogs health. This will keep us coming back as long as we are in the greater Grand Rapids area. Thank you Wealthy Animal Hospital for making everyone, dog and person, feel welcome in your facility.

The veterinary staff is responsive, caring, and very knowledgeable, and they treat my pets like their own. Ive been a client at two other area clinics, and the expertise, compassion and personalized treatment at Wealthy Street Animal Hospital is without comparison. Appointments run on-time, reception staff is helpful and friendly, and the doctors take time in each appointment to answer questions and be thorough. I have a very anxious, reactive dog who had been muzzled and restrained at another clinic in order to receive treatment. WSAH took the time to earn my dogs trust and was able to treat him without issue on our very first appointment.

This place is the best i absolutely love them . Very quaint and the vet and techs are so caring and gentle with your pet and they are affordable and have a program that allows you 10 free visits with your pet to get them acclimated to the vet and surroundings to lessen anxiety and stress for your pets so lots of petting ,love and treats ! They also have two kitties that live there so if you like lots of kitty love then look out for Edgar he is a sweet heart :) Oh they also have a separate entrance for cats and dogs plus lots of cool products to buy . So bring your fur babies you wont be disappointed :)

My cat, Cedar, lacerated her leg while getting caught in a window that slammed shut. I brought her in to Wealthy Street Animal Hospital for the first time and I was very pleased with everything. The staff was very friendly and its clear they care a lot about the animals. The facility itself was clean and welcoming. Cedar needed anesthesia to have her sutures put in. Everything (from arrival to leaving after the procedure) took about 2.5 hours. Anesthesia, the procedure, and medication came out to be $320, which is a bit less than I expected. I will be bringing my cat back again for any medical concerns.

I have known Dr. Coffman for over 25 years and she has been a fantastic vet for all of my (many) animals for almost as long. I appreciate her knowledge, her care- especially when she puts a beloved family member down, her wonderful staff, her doctor co-workers, her service to her community, her hours....her going above and beyond attitude. She and both clinics are well worth any money spent. I was thrilled to hear that Wealthy Street Animal Hospital was opening- and I, and my furry friends, love it!!!

Wealthy Street Animal Hospital is a friendly, no nonsense, affordable and convenient full service veterinary clinic. I switched over from my previous vet with absolutely no regrets. My dogs enjoy going and have received excellent care, including an optimal exam for a pet who has gone blind as well as dental cleaning. An expensive treatment like cleaning was handled expertly with a rate quote and explanation. Even before & after photos!

A wonderful vet clinic with very thoughtful staff that really care for your pets and love what they do, plus they are great with kids that accompany you as well. I think its great that they have seperate sides for cats and dogs to help eliminate stressors for the pets. They also have a very beautiful black with a white undercoat cat that stays in the office and doesnt seem to mind anybody.

I was very pleased with Wealthy Street Animal Hospital. We recently moved to Grand Rapids and we wanted a vet close by, which is why I decided to try these guys. We will stay with them - Theo the dog is happy that we can walk there, he seems to feel comfortable, and I was impressed with the nice, calm, professional attitude of the people we met. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Staff there was very nice and seem to care a lot about animals. However, I didnt like the location. I had to drive around for quite awhile to find a parking spot. And my puppy was very scared of walking down the sidewalk of such a loud, busy street. I definitely recommend them to people who live in the neighborhood and can walk there or have animals that are not sensitive to sounds.
