Greetings, I hate to give a low rating to Ea Veterinary Clinic but my overall experience there was unsatisfactory. 1. I was not greeted or acknowledge by the receptionist the 5 - 10 minutes I was in the waiting area. I understand the receptionist was on the phone regarding the computer system but the conversation was casual and a quick " Ill be with you in a second" would of been an appropriate gesture. I was eventually greeted by a young lady who was very friendly but still was not acknowledged by the receptionist. 2. I originally stopped in to Eastown Vet to purchase heart worm/flea medication for my dog. I just moved to GR from out of state, so I do not have a vet. I had been purchasing the meds through another clinic on the East side of the state with no problems, I simply show the clinic proof of vaccinations/heart worm test results and buy the meds. Eastown informed me that I would have to bring my dog in for a $45.00 office visit to purchase the med. 3. There was not a single patient in the clinic. My husband and I use to own a small business so I fully support local businesses. First impressions are a must! Nickel and diming your customers is distasteful. D.Wells

I took my two kittens (Franklin and Newton) to Eastown Veterinary Clinic for their first ever vet visit and could not have been happier with the experience! The reception staff was friendly and efficient, the veterinary assistant, Jennifer, was hugely helpful and the vet (I saw Dr. Tittle) was great! Its nice to know that both vets at the practice attended one of the best vet schools in the country, MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, so not only are they nice but they really know their stuff. You can really tell that everyone at Eastown Veterinary Clinic loves their jobs and it shines through in how they interact with both animals and their owners. They put both Newton and Franklin at ease and the fact that the kitties were calm made me feel better about the whole experience. The facility itself is great, with easy access to the highway (less than 5 minutes away) and on site parking. Plus, they have Rolling Stone magazine in the waiting room (how cool!). I would highly recommend Eastown Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for a new vet or looking to change vets.

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Tittle and everyone at Eastown Veterinary Clinic. Everyones love of animals is palpable the second you step in - the gals behind the counter happily greet us and our fur-baby each time, for instance. We had a routine follow-up (after a smashing success of a first appt, where Dr. Tittle helped us solve our cats inappropriate urination problem), and our visit was massively delayed - because Dr. Tittle was assisting two dog emergencies (ingestion of chocolate and a heart attack). The entire staff was extremely apologetic, but frankly, I dont mind waiting; if that were my pet, Id want my vet to be able to give that much time and attention. Plus, theyre reasonably priced, and with the app, its easy to keep track of appts and prescriptions. Enthusiastic, incredibly friendly, and exuberantly in love with our furry family members - I couldnt ask for a better place to take our kitty.

We had a wonderful first experience with Eastown Vet Clinic. We had missed Dr. Happel at our last visit of our old vet clinic and wondered where she went! We were so glad to find her and her amazing staff. She is a loving, caring and highly professional vet who has a huge heart for animals as demonstrated by the quality of care she has given our dog. What makes her clinic extra special is her staff. They were extremely helpful on the phone and in person they were warm, welcoming and enthusiastic about their passion....animals! We got a tour, a print out of expected fees, lots of love for our dog and I felt wonderful about the care I was going to get there (and we have had brilliant care from Dr. Happel at our previous vet clinic). I highly recommend Dr. Happel and the Eastown Vet. In a society where noone even looks up from their phone to say hello, its great to be welcomed with open arms (or paws!).

My wife and I have been bringing our dog Fielder to the Eastown Vet for his entire life and we have been incredibly happy with the care and service we have been provided with there. Dr. Happel, Dr. Tittle, and the rest of the staff have always been exceptionally friendly, and shown that they are passionate for taking care of pets. On one occasion, Dr. Tittle called us unexpectedly just to check up and see how our dog was doing after his appointment. Not only do we use the Eastown Vet for the wellness and preventative care, but we also have his routine grooming appointments there and even enrolled in a puppy class last winter. Fielder looks forward to going here, which is quite a statement for a dog entering a vet. We would without a doubt recommend the Eastown Vet for anyone who loves their pet and is looking for quality care.

EVC was a wonderful experience for both myself and my cat, Noodle. Dr. Tittle was great with her and the staff was very helpful and kind. I am happy to bring Noodle there for many years to come. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and appeal that hits you right when you walk in and the staff exceeded my expectations the entire visit :). I would only recommend EVC to my family and friends. I love that they put a picture of my animal that shows up on all of my receipts as well as the cute little notes on there about how my pet behaved and how cute she is. I know that does not take much effort, but it really means so much to me to see that. I cannot praise this Vet Clinic enough! We love them!

Office was nice enough and vet was knowledgable and kind, although kept me waiting too long... Main issue was the prescription of antibiotic that I paid way too much for, and one offered for free at Meijer. Basic office visit was very expensive. My dog had a small wound, which they cleaned and I heard her yelping and howling in pain. When it swelled and immediately got reinfected, I called the office. They told me they would call me back with another estimate. They quoted me over $700 to have it surgically removed, even though I had just paid hundreds to them and they never actually fixed the problem. Felt like the vet is in the to make $$$ and not in the best interest of the animals. Boo!

EVC is the best! Dr. Happel and all of the staff are wonderful. We have been with them from the very beginning. They are friendly, knowledgeable, innovative, and state-of-the art. From an older dog that we had to put down, to a middle-aged dog requiring some corrective oral surgery to Puppy Kindergarten! There is on-line management of our pets and we even got a Birthday card for the puppy! We are so happy to have a top-knotch vet in our neighborhood. We often just stop by on our walks to say hello and get a treat. As far as any negative reviews, Im thinking they have never REALLY been there. Thats sad. I encourage everyone with a pet in the area to check them out!
