My wife and I took both of our cats for declawing. One Kitten and an one adult . Right after retuning with the Kitten,we noticed that she was pulling her fur out exposing her flesh. She was stripping her fur in very large spots. Hind legs, front legs, paws and ears. We called back to talk to tje Doctor, but everytime we would call,he wasnt there. Finally he returned my wifes call and blamed the kittens reaction on fleas. She didnt have fleas,so after paying $465.00 to have our kitten declawed and a rabid shot,we had to take her to an animal hospital on outerloop and payed another $179.00. The diagnosis was that the kitten was put under stress. Now for our adult cat,she has never been the same. She once was a loving cat,but now she is very distant and still dont act right. We will never be returning to this place ever. Please keep your pet away from this veterinarian. We asked several times to go to the back room to visit with our cats, but we were not allowed. Makes me wonder whats back there. ******KEEP AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMALS. *******

Ive been going to Crockett for quite a few years. Ive known all the techs that have worked there and been a tech myself. To the concerning comment and remarks regarding the "back room" where your animal is kept..I can assure you its safe. To be honest a lot of animal hospitals dont let you in the back rooms due to privacy reasons. Its a sterile surgical room as well. You wouldnt want strangers coming into your work environment and invading your office. Thats also where all the procedures are done and its quite distracting doing tech procedures (nail trims, anal glands, dentals etc) while clients are walking in and out opening cages to see their pets. Hes taken really good care of all my dogs and cats, as well as my families. The techs will treat your animal like their own and take excellent care of them. His prices are fair especially compared to most clinics. If a person has a bad experience they will likely tell 10 of their friends. If they have a good one, its typically kept to themselves or told to a few. Keep that in mind as you read reviews.

I was a tech for Dr Crockett for about 6 weeks. The back office is filthy, he reuses dirty needles, does not provide oxygen during anesthesia, doesnt weigh an animal prior to injecting anesthetic, will leave the building giving uncertified technicians the responsibility of a sedated animal. I have personally witnessed Dr. Crockett punch a dog in the face for not sitting still for a blood draw and his tech pick a dog up by a choker leash and throw into a top cage. There are boarding cages in the xray room.. I couldnt handle working there and witnessing this horror. Many patients will piss themselves at the sound of his voice. I believe he doesnt even like animals.. he breeds dogs, leaves puppies in cages and when the mother cant reproduce anymore, the rest of her life is spent in the back of that office in a cage ; -( I could make this list 3x as long, but I think you get the idea.. stay far far FAR away from this place!!

Wont be taking my cat back to Dr Crockett. My entire family used to use him for literal decades, then one by one all had bad incidences and stopped. I was the last one holding on. I will not return because Dr Crockett is cold, condescending, and unclear. Ive spent the past year with him dodging questions like a pro then requiring $220 worth of bloodwork for a 2nd time. This is all after telling me my cat had bladder cancer and is dying for the past year. I didnt realize how bad he was until I got a second opinion where the same bloodwork PLUS urine analysis PLUS an actual ultrasound revealed my cat doesnt have cancer! Also all 3 services were exactly HALF THE COST of Crocketts "blood work"... Enough said. Dont go here.

Have been using Dr. Crockett for many years now and up until this year have had excellent service. However this year has been a bit disappointed by the service hours Dr. Crockett keeps. Came in one Saturday back in July to get worm medicine, hours on Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM, Dr. Crockett shows up after 9:45 AM. Then had a situation where one of our dogs ate carpet and had to stay overnight. Clinic supposed to open at 9 AM, after 9:30 AM before we received status update from Dr. Crockett. Just now I call to schedule a visit for one of our dogs for 6:30 PM Thursday 9/19. Was told Dr. Crockett does not work that late even thought hours clearly published on the building and website are until 7 PM on Thursdays.

Lack of information post op, technicians seemingly disinterested. Took a dog to get spayed in the morning and the office was being painted--drop cloths all over the floors. Office was an old house that had been converted, so no telling what the rest of the place looked like beyond the waiting room. Was told to return in the afternoon and our dog was woozy like she had just had the surgery. No information was given on how to care for her in the next few days (e.g. no running, keep the site clean, no licking) until asked. Finally, walking out the door, was told to return in 10 days to have stitches removed. Not impressed. Pros: economical pricing Cons: no telling how your animal is treated
