If youre one of those people to whom your cat is your whole world, this is the place for you! If, however, you have regular bills to pay and other financial responsibilities, start looking elsewhere. This place is outrageously expensive. My cat had been off his food, moody, and lethargic, so I brought him here while his regular vet was recuperating from an illness. He doesnt like the alternate vet at our regular clinic, so I hoped this place would be a good interim vet. I have no doubt that the staff LOVES cats, they are so friendly and helpful, and put my cat right at ease. Unfortunately, the cost of care here will bleed you dry. They ran tons of bloodwork, stool samples, urine samples, etc., which I have no doubt are very helpful in some instances. However, results came back saying that he was a healthy cat- no problems. When his regular vet was back in his office, it didnt take him more than five minutes to discover that my cat had an infected tooth and it needed to be removed. That entire procedure cost less than the bloodwork from KCC. I was surprised that they didnt notice the tooth, or perhaps didnt consider it the source of his problems, but I was not pleased about paying for services I didnt really need. The bloodwork was pitched as a very reliable way to pin down health problems, but it seems in their haste to do this, they overlooked something that was obvious to my kittys regular vet (this surprised me, as they offer quite the array of cat dental services.) If you choose to go here, dont be afraid to speak up and ask "have you checked my cats teeth, ears, etc.," before agreeing to pricey bloodwork.

As somebody who has brought 4 of her cats to this clinic I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. Fromt he minute you walk in the door you are greeted by staff who are happy to help you. My favorite vet, Dr. Sadek is a godsend. She is compassionate, wonderful, kind and gentle. She has saved multiple cats from death, even after an emergency visit to the Plainfield animal hospital, where they misdiagnosed my baby, Kentwood Cat Clinic go tot he heart of what was wrong and saved his life. We too are battling a nasty cancer with our 13 year old angel. He will eventually need to be put down and as I sat crying in her office at the worst of news, Dr. Sadek did the only thing that helped, she hugged me. The Kentwood Cat Clinic is a wonderful place. Yes, they are more expensive than ordinary places but they are worth every penny. They will lay out all costs and what you can pick an choose from. I have never had issue with them. They are fair, and listen and CARE about the people and furry babies they serve. They are a blessing and I adore and appreciate this place. Even having moved an hour away, we still bring our cats to this place. You wont find better care!

I am extremely grateful that my local vet referred my cat, Katie, to Dr. Sadek at the Kentwood Cat Clinic. Katies health had been declining and when she became very ill, my vet referred her to the Cat Clinic since she needed the level of expertise and diagnostic ability they could provide. Dr. Sadek saw Katie the next morning and after a thorough work-up, she was diagnosed with a chronic illness and given a treatment plan. Initially Katies care was complicated and I was very impressed with the responsiveness and personal service we received. In response to my many questions, I always received a call back from Dr. Sadek or Dr. Berger or Dr. Simon if they were covering. Each was very willing to listen and able to make recommendations. Currently Katie is in better health than she has been the past few years. It is wonderful to see her active and healthy! From the time we walked in the door, we felt welcomed and cared for. I am confident we will continue to receive the support and expertise needed to manage Katies care. Thank you to all the caring, competent staff at Kentwood Cat Clinic for making Katie a success story.

After moving to the area I really had no idea where to take my cats. After driving by the facility it looked nice and I liked how it is a cat only clinic. I totally agree with the other reviews the treatments and procedures they recommend dont always seem necessary and are very expensive. I had my cat in for her routine shots and wellness checkup, for days later she needed the feline leukemia vaccine and they charged me another $46 for a wellness checkup. After receiving the bill I contacted the clinic and was told it was mandatory and that alot can change in 4 days (with a totally healthy cat?). I explained to the vet that their clinic is very expensive and that I really could not afford the extra $46 at that time. He really did not care and did not offer any way to help me out. Needless to say I have since switched vets and found their prices to be more that 50% less than those of Kentwood Cat Clinic. They may love cats, but they love $ more!

My review is on Cat Clinic North as my experience has been primarily there with occasional trips to Kentwood Cat Clinic. I have had nothing but wonderful care from the entire staff of CCN. The few times I was at KCC the care there was just as good. I woke up one morning to find my cat Josie walking with one hip dragging with little use of corresponding leg. They were able to get her in that day to perform tests. Long story short -- she had a ruptured disk in her spine. As an alternative to surgery, Dr. Sadek suggested laser treatments. It has proven to be a wonderful/positive option…much less invasive (and costly) than surgery. I would definitely recommend CCN and KCC to anyone who asks. The staff is very caring and it is clear they care for all of their kitty patients!

Very caring, experienced and flexible with scheduling. Cat Clinic North and Kentwood Cat Clinic are the same clinic, just different locations, so one can always use both clinics as needed. The vets rotate locations on different days of the week. The Kentwood (Breton & 29th St) location has been responsive to becoming more wheelchair accessible after some issues were brought up, which is great and it shows just how much they care. These Cat Clinics are amazing. They are an exemplary company and a blessing to our community, to the cat guardians they serve, and to the many kitties they heal and love!

I have never found a more cat loving, knowledgeable and dedicated Veterinary clinic. They are extremely professional. They go over all the options for pet care with you thoroughly. The experience the team has is remarkable. I especially love how they know how to handle your cats in the most gentle and safe way. They always go above and beyond. I wish I still lived in MI, because I have not been able to find this kind of care for my cats anywhere else. If anything serious ever happened to my cats I would do everything I could to fly back to MI for their care and expertise.

They have a team of experts that want only the best for your cat! Extremely high quality care. Ive never felt safer having my kitty seen here. Having seen how they work from behind the scenes now, I feel even safer knowing the safety protocols & level of care they put into getting these kitties better.
