I brought my cat here to be neutered. I have to admit he is fairly aggressive with strangers, so I understand there may have been issued with that but they sent him home after only having been there for less than two hours (when I had originally been told he would be in for about 4-6 hours). Not only did they send him home hours early while he was still clearly under anesthetic, but they did not notify me at all that he wouldnt be able to walk straight, would not be able to recognize me or if he was able to jump like normal or not. The only after care instructions I got were to give him pain needs twice daily. Obviously when I got him home I freaked out when I saw what state he was in and immediately called and they then informed me that is normal for being so soon after surgery. Also I then realized that after they had finished operating on him they put him right back into his cat carrier and let him urinate all over himself and then sit in it for at least an hour. I will absolutely never bring any animal here ever again, no matter the circumstances. I feel that they have a total lack of care or respect for the pets that are brought into them. I know my mother also had an issue with them because she used to bring her small dog in there for grooming until they cut her with the clippers (and it never looked very good either).

My 1 year old cat wasnt acting herself, so we took her here knowing something was up. They kept her overnight for observation and did X-rays but said she was fine. We took her home and she hid in the house where no one could find her for days. She refused to eat and worried us so we went to another vet for a second opinion. We took the X-rays in case it would help, and it did. The other vet noticed right away the scans were abnormal, the bones werent the way they should be and she had feline lukemina. They could tell all that from the X-rays, which holly vets took and overlooked giving her a clean bill of health. Tests confirmed she had feline lukemina, I couldnt believe the holly vets completely missed it. My cat passed away naturally later that night. I have refused to take any of my animals to holly vet for missing something another vet noticed within seconds of viewing the X-rays. I felt robbed of my last days with my cat because holly vet said she was fine. Its worth driving 30-40 minutes out of holly for a vet when it means your pets are actually being cared for. I hope sharing my story will help another person avoid the pain I suffered from trusting this terrible place.

My family has taken their animals here for years but we will never go back now. We took my dog in 3 times in a year looking for answers on some chronic issues and the vet offered little insight and told me basically that my dog was going to die soon. The vet did not do bloodwork any of the times I went there and then my dog ended up having a disease identified by bloodwork. Since he didnt have the blood work done my dog reached near death from a highly treatable disease and then ended up having to be put down still. Im glad I took my dog over to an actual animal hospital that for the last 3 weeks of his life gave him the care he actually needed and identified the disease. THIS DOCTOR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP YOUR PET WHEN THEY NEED IT MOST. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM.

My family has used this vet for years. They are always very gentle, professional, understanding, and compassionate. We have brought in every type of animal from dogs to cats and even though they do not specialize in small rodents they were willing to treat the rats as well. On occasion we had to take our animals to after hour clinics at other hospitals (because our vet was closed) and found their staff to be rude and the cost was outrageous.

I had to take my 17 year old cat to the Holly Veterinary Hospital last week to have her put to sleep. The staff there were all very compassionate, from the lady on the phone to the doctor himself. I was not pressured to spend money to try to "fix" a elderly cat that I had made my mind up on. Having to say goodbye to a devoted part of the family is very difficult and I am so glad I picked this clinic to go to.

The new vet here is awesome! I had a injured kitten i had found and he fixed him right up for me, that same day! All the staff was really nice and gave me directions for when we got home :)

I used to go here for all my animal care need, but will never go back because they turned away my dying animal and told me that it was probably to late anyways.
