I was just seen at the Plainwell Borgess E.R. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and I have been having some issues. I went in about 7 a.m. this Saturday morning and the Nurse Lorri R.N. was supposed to be helping me. She was EXTREMELY rude and quite difficult to deal with. I was attempting to tell her I was in pain and that I have a kidney deformity, I said that I have one big conjoined kidney and that its located in my abdominal region, she cut me off before I could even get all that out and I quote her saying "thats impossible to have a kidney up therr, they are ALWAYS located in the back" I in return told her not in my case and I need you to fully listen to what I am trying to tell you. She then got a bigger attitude towards me and said when was your last period? I said Im sorry I dont know, she said you have to do better then that! When was your last period? I said look lady I dont know im 22 weeks pregnant figure it out if you have to know so bad. This is just the two most irritating unprofessional things this Lorri R.N. did during my visit at the Plainwell Borges E.R. I really wish I knew how to make a formal complaint against this lady as she does not need to be helping people.

The worst hospital staff I have ever encountered. Repeatedly, even having other information from my family doctors and specialist in hand at time of visit, do they not listen to information and talk pure nonsense like reading from a script. I hope they all get the same treatment when they are desperate for help from a professional because at some point they will need help and that is a day where justice will be served and Karma will make sure of it. By then however it wont matter but they will know the pain they cause others that could be changed by one simple thing ....LISTENING!!!!!!!!! Listen you terrible human beings! Thats all you have to do...you took a hypocratic oath and have failed. Listen and keep your personal judgement at home. Where it belongs!!!!!!!Be a professional! Try it

My wife and I brought our 3 month old in tonight(she was screaming and crying for 6 hours and its the 3rd of July and the pediatricians office is closed until the 5th). The dr came in, spent literally 2 min in the room checking heart beat and ears, looked at me and said "shes stable follow up with her primary." And that was it! I have a $250 copay for ER visits....so I just paid $250 for 2 min and no help. Then to top it off the nurse came in(because she could hear my daughter screaming) and instructed me to give my 3 month old "some Tylenol". When I asked if it was safe(it says on the bottle not to without consulting a doctor) and how much to give her she said "Im sure it is" and "Im not sure how much its on the bottle."

Dont go there!!! And if you do god for bid Dont cry theyll call you irate. I was crying and confused I had a concussion I guess (I found out later by going to a good hospital Bronson). My nurse announced loudly that that room is being irate. I had a test done and after I never once did a nurse return to check on me, a person with a concussion! Doctor said nothing is wrong and then a nurse pretty much runs me out of my room and slapped a paper in my hand and says check out with so and so on your way out. I heard people call it a band aide hospital. Keep that in mind.

Very disappointed in the diagnosis of our granddaughter. Dr there said infintago and diaper rash. My daughter took her to Bronson and she was checked by 4 different Doctors and after many blood test and other test she was diagnosed with strep that went scarlett fever. ( I wont mention the Dr name from pipp but she knows who she is.) Very sadden by they way the times have changed and we are sent threw like a number. How many patients can we see in an hour?

Went in for some stitches in my ankle. Had me in and out in less than an hour. The nurse made a special effort to make my tetanus shot as nice as possible, dr was very pleasant as well. Nurse even spent her break visiting my dog and gave my fiancé some ice for her many visits to go out and run the AC as it was hot that day. They went above and beyond to get me taken care of. HIGHLY reccomend. Our go to from now on.

Had to schedule an appointment a month ahead of time. When it was the day of my appointment I had to waited for 2 hours to be seen. The doctor was VERY rude. He didnt listen to me, I had to force him to test me for what I came in for. Go anywhere else but here. Oh and I got sick the day after I dont know it was from the hospital but it could of been.

Dr Shiak and Dr Hasime are by far the worst Drs Ive ever had contact with. Both treated me like a drug addict and would not listen to me. Both seemed to have a great prejudice against Caucasians. And both seem to have a degree in malpractice and neglect.
