My 8 year old daughter recently had her first appointment at Dental Dreams. First I was called three different times to confirm the appointment, even though I answered on the first time and confirmed. That was annoying. Then my husband and daughter arrived 10 minutes prior to her appointment time, and were not called back to a room until 55 minutes later, that is 45 minutes past the appointment time. Then the assistant cleaned her teeth and what not-never stopping to explain a thing to my daughter, just shoving different tools in her mouth, I might add-and then they waited another 25 minutes to do the xrays. In total, for just an annual cleaning they were there for 2 hours and 20 minutes. That is absolutely unacceptable. So it turns out that my daughter has 3 cavities, I called and canceled the appointment that my husband had been pressured into making to get them filled, made an appointment elsewhere and I asked the person at the front desk to please have her xrays ready by the end of the day because my husband was going to come pick them up, she said she would make sure they were ready. Several hours later my husband arrives to pick up her xrays and they tell him that they have been misplaced. Lost. That is what has happened to my daughters xrays, lost. Clearly no one even attempted to have them ready because otherwise they could have called me and saved him the trip. They offered to redo them for free, I was very reluctant to bring her back there, but had no choice. Then they gave me all kinds of problems when trying to get her scheduled to have them re done because I needed them done before her new appointment, I do not care if there is not an opening, MAKE ONE! This whole ordeal is entirely the fault of the practice, and I know from experience that they have no problem making patients with previously scheduled appointments wait un-Godly amounts of time. So they agree to work her in, now mind you my husband is taking off work for this crap. Then when my husband brings her in, they tell him that they found the xrays. They were in the computer. Whatever idiot looked for them the first time did not think to look for them in the computer. Frustrating. But oh well. We happily take the xrays and smile because we are finally done with Dental Dreams right? Wrong. When we went to her new appointment, which was a wonderful facility and competent staff, they said the xrays were too poor of quality to be used for diagnostic purposes. They took some new ones free of charge, and located the cavities. When the billing person was entering info into my insurance to get a quote of how much it would cost to have them filled. However when she was entering the information a flag came up, apparently Dental Dreams had entered that they had removed one of my daughters teeth that had a cavity! What on earth?!?! I have never experienced the level of unprofessionalism that I did from this place, not from the person who makes me McDoubles, not from the person who bags my groceries. Absolutely, unbelievable. I will never recommend this place to anyone, and I will not ever be back.

Incredibly painful experience. Before the topical numbing worked (not enough administered, not on long enough, I dont know), I was given three shots, each one eliciting a scream. First, it was clear I wasnt numb, then they were shot in so fast that the pain was unlike anything Ive ever felt at a Dentist. And why he didnt stop after there were clear indications of an issue is beyond comprehension. In addition, he verbalized a disorder I have to his aid, but then never did anything to take it into consideration. By the time he was done working on my right upper teeth, I had all the fingers of my left hand inside my mouth trying to keep my jaw from closing, and my right hand was pulling down on my jaw to try to help, too. I was not offered a bite block, though the tears leaking out of my eyes were kindly wiped away by the assistant. It was horrible. Then the filing want polished down, and I was told to chew on that side, which just aggrevated the area because he never did get my bite right, (even though I kept saying it wasnt okay). To add to the poor experience, they gave me an estimate for resin fillings, but told me they would be silver and insisted that I had my terminology wrong. It felt like they would have billed insurance for resin, but I would have walked out with silver if I hadnt pressed them. After I had a discussion with a different dentist, I found he used a tool more suited for amalgam fillings, and that is related to why I was still having trouble. The contact wasnt closed, and this sharp thing was still sticking out past my tooth, which bothered my tongue, and flossing was difficult. Apparently, it met the minimum standards, but there were issues needing resolution. Its my understanding that I wouldnt have had such cold sensitivity if the bite had been right and I hadnt inflamed the root by continuing to chew on that side to smooth out the filling. To fix it, I had to go to another dentist. I couldnt possibly trust my mouth, something quite important that I use every single day, to them another time...even if they promised to fix it. If they COULD fix it, they should have done a lot better to begin with, including having good "bedside" manners, not outwardlt showing apathy about the job, giving me unclean glasses when I took off my own (because they were getting covered in grit that would scratch the lenses), cleaning their chairs and surfaces, having a better (more functional for patients) scheduling methodology, and other things in sure Im forgetting. Their logo doesnt do then any favors, either, though it did make me wary, I should have paid attention to my instinct. I ended up getting what was advertised: unprofessional, wacky dental dreams--of the nightmare variety. Im sad for people who have no choice at all. I felt like I didnt, but after that experience, I did what I needed to do to get decent dental care, something out seems that all humans should have access to, regardless of income.

All I can say is dont go!!! They rush things to take more patients in because they are over booked. They made me wait for at least two hours before my turn came, and this happened to me twice. This time I was there for a sensitive tooth ache. I waited for one hour outside and after begging them for my turn, they took me in and made me sit for 1hour on the dental table with a green apron around my neck; waiting for the doctor like a fool. I would have been better sitting out side. I wasted two hours and didnt get any work done. I could not wait any longer I had to get back to work with an aching tooth. Before I left I asked them if I could speak to the doctor for a second, they said I can not and i can only do that by taking an appointment again. Then I came back to my office and called them to see if there was any way to talk to Dr. Park because of my tooth ache, the manager said i could not talk to him on the phone because phone calls are not recorded, and the only option i had was to make an appointment, which is after three days. Conclusion: i need a different doctor.
