Not a good choice for children with special needs. Upon arrival, they were very friendly, as they usually are. During the cleaning we discovered my child (with high functioning special needs) needed a couple cavities filled and we discussed the options. The dentist wasnt very thorough explaining the options, but I had an idea of what was going to happen. Skip forward a few weeks. When we got to the office and the dentist came into our room, she laid the chair back and was going to immediately start working on my child (my child became nervous). I stopped the dentist and asked what the plan is, to make sure we are on the same page. She quickly explained that she was going to start with filling the cavity and "well see". I asked for clarification as we had discussed the options before (numbing gel, gas, and shot). I tried to explain that my child has some special needs and is fearful of needles and how important it is for me to understand the plan, so I can explain the plan to my child (she doesnt do well with suprises). I also stated that Ill need to know if she desides to use gas so that I know how much extra I will need to pay. With a friendly smile, and the nicest voice, the dentist states "why you waist my time, why you be mean"? I apologized for the misunderstanding (I really didnt mean to come across as rude) and again referenced our last visist and tried to ask my questions about the procedure. The dentist has a strong accent and it made it a little more difficult for me to understand. The dentist again stated that Im being "mean" and "wasting" her time, that she treats her customers like family and I should trust her, like her other customers. The dentist stated that she doesnt "care what we discussed last time". At this point, my child is in tears and the dentist almost appears fearful of my child (odd sinse she was only crying). The dentist stated that she was going to refer my child to a specialist because of the crying. I told her that Im changing dentists. The dentist left the room and got the receptionist, then they both came back into the room to talk to me. The receptionist stood between the dentist and I, as though she was protecting her ... Im still just sitting there... I explained to both of them that I just dont feel we are a good fit and that Im going to change dentists. The receptionist, whom was being very passive aggressive, stated that shell send me to the specialist. I told her that Ill choose a dentist on my own and left the office.

I am pretty impressed with this place. Im lucky. Ive always had good dentists. None of the horror stories you hear from others about painful procedures, rude staff or long waits. I felt really comfortable the moment I walked in. The place is very clean, very organized, peaceful and everyone that works there has been so accommodating and hospitable. Ive always wanted to get my teeth fixed since theyre a little gappy,painful, sensitive, so I talked to Dr.Hetal Patel about this and everyone at Affordable Family Dental care helped make it happen. I love walking in and seeing how happy Danielle or Melissa are to see me! I love how personable everyone there is! I like feeling like I have my own dentist again and moreover, Im not horrified every time Im scheduled to go in.The staff at Affordable Family Dental care is amazing as well. They have always been cheerful and friendly. They walked me through the entire process of my procedure. Specially, i would like to thank you Dr.Hetal Patel, Danielle, and Melissa for your Kindness Help and thanks a ton Danielle and Melissa for bearing me lol i knw i m a Big Trouble maker for u guys when i m there ahaha !! you guys are jus awesome !! I would highly recommend Affordable Family Dental care to anyone. Whether you are going in for a routine checkup or looking for a smile makeover, Affordable Family Dental care is the place to go. Dr hetal and staff very helpful towards ur needs nd they r very kind hearted ppl there u shuld visit they will put their maximum efforts towards ur treatment :) Thanks a ton Dr. Hetal Patel :)

Dr Patel and the team at affordable family dental are simply the best. I had been to 4 dentists before I went to Dr Patel for my dental work. Dr. Patel is a good example of Compassion and Honesty, as I asked her to do my root canal and she worked on it for 3 hours but because of my other complication she could not finish it and after all that work she did not charge me for it even though she wanted to refer me to other orthodontist in the beginning. Dr Patel solved my major dental sensitivity problem with ease , total quality care, and good artistic- manual dexterity. I can not say enough good things about the staff and Dr Patel, they are ready to help and provide the care every patient deserves. Dr Patel is a super star of all dentists. I am finally able to eat cold and hot things without pain, all thanks to Dr Patel. I am very thankful and love this office. if you need any help with your complicated dental work, please dont just waste your time simply call Dr.Patels office and Dr. Patel will do the best treatment possible in the dentistry without any manipulation.!!!!! DR. PATEL IS THE SYNONYM FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE DENTAL TREATMENT.!!!!!!!!!

Affordable Family Dental Care is best dentist that I have ever went too! They make sure you are taking care of your teeth the right and proper way. Everyone in the office makes you really welcome and makes you feel like they are true family to their clients. I could not ask for a better dentist to go to. Melissa is always working around everyones schedule, then the doctors associates are great to work with, and the doctors there are really gentle with your month and a,ways doing their job with great confidence with their job. Everyone in the office are amazing and fun people to be around. I am never nervous to go the dentist like when I was in Ohio because I know everyone in the office is going to take awesome care for me!! I would recommend anyone, everyone to that office in a heart beat! They are some awesome people to work with!! I love them all. They like family to me.

I give Affordable Dentistry a 5 star rating. I have always had a very uncomfortable feeling going to the dentist. Guess you could say it WAS a phobia of mine. I have been coming here for over a year and would go no where else. Melissa at the front desk is the face for the business. It all starts there and she does an amazing job. The dental techs make you feel very comfortable with the general cleaning and checkups. Dr. Patel is the absolute best. She does a great job of telling me in detail the procedure that she is going to do beforehand and things to think about before a major problem occurs. I really like this part. This ends up saving the patient money down the road. I would recommend this business to anyone! Bryan Shephard

I recently lost my front tooth and contacted several dentists but nobody would work with my insurance. After several hours of stress, I went to affordable dental and was treated with great respect. Melissa, the receptionist, went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. After only a few minutes the dentist was able to help me with my issue. I am beyond grateful that I chose this dentist. They were so kind and helpful and really showed me that they cared! Thanks to all the staff at affordable dental, I had such an amazing experience and would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Thanks again!
