My first impression of this dental office was WASTE. Everywhere, there were evidence of wasted expense. They charge you a very high dollar and I can see that they have to in order to afford all the promotional items they give away freely. Personal labels on bottled water, lip balm, travel coffee mugs, your bill is bound in a professionally printed folder, and you are taken to a separate room to discuss the charges as though you were buying a car. Did this make me feel like I was getting extra special treatment? NO, I would rather have had water from the tap in a paper cup and a lower bill!!! Also, be advised that this dentist has no problem taking you to small claims court if you dont pay within 3 months. 9 months after services had been rendered, long after I believed it to be paid in full, I received an invoice for the balance of what my insurance company would not pay. This is the amount which exceeds the normal and customary rate that BlueCross is willing to cover, and is in violation of the agreed terms when the dentist accepted my insurance. My husband has been out of work for over a year and its difficult to suddenly have to come up with over $300 for a bill you should not have to pay, nor expected. Additionally if they had been more prompt in billing me for this, I could have used my FSA to pay for it. No, the bill came at the end of January the following year, my FSA had been used up. Obviously they dont think about their customers and how they can make it easier on them to pay the bill. Additionally, they will not dismiss your case even after its been paid unless you pay the court filing fees. Overall, my impression is that they waste their funds. Charge you for all the unnecessary extras by inflating their rates. They have no respect for the agreements with the insurance company and are only interested in getting as much money from you as possible. Was their service worth it? Do they provide the best care? No. Ive gotten the same or better service at places that charge far less. I would only recommend this office if you like to spend money and lots of it.

Having thoroughly researched the use of mercury i.e. amalgam fillings in the mouth, I believe the practice is toxic to the body. As a young teen I had four alleged cavities fixed with amalgam fillings and for some time as an adult sought to have them removed at the appropriate time. That opportunity arose when after a recent cleaning I was informed that after 30+ years, one or more of the amalgam fillings were failing. Studies show that removing amalgam fillings can release huge amounts of mercury into the body. My current dentist was not IAOMT educated in biological dentistry including techniques for proper removal of mercury fillings. I began searching and interviewing dentists I deemed qualified to complete my needed work. I found and chose Hi Tech Family Dentistry in Southfield Michigan because of the qualifications of the attending dentists and staff. Dr. McGettrick assessed the condition of my fillings and a treatment plan was presented for me to approve. The assessment allowed removal of all four fillings at the same appointment minimizing visits, inconvenience, use of time, and my exposure to mercury poisoning. Dr. McGettrick and her staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, organized and efficient. I would not describe any filling replacement or dental procedure as enjoyable, let alone four, but Dr. McGettrick and the staff ensured that I was comfortable and minimized any uneasiness and displeasure as was humanly possible. The fillings were performed with top of the line CAD/CAM technology performed in the office, which ensured a perfect fit. Following the procedure, the staff followed up with me to make sure there were no complications that arose after I had left. Even though I live about 30 miles from this dentist, I will have all of my future dental services provided through this dental office as long as I live in a commutable distance.

I chose this practice based on the fact that their reviews were great and, of course, they participated with my insurance company. Well, I couldnt be more pleased! I had procrastinated visiting the dentist because of an issue involving my two front teeth that was quite unusual and required some pretty drastic treatment that I really didnt want to face. However, it was getting to the point where something needed to be done so I came in. First, my initial exam and everything that went with it was very easy and comfortable. Dr. Huber worked with me and explained what was up (confirming the earlier diagnosis) and outlining options and Sandy handled the cleanings. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Huber, who is concerned, knowledgeable and open to my thoughts and feelings on the issues. And Sandy was great - gentle, smart and the experience of cleaning many years of "stuff" from my teeth was comfortable - not traumatic in the least. Since my initial visit I have been back for extractions and prep for the work that needs to be done to restore my "smile". I have to say that, after much anxiety and sadness about the situation, they were empathetic and the outcome, so far, couldnt be better. The surgery was painless, quick and handled skillfully by Dr. Huber, and Connie is working magic to make my temporary "smile" as good as it can be. I feel safe and comfortable with this dental team and am actually starting to look forward to visiting them! The front office is personable and caring as well. All together a great dental team. I highly recommend Hi Tech Family Dentistry! Bottom line, theyre great! :)

I havent been to the dentist in about 3-4 years due to dissatisfaction with my previous two dentists. I finally made an appointment at Hi-Tech Family Dentistry of Southfield and I couldnt be happier! I probably had the most thorough cleaning Ive ever had and some x-rays that could have potentially saved my life. Dr. McGettrick found a tiny spec of calcification in an artery in my neck, asked me about my family history and directed that I take the films via disc to my family doctor. Probably nothing serious, but without the "hi-tech" x-rays and CT scans their office uses this may have been missed. On top of the amazing cleaning and Dr. McGettricks educational and very pleasant bedside manor, the office is beautiful!! Its clean, the colors are soothing and inviting, there are TVs in every room, free Wi-Fi and even the staff coordinates with the colors of the decor! Every detail is in place! If Dr. Morin and Dr. McGettrick arent your dentists, they should be.

I was referred to Dr. Morin by my physician after having had bad experiences with prior work which, quite frankly, made me avoid the dentist as much as possible. Drs. Morin and McGettrick, and their fabulous staff, have completely turned around my dental health and I have "reliable" teeth for the first time in years. The quality of the dental work that I have received, and the unwavering standards of professional, kind and sincere treatment provided by the entire staff at High Tech Family Dentistry have shown me what truly fine dentistry is all about. I will never avoid my dental health again. Thank God I found Drs. Morin and McGettrick before it was too late and before I had given up. Needless to say - I cant recommend them enough. I love my teeth!!! :)
