We have taken all three of our cats there over the past 4 years and up until now we had be satisfied. I have a year old runt cat, Nala. She snuck out when in heat and became pregnant. It was obvious that she was as her belly had been getting huge and when you put your hand on her belly you could feel them kick. I read somewhere online that runts often time have troubles during delivery because they are so little and more than likely she reproduced with a normal sized cat. Upon reading this I called to make an appointment to A.) confirm she was pregnant although it was obvious, B.) make sure her and the babies would be okay during delivery, and C.) find out how many she was having and exactly how far along. She was only a week or two away. Over the phone, making the appointment, we never even spoke of spaying or rather a "kittyabortion". When I picked her up from the vet I inquired about information about her babies and she told me "there are no babies." To say the least I am very upset. I told the lady this was not what I made my appointment for and I do not believe in abortion for humans or animals. As vets I would think that they are the animal lovers and if someone had come in there to get a "kitty abortion" youd think they would be the ones to try and talk a customer out of it! I had people who wanted these kitties. Im disgusted and angry. I am contacting PETA today. I do believe this was their way of "cat control". Its not right.

prices arent bad but some of the people are! we took our dog in because she ws sick and needed her shots, and they gave her some medicine and said she couldnt take the shots! people were very rude to us! when our card wasnt in file we had to call and they made us stay in a room where we couldnt get out or leave until we figured it out and they called my mom a liar when she said about the payment and held us in there and once we got the card from the COMPANY ITSELF she said well lets see if this is actually on and mid way through the call the person left for an "emergency situation" kinda funny right?! we payed an my mother said we wouldnt be back because of how rude they were and the person who was super rude said good we dont need you anyway! just so rude i would never recommend them to anyone! and the best part was after we left, we got a called from animals service about her after THEY wouldnt give her the shots!

My cat was due for her rabies. At the time I took her in I mentioned that she was having some sort of crud in her ear. I was told this was normal. Ten days later my cat could not walk well and stopped eating. When I took her back and was told she had a middle ear infection, They did not charge me for that visit and gave me some antibiotics. Three days later she still wasnt better. I took her back and they gave me anti-inflammatories. A few days after that her ear starting bleeding. I went back and they told me her tympanic membrane burst. Now she is having more discharge and I called this morning upset that this has been going on so long. I was told the Vet would call me back but she never did. I feel if they would have looked at the ear on the first visit, this would not be happening. I am taking her somewhere else!

Our cats and dogs have been TVH "clients" for 15+ years, and they get kind, professional treatment. Weve been through two pet deaths; both times Dr. E. Tritt and the staff were wonderfully compassionate. Currently we have two cats and two dogs, and they all get superb care at TVH. The exams and shots are done briskly with a lot of affection, so its less traumatic. The facility is lovely, with plenty of room for pets and their owners to sit apart from other owners, and the exam rooms are clean and easy to maneuver in. Once my dog got a wasp sting near her eye, and Dr. L. Tritt--who isnt even our regular vet--took the time to take my off-hours call and to give me great treatment advice. Id highly recommend TVH.

My experience with Tecumseh vet was amazing. Unfortunately, the reason I had to go there was horrible. I had to take my cat in because she wasnt eating or drinking and not herself. That was the beginning of January. She took a turn for the worse and I had to put her down just about two weeks after. The staff knew the reason why she was so important to me and how delicate of a situation it was and they handled this so gracefully and politely. I was (am) devastated that a part of my family is gone and they made a horrible situation barrable. Thank you so much to the staff and Vet!! I highly recommend Tecumseh Vet!!

I have been with TVH since 1998. I have developed a great level of trust with Dr Ed and his staff. Gina is wonderfully educated, patient, and always willingly to take the time to talk with me, and answer my questions over the phone or in person. I have moved to Mason almost three years ago, and I still drive int Tecumseh to vet with TVH. They have spared my oldest cats life several times who suffered with kidney/crystal issues, he is now 15:) They also saved my moms cat 16 years ago who was hit, and has "wires" in his legs, and still is alive at 17years old! Thank you TVH for all you do! Jacqui Hicks

This vet was the only one that would come to our home and help our 16 year old Border Collie cross the rainbow bridge. I understand why our regular vets couldnt -the group that owns their clinic will not let them make house calls. I think I must of called every vet in Lenawee county. It was very important to use that our old baby not have to pass with the smell of disinfectant and sights and sounds of a clinic around him. This vet was kind and respectful of our loss. Such a nice person. God bless her.

My experience with the Tritts and Tecumseh Veterinary Hospital are excellent. Overall, I give them at A+. The girls at the front desk are always friendly when youre coming to and leaving an appointment, its a very pleasant environment. I also have no question that they are giving my cats the best possible care either because they are all so knowledgeable. They always seem to handle everything I present to them. I would recommend them to anyone!

We had been taking our elderly fur baby there for a while now and loved it. We always received great care when she was sick or for basic, routine visits. Recently it was obvious that the end was near and the staff was amazing at getting us into their office in a timely manner (emergency!)
