Impeccable is truly an understatement, but its the only word that comes to my mind when typing this. Until January 2012, we had used another vet local to us in the North Hall area. Ive had my Cockapoo for 9 sweet years. In the middle of the night on January 3rd, she became stiff, paralyzed and unable to move. I was mortified. After a week of blood tests, xrays and tests out the yin-yang.....my vet said there was no hope for her, that her Hip Dysplasiawas was the cause of her pain. There was nothing he could do for her. He sent my husband and I away heartbroken. Her blood work was perfect. All her levels were great and her organs were all functioning properly. The only problem she had was Hip Dysplasia. I could NOT come to terms with the thought of putting her down. So, I reached out to social networking (facebook) and asked for referrals to get a 2nd opinion. Immediately, my post went crazy and I had 5-6 people shouting praises of Dr. Marie Lance. So, I started searching to see if she had a Facebook account and surely, there she was. I sent her a long, over worded email pleading for help; to save my girl. Two days later we were waiting in the lobby for our appointment. Long story short....my PREVIOUS vet had given her no hope and within 3 weeks, Dr. Lance and Davorin had my girl like a puppy again. Shes happier than before and feels great. The technology that they offer is untouched. The service they have is unbeatable. The staff is accommodating, friendly and sympathetic. Dr. Lance has a bedside manner like no other and truly cares for every animal that walks through they door as if it were her own. Davorin has a heart of gold and a mind that is overloaded with knowledge. I am so sad I didnt find the "family" of Lance Animal Hospital sooner. I am forever grateful for their kind, loving service and what theyve done for my Cockapoo. Theyve gained a client for life and a respect like no other. We ADORE the entire staff there. We were clients of Dr. Maries before she "made it"....she was very caring and personable and truly care about the animals; however, now that she has "made it", her concern is money and only the almighty dollar. She has worked with us and others in allowing clients to post date checks; however, that is no longer the case. Our cat has an urgent issue, his head is cocked to the right side and his eye is swollen shut. Due to our medical need at the same time, we asked for a 2 week post date (as opposed to our normal 1 month)....oh no!!!! How dare we ask that! She tried to force us to get a Care Credit charge card - we dont do credit cards. Her staff is unbelievable! I had to call 4 times before anyone would even speak to me. I spoke to Rebekkah and Heather. Rebekkah was too lazy to take a message, so I had to call back. I even left a message for the office administrator, but of course, no answer. AFter 3 days, Dr. Marie finally called back - very hatefully, there is no telling what Rebekkah told her, cause at first Rebekkah would not even have her call me, so I was quite shocked when she did. I am very saddened that she has turned this way. They will also try to gouge you with every test known to man kind. When I asked her what the treatment would be without the test, she said "the same"....and I said if we did the test? again, the same! I cut one bill from a possible $600 to only $200 (which we post dated for 1 month!) Be careful when going there or you will be in debt with unnecessary tests and surprise charges. We will, unfortunately, be taking our 5 dogs, and 4 cats to another vet.

Ive been going to Dr. Marie and to her staff pretty much since she was first getting started I believe back in 2009. She is the only Vet I trust with my dogs and will only trust with my dogs as long as I live here. She saved my dogs life back in 2010 when he was attacked by another dog and had severe scares and bites that had to be stiched up and drains put in. Both my dogs absolutely luv her and the place, its weird cause they know where we are going and where we are when we get there and they dont mind. Since 2009 they have extended their services and added Holistic Health and Natural Healing for the animals. In combination with Natural Healing and what you do with your body physically, you have to be aware of you put into your body and also your animals. Lance Animal Hospital also can supply you and your animals with the BEST water you can ever drink, its called KANGEN WATER!!!! My pet rat was sick and I needed to find a vet that would work her in quickly. I was recommend by my vet that did not treat rats to Lance Animal Hospital. I am so happy to have found them! They took such wonderful care of my little Olive and had me bring her in right away. Everyone on staff was so friendly and showed such care for my little girl. They were just as concerned as I was, going well beyond my expectations. I have already told my friends what great service and care they give. I would highly recommend them to everyone. They have great people and all the equipement for excellent care. Olive recieved and X-ray and also spent dome time in an oxygen chamber since she was having trouble breathing. They kept her all day and called me with updates. Since we have been home they have kept in touch to see how she is doing. I just cannot say enough to praise them, I appreciate everything they did and are willing to do. They are great people.

Lance Animal Hospital is nothing short of absolutely amazing. I have been to several animal hospitals (both in GA and my new location in SC), but none compare. I currently live in Charleston, SC and my parents live in Atlanta, and I will gladly make the drive down, so my dog can get his vet care here. They not only offer the standard veterinary treatments, but also have additionally methods (lasers, acupuncture, etc.) to offer the latest and best possible treatments for your dog. My dog had blockage from eating a rawhide bone made in China, and after his treatment at Lance he was immediately better. They explained everything to me and explained what they recommend and the best approach to take. My dog was a new dog the next morning. With the lasers and acupuncture treatment, he was able to get rid of the blockage himself, instead of having surgery. So thankful for Lance Animal Hospital and will only come here now.

I met Marie Garlo-Lance while employed with an animal clinic. Her moral ethics and passion about her chosen career path can be seen in the enthusiasm, compassion and care she shows while attending ones pet. Whether it be equine, dog, cat or other furry creature, you can tell when in her presence that she is doing what she was destined to do, veterinary medicine. Marie also takes the time to listen, but can and will act fast in emergency situations while maintaining a calm collectedness for the benefit of the owner and the pet itself. She has this beautiful new clinic and an outstanding staff. It was her dream to have her on clinic. I am certain Marie she put every thought into the detail and placement of equipment so that it would be the most benfical to the needs of the pets she is caring for. We will become new clients there next week and are thrilled to have this Veterinarian on this side of town.
