Absolutely love Dr. Kurt. So personable and so knowledgeable. Not only does he exhibit great care for my fur babies, but seemed genuinely concerned about my emotional distress for them as well. The staff is wonderful. My reason for leaving Oakwood Animal long ago was because of a time factor. I would be there for 2+ hours just for routine checkups. It was very disorganized and much of the front desk staff were rude and impersonal. Seems everything has changed. :) Dr. Mary was always my choice and I love her dearly and would always approve of her caring for my babies. The reason I am with Dr. Kurt now is that when I returned with my sick cat, he was the one I saw. His bedside manner, knowledge and advice were superior to any I have experienced. He and Dr. Mary make a GREAT team. Im so glad to be back and have already been recommending your facility to all my pet loving friends.

I was looking for a new Vet & saw all the great reviews so I thought I would give them a try. I called & they could see my kitty the very next day. The staff are all very friendly and we love Dr. Mary. They treated my kitty like a princess & she seemed very comfortable with them. She got an exam & her vaccinations. Later that day she started non stop vomiting which concerned me. I called them about 10 minutes before closing to see if this was normal from the shots. They told me no & that she was probably having a reaction to the leukemia shot. They told me to come on & they would wait for us to get there. Can you believe this? They treated her & now she is doing great. I cant thank them enough for going above & beyond to take care of my kitty. This is now my forever Vet.

Dr. Mary and the staff at OAH took great care of my Pearl when she was sick. They gave me detailed instructions on how to care for her when I got home, did an excellent job of caring for her when she was there and gave me updates to ease my nerves. The staff at this facility really cares about the pet AND the owner and sincerely wants whats in the best interest of my little friend. They didnt overcharge or fluff my bill, were very knowledgeable about the services and were very accommodating. They send us a personalized mailer when its time to go for a checkup, which I appreciate. I feel very confident in trusting them to care for her. Thanks for checking up on Pearl today, ladies! Shes doing great and back to her happy self again!

Took my cat in to get her annual shots. She came out with fleas. I tried taking care of it on my own with some leftover Revolution, and confronted them a few weeks later once I killed the fleas. They denied it was their fault and said it was MY fault, and the fleas probably latched on my clothes. No, Ive had my beautiful cat for three years and she is an indoor cat only and I have no other pets. Shes never had a problem before. The morning after I took her to the vet I notice fleas. At least own up that you messed up and dont blame your paying customer. And then when I asked if they have flea combs they said Id have to buy one at PetSmart. Thanks for nothing, Oakwood Animal Hospital.

Dr Leone went way beyond, what any other vet would do, when trying to find out why my cat kept throwing up and eventually stopped eating. She did blood work, xrays and ended up doing emergency surgery at 8:30 on a Saturday night in order to try and save my cat. She called me repeatedly to keep me updated on how the surgery was going and also afterwards. Even after my cat came home she would call to make sure everything was going okay. I would not even consider going to another animal hospital and I now consider Dr Leone a friend as well as my vet. I highly recommend Oakwood Animal Hospital and Dr. Christina Leone.

We had an emergency situation one day that brought us to oakwood animal hospital with one of our dogs. Since that day we now drive 45 minutes whenever we need to go to a vet just to see doctor Mary. She is an incredible human being with a heart of gold. She performed a flawless pyometra surgery on our little girl and since then has continuously showed compassion and care for our animals, not just the day of surgery but above and beyond care. I know I am ranting but I cannot express enough how much love i have for this place and not just Dr. Mary but the entire OAH staff. Bless all of you!

I have used Oakwood Animal Hospital for my dog since her first visit as a 4 week old abandoned puppy. Both Dr. Kurt and his staff were very helpful in explaining to me how to care for such a young puppy. I have stuck with OAH since that first visit as a new pet owner, and have always felt that the doctors and staff genuinely cared about the health of my pet. I definitely have to say that I have received affordable vet care, friendly service, and genuine care and compassion for both my beloved pet and myself on each visit and would, in fact have recommended them to family and friends.

The staff was very friendly and shared a proactive approach to the overall health of our dog. Being the owner of a shy, English Bulldog I was apprehensive to put him through the process of using a new Veterinarian. I was very pleased at how the technicians and staff immediately put him at ease and gained his trust. We went in for relief of a dry eye (tear duct removal as a puppy). During the visit I was given a great overview of how to keep my dog healthy and common health risks of english bulldogs. I will definitely continue to take my baby to this doggie doctor!

Our family recently relocated to Georgia and was looking for a vet for our babies. I started looking online and saw Oakwood Animal Hospital had 5 stars from EVERYONE! So naturally I had to see for myself. Let me tell you, I absolutely love Dr. Mary and all of the staff at this facility. They are all so nice and loving towards all of your pets, oh and also my 5 yr old son who thinks he should work there. We currently live in Flowery Branch, and no matter where we moved, I would drive here. Did I say that I LOVE Dr. Mary? :)

Liked Dr. Kurt and staff when we took four of our cats to Oakwood for annual vaccinations. Six months later, Dr. Kurt saved one of a pair of kittens that had been dumped in our neighborhood (guess who adopted them?) He is now treating one of our dogs, 11 year old Sam, who has arthritis in his shoulder. Dr. Kurt is an excellent vet and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent staff, friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere. I know when I take my pets here that they will be given the best care available. I have a chihuahua and a pit boxer, and I wouldnt trust them to anyone else!! I recommend this animal hospial to anyone that wants the best for their pet.I am and will continue using them for all of my pet needs as should you!!
