I have taken my pets here before multiple times for basic procedures (spaying/neutering, declawing), but when I had an emergency, I realized this clinic may not be the best place for my pet. First, I left a voicemail for them to call me back as soon as possible because they are only open 8-5 mon-fri, no big deal, I understand working hours. I never received a callback, and had to call them back after waiting and my cat getting worse. When Desiree came on the phone, I reminded her of my name and pets name, and that I had requested a callback, and hadnt heard anything back yet. She asked me if it was an emergency, and I told her that yes, it was, which is why I left a voicemail after hours requesting a callback as soon as possible. She had the audacity to tell me that I didnt state that I had an "emergency" and that they didnt think it was that big of a deal. I tried to brush that off and told her that I was under the assumption that a callback request would be met right away anyway, especially if the message requested it be addresses AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, but it didnt matter now, I just needed help for my pet. She continued with her poor customer service by demanding I tell her what the issue is already, so she can help me. I then asked to speak to someone else because she was being rude, and she told me "you as well." I want to make it clear that I was handling everything professionally, and it was her lack of sympathy and the micromanaging over my voicemail that finally made me request a different customer service representative. Desiree put me on hold for 5 minutes, and I finally hung up and called again, and got a different representive. This scenario alone was aggravating and already making me reconsider who I take my pets to, but I knew that sometimes customer service doesnt represent quality of care and knowledge, so I disregarded it. It was when the other representative told me what they were going to do with my cat that I decided I no longer need to go to this vet. The night before I had called an emergency clinic for some advice until I got my cat in for an appointment with his regular vet, and he said if I were to visit him right now, my cat would have x-rays, to examine his chest to make sure that was not the issue, then bloodwork would be done to check for any intestinal irritants, which is what it sounded like to him. When I asked Peach Verterinary Care how long the appointment would be and what kind of work would be done for my cat, she told me that the vet would look at him and see if he seemed okay. I asked about bloodwork or xrays being a possibility, and she told me that they would not do that for my cat because if the vet doesnt see anything wrong with him initially, they arent going to go through all that extra work. This is what set my decision for different veterinary care, because I dont care how much of a professional you are, you cannot always just look at things on the surface and know whats going on. I know that if I were to go in there, my pet would sit in the back room (because Im not allowed to go back there at all or talk to the vet) just long enough to get looked at, with no tests being done, and then sent home after blaming it on something that he ate. No thank you, I am very attached to my cat, and take his health seriously.

I have been taking my dogs here for years, but recently the place has gotten horrible. I was 10 mins late because I live 30 mins away. When I first got there Desiree said you are extremely late you will have to wait. I didnt mind waiting it was the manner in-which she said it. Desiree was extremely rude. One of dogs gets to excited when he is there. Only when he is there!!! He pulls on his leach and coughs. The Desiree asked me if he normally does that . I told her no, only when he is there! She refused to listen to me ! Then waited for my mom to come into ask her the same question. My mom told her no just like I did! Granted Im 26 and fully responsible for my dogs. The only reason why my mom was there, because we need her car to fit my dogs in. Then Desiree told me my dog was contagious, so she to had to take him back immediately. My fiancé went with him as I held my other two dogs. My fiancé then came out and told me they check him for being contagious which all the test come back negative. He results came back very healthy. Like I told the lady. Then I took my other two back. A little dog that I was holding and a lab on a leash. We get in the room where they got my lab ready. Then I asked them about the dog I was holding. They didnt even notice or care about the little dogs appointment. It was too much of a bother to get the small dogs paperwork done, since they clearly forgot her appointment. When it was time to pay Desiree ask if I was paying. I told her my mom and I were splitting then bill. I would go ahead and pay my half. She didnt even acknowledge my response to splitting the bill. She came from behind the counter walked to the door. She told my mom, she needed her in there immediately. My mom and I were clearly pissed at this point. My mom came into pay her half. My mom insisted to remind the Desiree all 3 of dogs should be in my name, because I am their owner. My mom told her all questions about the dogs should be referred to me. My mom paid her half then left with the dogs. I was there paying the other half, and she continued to be extremely rude to me. She treated as if I was a dog!!! The prices arent bad, but I will be looking for another vet, because I refuse to be treated in the matter I was treated today.

I only went to this vet because one of the kittens that was brought to my house by my husband had a respiratory infection that was so bad he couldnt eat. Upon entering (which I was about 8 minutes late, Im not perfect), the receptionist takes me back, asks the general questions, I inform her the last time this kitten most definitely consumed something instead of choking it back up because he was breathing out of his mouth was 6:30 AM (this is 2:50 PM), that two of them were brought to me with severe conjunctivitis, and that they were being fed by bottle with kitten formula because wet food was too much for either of them (one refused it, and the other was previously eating it until he couldnt breath and therefore had a hard time eating at all). So next the techs come in, I inform them of the same thing, they weigh him, hes malnourished (which anyone could have guessed for both of them because these are in fact abandoned stray cats). Then in comes Giles, blazing, tells me the kittens temperature is 92 degrees & he is already on his way out. She then proceeds to berate me & talk down to me in regards to feeding them every 2-3 hours (which I feel at this point I should mention I was doing, because this is not my first rodeo with an abandoned stray that was malnourished, my husband has a problem with picking these up at work), I shouldnt be keeping them in the AC, especially with them being sick (she assumes this on her own) & that there is basically no hope for this kitten. The only thing I corrected her on was the AC issue, as these kittens have been situated on a screen porch the entire time they have been at my house SPECIFICALLY so they can be in the heat, other than that I was not willing to give her the verbal battle she was obviously pursuing. She then levels out briefly to tell me the best she can do is give me an antibiotic for him and some eye ointment for the conjunctivitis & storms out. No time for questions from the humans that bring the animals in I suppose. As a final note, the kitten is recovered, and Ill be naming him Ghost based on your "professional" opinion that he was on his way out and there was no hope for him. Thanks for the medicine as that seems to be all the good you were for.
