I recently adopted a new puppy and chose this location because it is close to home. I called in asking a few questions about what care that was given to him, and JODY answered the phone and stated "I wasnt here yesterday so I dont know." I asked for the vet and she WOULD NOT allow me to speak with them! JODY then gave me an attitude over the phone... Today, I missed a call from the pet hospital, I call back and JODY answered the phone and I stated if it is Jody, I would not like to speak with you and she stated "Well I feel the same way!" I would not want to speak with someone who wont research or ask the vet what was or wasnt done to my new fur baby whether or not if they were present that day. There are records kept for that reason, which is why I wanted to speak to the vet since they were the ones giving care to my new fur baby. I am shocked at the lack of customer service at this location! I wont recommend this location if you would like an update or know what was done to your furry friend.

Our little chihuahua was attacked by another dog while we were at our lake house in SC. We took him to Banfield there because we knew there was one near us at home and thought it would be easy to work with both offices. NOT!!!! One of his sutures came out on day 2 after attack and a $600 bill and the Banfield in Buford wanted to charge me a new office visit plus full price to fix a suture that I believe was not done well. (The dog is barely moving, so I am not buying that he untied it...) They seem to only care about the money and not the animals. I had no problem paying to have it fixed (even though again I dont feel it was his fault) but the fact that they wanted to charge a new office visit AND not cut me any breaks was just unreal! Banfield is Banfield, right?

Do your pet a favor and never take them to this location. Worst customer service ever. The name of the lady at the front desk was Michelle. She was rude and refused to let us see the doctor. I drove 45min to get to that location. My appointment was at 3:30pm. I was at the lobby by 3:37pm and was waiting to checkin because Michelle was busy with someone else. By the time my turn came, it was 3:43pm and she told me that I was more than 10min late and I cannot see the Vet. This is ridiculous for 2 reasons - 1) They never told us about the 10min policy when I made the appointment 2) That policy does not apply to me before I was there within the 10min buffer. I have called the client advocacy group at Banfield and filed a complaint against her.

The lack of customer service is appalling! The nurses and even being checked in the people were so rude! Something was wrong with out account due to their mistake and they had the audacity to say you are holding up the line! They were rude the next day when I had to bring my other cat. Standing in line I also witnessed other customers upset about one thing or another. The nurses decided to whisper to each other while staring at me! I was so disgusted by there service and lack of compassion. I love my animals and want them to be cared for with true meaning. I have been to other locations that were wonderful. I will never come back to this location and do not recommend it to anyone. The woman named Judy was especially rude.

I recently noticed my cat has breathing problems and immediately took my him over to Banfield. I was worried because Ive been told not to go there, but things turned out great. I didnt have an appointment but they managed to squeeze me in and even gave me a free exam since its my first visit. We got to see Dr. Handford, who was amazing with my furchild. My kitty got through the exams with no hiccups and even got to make new friends. He went back the day after for some x-rays, and they even gave him a little ball to take home with him. He seems pretty happy being there and the staff treated him perfectly. Im beyond happy with bringing my baby there.

Singed up for a cat wellness plan. They dont tell you that you can cancel in 4 days for full refund, and in 90 days to cancel the remaining plan without pay. Also, when I wanted to cancel after 90 days, they said to keep the plan is cheaper than paying for all the services received. All the services received did not add up to what they said it was but they confuse you with the terms they use, wouldnt go over each service to give exact price, then you get transferred, then no one wants to talk to you, and you just go in circles.... Will never go back again.

Front desk staff is rude, vet and assistant are less than friendly. Felt like all they wanted was my money. Was told the cost would be one thing then ended up Paying over $100 over what they had said for things that I would have thought were part of the office visit. Way over priced here especially for the service you get. Felt like the vet spent no time looking at my pet and was judgmental if I didnt choose a service she wanted me to choose. I obviously will go somewhere where they are more passionate about the pets they see come in their office.

Very disappointed with their service. They bully you into signing up for their saving plan, which by the way doesnt seem to cover all that much. You are still forced to pay a lot out of pocket. The wait times are completed out of control. The last two exams, I was there for over 4 hours waiting for the services I pay 26.00 a month for. It seems to be just the one doctor who has time management issues and that is Dr. Youngblood. Dont waste your time going here. Find some place else that will treat you better.

I decided to take my dog there on a Saturday because I had just found a second tick on my son. My regular vet was closed and I wanted to get rid of all the ticks.I waited for an hour before the nurse even came in the room. Then I waited 20 more minutes until finally I left. HORRIBLE service, unfriendly nurse, and they did nothing to keep me as a customer. According to other Internet reviews about them, they pretty much suck all over the world.

I cant believe people feel so bad about them. I have used them in 3 different states, they saved two of my dogs from being given the wrong dosage of vaccines at Petco, almost died. I was able to get them in without an appointment. One of my dogs has a thyroid condition and they figured out the right dosage for him. I think they are the best. If your complaining about waiting, that happens everywhere, emergencies go first.

I have been a customer of Banfield pet hospital since 2011 and for some reason customer service at this location has been horrible for the past few months!!! I dont understand what has been going on but they need to fix it fast ...I have never dealt with so many issues and Samantha was beyond rude!!!! I love the doctor at this location but the office staff needs training in customer service!!!!!
