Im torn between one star and two stars, but I wont ever take my puppy back there, so Im sticking with one. The good part about this clinic is that the doctor there, Robert Hall, knew his stuff and (I believe) correctly diagnosed my pup. With that said, everyone else in that entire place should be fired and replaced. The receptionist was rude and treated my animal like she had the plague (she was diagnosed with sarcoptic mange, which granted is contagious--if you hold the dog for prolonged periods of time, not if you "Pet her and then touched my hair"). Anyway, more importantly, the vet assistant riled up my THREE MONTH OLD dog, and then when she started nipping at her hand, she decided she needed to alpha roll her--REALLY? My pup is a rescue dog, and this experience has seriously backtracked our progress. Im not going to the vet to get training advice, I am going there to get my dog treated. I discussed this experience with my trainer (owner of 8 and frequent foster owner, with 27 years of training experience) and she completely agreed with me. Ive had this dog for less than a week. No, we dont need to alpha dominate her. Dr. Hall, you obviously are knowledgeable and you care about your patients, but youll have to fire your staff before I bring my pup back to that place.

My daughter brought her little guy here 2 days after Thanksgiving, 2016. He was a 13 yr old Chihuahua who was treated like her child. He started having seizures and that day had several that morning. She and her husband brought Baxter here with the intent in having to put him to sleep. He kept having the seizures while there. They at the vet for I am uncertain why decided to do bloodwork, bruising his legs till they were black and blue. They then inserted a catheter for some unknown reason since he had already urinated on my daughter. While my daughter was holding him they administered the euthanasia drug without a sedative. My daughter had to hold him while he cried and flopped around. These are the last images she has of her best friend. She is still having nightmares of this traumatic episode. I can only pray this doesnt happen to anyone else.

I feel they really care about the animals. They told me my dog needed acupuncture. I was willing to try this because I love my baby. I was told the price of the 1st treatment and evaluation would be $95.00 and each additional treatment would be $45.00. These prices were given to me by Dr. Douglas. She explained that the treatments were to be done by Dr. Roper. I had 2 treatments done for my Toby and when I went to pay instead of paying $90.00 as I was told my total was $155.00. I questioned the reason why it was more and the lady at the desk told me she would talk to Dr. Roper and credit my card the difference. Its been over a week and nothing has been done. I have called multiple times and no one will return my call. Since my review they refunded me my money.

We recently brought home a new puppy. She is so cute and we love her. However just after getting her it was clear that she didnt feel good and that something was wrong. We took her to Browns Bridge Animal Hospital to have her seen and the staff were amazing. They explained everything that was going on and went through all of our options. They couldnt have been more thorough which I sincerely appreciated. Overall I am very happy we decided to take her here. She is one hundred percent better thanks to the caring staff at this office. I highly recommend them to everyone.

This morning, we called around because our dog had an ear infection. We priced several places and Browns Bridge Animal Hospital seemed to be fairly priced and reasonable. However, when we were handed the bill, it was double the cost they originally stated. I understand that the doctor needs to see what theyre dealing with, but not once did they discuss extra costs. Then, when I complained about it costing so much, I was treated with such disregard. Anna was completely unhelpful. Customer service is definitely not their priority.

my dog died sat :-( i took him to BBAH about 2 month ago he had a lump on his side after examining him, xraying him an asperation the lump an( 175.oo later) i was told it was a hematona an he be fine. he steadly got worse not eating an very lethargic, so i took him to another vet they also took xrays, said he very anemic an he had final stage cancer (it was what i suspected when i took him to BBAH} they said it inoperable an we just need to make him comfortable he was not in pain. how can a dr. misdiagnose such a condition?

Weve taken our pets to Browns Bridge Animal Hospital for several years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone there are always cheerful and very helpful. Our dog has phobias and is not a good patient and they take their time and make sure he is ready for them to do what they need to do. They also explained to me what I can do to help him get ready for them. This is an excellent place to take your pets. And the prices wont kill your bank account either. They have the best prices in Gainesville and surrounding area.

I used BBAH for over three years and was quite happy there. Dr. Hall was there when I first started using this facility. Dr. Roper became the managing vet and the great care continued for awhile. Then this facility decided to chase the money that could be made with acupuncture and naturopathy. There is no scientific evidence that either of these methods have any medical value. I left. I do hope that the quality of care has returned for the clients that still choose to take their pets there.

Clermont vet on cleveland highway told me my dogs heartworm test showed up positive and quoted me 1000 dollars to treat him. Browns bridge tested once and confirmed with a separate test that he did not have them. They saved my little buddys life and my wallet too. If I had done what clermont vet suggested the treatment would have killed my dog for sure. I will never trust them again. Browns bridge are my heroes and I love them. Especially Dr. Roper, she rocks! :)

We have been with Browns Bridge for many years now. There were some up and down times while there were owner changes, but they are absolutely fabulous now. Dr. Roper is so wonderful to work with. She was so very, very kind to us when we had to euthanize our much loved dog last year, and is just as kind now to our new puppy. The staff is great. I love that they are willing to help us find more holistic care for our puppy. I would recommend them to anyone.

My dog had to be euthanized recently. He lived in Gainesville with my father, and had to be put down last saturday. The office usually closes at noon, but since they knew that I was driving from Midtown to Gainesville, they waited until I got there to put my pup down. They wanted me to be able to say good bye to him. I found that extremely nice since they were not even our regular vet office. Thank you to all the staff for your compassion.
