Stay away and find other care providers! These people should not be licensed to practice medicine given how they treat patients. While the staff at this dental office couldnt have been more (superficially) courteous, they made sure that every reason I had for visiting them was their absolute last concern. Besides rescheduling my first appointment the minute I walked in the door (and lying to me at the same time that they had been trying to contact me before that - not true at all), they then completely ignored some very painful issues. They found out I had a free cleaning through my insurance, so promptly proceeded to do that instead of treating my problematic areas. I was then subjected to an HOUR of dental infomercials in person, as while the dental assistants did the cleaning they wouldnt stop talking about a bunch of expensive dental procedures that they would do to me without any medical need or interest on my part. Did I ask about orthodontics? No! How about you clean my mouth like youre being paid to do! In the end, after the dentist did a general exam and glossed over the excruciatingly painful swelling around one tooth, I made a point to ask them if they were going to do anything about the issues or address the reasons I came in to see them that day. The doctor outright REFUSED. They didnt even clean that spot, no anesthetic or pain reliever, no advice. Just instructions to come in and get some extra services later that I didnt ask for. By the way, I was in so much pain that I couldnt eat for days at a time. What did they do in the end to address what I and my insurance was paying them to do? "You dont have an infection, so were going to prescribe you some penicillin." (again: "You DONT have an infection...") Lets help to let tuberculosis kill us all by over-prescribing antibiotics irresponsibly! The following week (meaning I suffered with the problems for another week) I had another dentist do the job. Cleaned the problem areas thoroughly, made a diagnosis after reasonable exams, prescribed appropriate medicine, and assessed followup concerns. The problems were gone the next day once the inflammation receded, and I was able to eat again.

They display great bedside manner, however, pricing is very high. I have dual insurance and they exhausted it very quickly by scheduling multiple appointments for a procedure that could have been completed in one or two visits. They stretched everything out so they could bill the insurance multiple times. Beware of this office and their dishonest business practices!!!. Also, on my last visit, they told me they "soak up" any fees remaining that my insurance did not cover because they had exhausted it for the year. Over 2 months later, when they called to schedule a cleaning. At this time I expressed my displeasure with the service, how I was treated and notified them I would not be returning. They then sent me a bill for fees they said they would not charge me for. BEWARE! I have talked to other people from my job and they have had the same problems. And by the way, I have since gone to another dentist office in the area for the SAME services on a different tooth and they completed all procedures in TWO appointments, while Washtenaw Dental Assoc. had me come in over FOUR times, and still had not completed the process. I feel cheated and will tell everyone I know of these unfair business practices!

The people are nice like salesman. They want to sell you everything even if you dont need it. Make sure youre clear when you go in for a cleaning that you just want a cleaning and nothing else. Because theyll charge you for the doctor to just look in your mouth. I would get a second opinion if they say all of your fillings need to be replaced. You cant trust what they say because they just want to make a dollar. Even the receptionist will talk to you about teeth whitening or cosmetic surgery. They want you to get x-rays even if you dont need it, just a bill your insurance company. Places like this is why rates are so high.

I have been a patient of Dr. Donohos for 20 years. He is the only Dentist that I have trusted for my family and me. Dr. Donoho has skillfully reconstructed my front teeth and gave me a smile I am proud to share. When it comes to cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions and cosmetic work…he is your go to guy. The office environment is inviting, modern and clean. He and his staff have been great over the years, both professional and personal. The team at Washtenaw Dental is the best and friendliest around!

Washtenaw Dental Associates is a warm environment with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Theyll answer all your questions and help you with whatever you need fixed. The anesthetic shots Dr. Donoho provides are painless! Seriously.... painless!! Dr. Donoho takes his time and makes sure you are completely comfortable and happy with the work done. Ive also had my teeth professionally whitened there and my smile looks AMAZING! I couldnt recommend a better dental office to go to!

I am impressed. From the moment I walked in the door at Washtenaw Dental Associates, I felt welcomed. I was very comfortable in having my teeth cleaned by Alyssa, but then had to have some work done. I was apprehensive but I was shocked to be treated with such care. I never felt the needle and Dr. Donoho made sure I was comfortable through the entire process. I have recommended this dental office to all of my friends and family. I wont go anywhere else.

I have nothing but great things to say about Washtenaw Dental. I was new here and the staff made me feel comfortable and they were very knowledgeable. I had a good experience with getting my teeth cleaned and getting my wisdom teeth out. I even received a call the day after my teeth were extracted to see how I was doing. The staff seem to go above and beyond. I would recommend this office to friends or my co-workers.

another insulting dentistry office. they hate poor ppl just like the majority. You better have amazing high priced dental insurance if you want good service that you can trust. If youre poor; you better wait till you are almost dying from infection and go to the emergency room then stiff the system for the bill. These dentists should be boycotted for their insurance discrimination.

I had put off getting dental work for many years due to bad experiences. Dr. Donoho and his team did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable. I didnt know it was possible to get a shot without feeling it!!! Even when I took my kids in for some work, they told me they did not feel it when he gave them a shot. We will definitely be back for many years to come.

Love this office. I started going here years ago. Took my kids to see Dr. Donoho and now they take their kids. Dr. Donoho is honest, kind and pain free. His shots are really painless. That is one reason why we like him so well. He always takes his time with us and answers all our questions. I would recommend him to anyone.

What an amazing experience! Not only do I go there for all my dental stuff, but I went to their open house and won a botox treatment (which had me extremely nervous), but the procedure was painless and they were very gentle! I am glad I found them and will definitely be keeping them!
