Today I called to ask about LASIK. I reached an automated message and then was transferred when I pressed the correct number. I reached a female representative who then transferred me again when I said I was looking into getting LASIK. I was then transferred again by another staff member who wanted me to speak to someone specific about getting the procedure. I then reached the voicemail of someone who wasnt available to speak to me about the generals of getting LASIK. I left a voicemail telling them Id be leaving a review on their services up to this point. Conclusion: What service? *UPDATE The staff at NW Eye Clinic tried desperately to reach me. They responded personally to my online review and even tracked down my phone number and left me a voicemail, profusely apologizing for the runaround I received and promised better service. The reps were very sincere and they chalked it up to the holidays and a skeleton staff. I respect how they handled the situation, however within minutes after this experience, I scheduled an exam for the very next day, passed it with flying colors, and set a date to get LASIK in four business days through LASIK PLUS of Edina. Im not sure what Ill be missing through NW Eye, but I have a feeling it was definitely good customer care.

When has anyone ever said that going to the doctor "made their day"? Well, the experience I had at the Golden Valley Northwest Eye Clinic did exactly that! The caring interest of Katie on the phone for my dilemma in breaking a contact lens, Samanthas ability to get me in to see Ashlee and Dr. Bongard asap as my prescription had expired, and then, the professional service of Samantha in getting a replacement all combined to "make my day" two mornings in a row! The entire staff goes above and beyond in taking a personal interest in the patients needs and making each individual feel important. They are truly an amazing team! You leave their care smiling for the rest of the day!

Bummed by old doctor had left the clinic, but saw Dr. Peterson, who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Both the nurse and him took the time to answer all my questions (and boy do I have a lot of questions). The facility is great too! The waiting room and place to pick out glasses is spacious and a fun layout. A lady helped me learn how to pick out the perfect fitting rims as well (I narrowed it down to 2 from 12) and still kind of feel bad that I didnt end up buying them, but she didnt mind!

After researching other Lasik Clinics and talking with many people about their Lasik surgeries I knew I picked the right clinic, Northwest Eye of Golden Valley. Kathryn Rivard and the rest of the staff were so pleasant to work with, Dr. Berestka was very patient and thorough throughout my entire process. I do recommend Northwest Eye and I will be returning for any future needs.

Saw Dr. Mundahl last week. Ive been going to her for years and she always is very professional, has a great disposition, is a good listener and I appreciate she continues to keep my vision sharp. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Also, great a staff and comfortable surroundings at Northwest Eye.

I would not say I had a great experience. Some of the staff is more interested in being angry about things I cant control than educating me. They never did the air blow test or sight line test. After they dilated my pupils I was essentially blinded for the next 4 hours.
