What all dentist offices should aspire to become: -Upon scheduling an appointment an e-mail was sent confirming the appointment with the option to update forms effortlessly online -Received tactful and efficient follow up until the hour of my appointment -Upon arrival I was greeted by Molly who confirmed easy registration and the comfortable waiting room was clean didnt leave me waiting long -After the short wait was greeted by Cyndi who provided quick, easy, painless x-ray using cool and blood pressure using cool late model tech -Cleaning was a breeze and Cyndi was personable, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about providing the best possible service -After the cleaning, Ayesha carefully and thoroughly went over x-rays and provided educated and detailed analysis while showing first hand on-screen and then physical inspection If youre looking for a step above the rest for your dentistry; I recommend giving Progressive Dental a try.. or maybe not - it would be nice to keep this hidden gem a secret.

My husband and I just took our 3 kids to Progressive Dental for their first visit, not really sure how it was going to go. Dr. Downs and her team were absolutely amazing with my children. The staff didnt get impatient with them, but slowly lead them over to the chair and made it go up and down; showing them all the really cool gadgets. The kids did great and I have no doubt it was mostly because Dr.Downs and her team are just really good with kids. I will be taking them back there for sure! I myself have gone in for two check-ups which have both been a really good experience. Again, a super nice staff, cleanliness was an A+, parking was a breeze, and Dr. Downs delicate little fingers in my mouth makes me wonder how I ever had some mans big hairy hands in there rooting around! Im seriously so comforted knowing we have a new family dentist who couldnt be better.

I was visiting from out of town and here for my work conference. Came in here with a broken tooth(cap) . Extreme emergency as I had just 3 days here . From the time I walked in I was put at ease and taken right away by the front staff and introduced me to an even friendly Doctor Downs. I expected them to stick it back in with some super glue or something but after a consultation I was told I could have a brand new tooth put in , in just about a couple of hours.... Doctor Downs is awesome and her dental hygienist , front staff and everybody I interacted with was just awesome. An extremely clean environment and state of the art equipment, I must say if I ever had a dental need, and if I was around here, I would come here and recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thank you Dr Downs for making my conference a success.

Actually the worst dentist Ive ever been to. The staff were friendly and nice; however, I still have pain months after them "fixing" my cavities. The worst thing is, they destroyed half of my tooth removing the cavity, and when they rebuilt it, they left a huge gap that wasnt there before between the teeth, my gum gets infected now from food being jammed in-between where this never happened before I came here. (There never was this large gap) Im extremely dissatisfied and Ill never come back, because Im scared they will just mess up my teeth more. Thought Id warn everyone, since a lot of these google reviews dont seem to elaborate on the quality of the work they did in the mouth. See a more experienced dentist. Most of the google reviews here are faked accounts.

You should see my face. I am 57 years old and after looking in the mirror the past couple months I decided it was time to try a little botox. Dr. Downs was professional, calm, and funny too! At first my hands and even my legs were dripping with sweat because I was so nervous. But within minutes I was relaxed because I could see that I was in good hands. Day after my first botox - I look natural, and not plastic like I was worried I might. My skin kind of glows and I look 10 years younger. My forehead and 11 line feel completely normal - my girls are freeekin out they are so happy for me! Thank you Dr. Downs - you made this Gramma very, very happy!

Had a painful wisdom tooth that needed immediate extraction. I recently moved to the Shakopee area and hadnt established a connection with a dentist yet so I was in a mad search for somebody with a pliers and novacaine. I ran across Progressive Dental on a google search and after calling them up they had my pesky tooth laying on a tray next to me within the hour. I was very impressed with how attentive they were and helping me out in a tough situation. The whole staff is super friendly and fun to work with.

I havent been to a dentist for a long time and needed a lot of work, and it had to be done quickly before my wedding. To add to that, I developed a severe toothaches that was unbearable. Dr. Downs took care of everything that was visible and the tooth pain in one very long visit for me! I was very afraid of the dentist previously, but after going to see her, Im not anymore, she is awesome and even though I had two root canals, I had no pain whatsoever! Highly recommend!!!

I was having a tooth ache and called Progressive Dental at 9am because my normal dentist did not have any openings for a few days. They scheduled me a appointment ASAP and I was in office by 9:30. I received a full cleaning, x-rays, needed a filling replaced and was walking out as good as new in no time! Dr. Downs was friendly and comforting through the entire process and my new filling turned out perfect! I would highly recommend Progressive Dental to anyone in the area!

Wonderful staff, service, and environment. I couldnt ask for a more professional and outstanding group of individuals to trust my oral health to. I make it a priority to come back every 6 months just to have my annual exam here. Dr. Downs is also wonderful and incredibly talented. I was very impressed at my first visit. The new office is beautiful with state-of- the-art equipment - they have thought of eveything to make your experience a positive one. Friendly, professional, staff and dentist. Dr. Downs and staff go out of their way to make you feel at ease and not self conscious or embarrassed no matter the situation. She goes out of her way for her patients. I could share numerous stories but I hope my five stars and referrals will speak for themselves. My whole family and even one of my friends goes there. NOW I LOVE THE DENTIST!
