This is the best experience Ive ever had in dealing with a vet. I love this place so much that I drive 40 minutes out of my way to take my dogs there. The 2 main vets are a very sweet married couple who cares more about your beloved pet and your happiness than making an extra buck. Also, they are the least expensive boarding Ive found in the area and they pay close and special attention to your animal to ensure they arent just stuck in a cage until you get back. I recently had to put one of my dogs to sleep and not only were the vets excellent in providing care for her, but they also gave my feelings extra attention as well. The doctor wasnt able to return my call at the office, so he called me from his cell phone on his way to pick up dry cleaning before going home. A week or so after my dog passed away, I received a sympathy card in the mail signed by everyone from the office. I really cant say enough good things about this vet. I can only hope that anyone looking for a vet gives them I try, even if you have to drive a distance. I sincerely doubt you will be disappointed

We are very fortunate to have Drs. Dixon, Johnson, and Brookstone just down the street! They lovingly cared for our first and second Scotties, and now are caring for Baxter & Grace, Scotties we adopted at age 7. "Cooper" (Dr. Brookstone) was the one to diagnose our late Penny with cancer and he and Dr. Dixon took loving, calming care of her until she passed to the RB. Andy, our first Scottie, died in my husbands arms last summer, and although we called Dr. Dixon at home and he met us at the hospital before hours, it was too late. Baxter and Grace love the personnel, and it is nice to have vets that treat our Scotties as if they were their own. We actually found them a little over 5 years ago, driving to the house we had just purchased when we were fortunate enough to get back to Shelby County after many years absence. You could not ask for anyone better than this group of vets. Wish they took human patients, too!

My 14 year old dog Cal suffered sudden rear end paralysis recently. We were ready to put him down, but Dr Callaway recommended treatment with laser therapy and medication, and lo and behold he is walking again! She dropped everything on her schedule when I first brought him in (including two scheduled surgeries), and has continued to fit him into her busy schedule whenever needed. At Forest Hill, the bottom line is the welfare of your pet, not a profit margin. I highly recommend Dr Callaway and the staff at Forest Hill Animal Hospital.

Ive been taking my pug here since he was 5 weeks old. Born in 2006. The vets are extremely personable and they really explain whats going on. The fees are reasonable, I suppose. Dont have anything to compare to because this is the only vet Ive used. I boarded my pug while I was on vacation. He came home kinda ill, bit thats normal I see from investigating on internet. He was ok in a couple of days though. I really like taking my pug there and will continue taking him there. There has never been a bad experience there.

I have taken my dobI (BERNS) to the clinic on several occasions and have been pleased with treatment and boarding. Fees have been the usual, start at one price and end at another just like taking a kid to the store. Instead of the kid wanting more, I usually ask for more service and the price does increase, lol. I gladly recommend this clinic. Headed that way today for 3 days of boarding.

Do not send your beloved pets to these crooks! They will misdiagnose your pet. Overcharge for everything and frankly are higher than others. Beware!
