The doctors: 5 stars. Office staff: O stars and an angry face. We had two dogs and two cats. One of the dogs is a 160 lb Great Dane that has Addisons Disease and requires daily pills and monthly (very costly) injections. Over the years we have spent THOUSANDS of dollars here. THE DOCTORS ARE AMAZING however; some of the office staff are downright heartless. Six months ago I would have never thought this, until I had to put down my cat of 12 years. Again, the doctors are compassionate and wonderful and have nothing to do with my negative experience. I had just spent $2000 on xrays and testing for my sick cat and used Care Credit. A couple days later we took the Great Dane for his $ 250 shot and for some reason Care Credit was denied. It was a Friday. Since the staff knows us they said it was ok and we could pay later. I agreed to contact credit card company on Monday. Well, over the weekend my beloved cat became progressively worse and I had to schedule to have him euthanized on Monday. I obviously had not called to address the Care Credit situations. MY CAT OF TWELVE YEARS OLD WAS DYING. When we arrived and were taken back to a room, I had to speak with two different staff members demanding payment as I sat there next to my cat and spending the last few moments with him. I planned to have him cremated and would be returning to pick his ashes up (the "special urn" was why they were demanding payment now).I would obviously be returning to make the $400 payment after resolving care credit issue but that was not acceptable. I was hysterical that these staff members would discuss payment with me during this most difficult time. It would be one thing if I was not a regular client but we are there monthly and have spent thousands of dollars. All the staff knows my animals by name. I was highly disappointed and heart broken by their attitude and actions. I wasnt just going to not pay the bill but saying goodbye to my first pet was way more important. I think at one point I yelled a little through my tears and tossed a credit card at them and told them to take my money. Finally, after dealing with this longer than I should have, the office manager agreed to let me pay the next day after figuring out care credit. The bill was paid for immediately over the phone. So thanks to the staff at Arnold Animal Hospital, my last precious moments of my beloved Jake are him laying on a slab of metal waiting to die and me arguing with the staff over payment. If I could find doctors as good as the ones here I would never return with my animals due to this HORRIBLE experience. I have never been so hurt. My experience meant nothing to them. My cat meant nothing to them except money. It completely disgusts me. We have been there several more times for our other animals and five months later I have never received an apology. Moral of the Story: this place should hire office staff as good as their doctors. They are what is keeping my family and pets coming back. The DOCTORS do not deserve a bad review....I give them 5 Stars. I have had experiences with almost all of them and they are truly compassionate, caring people. And I thank them for that. Unfortunately, some of their other staff are not and in the long run, that might cost them some business.

We have been bringing our furry family members to Arnold Animal Hospital for approximately 30 years. There have been 2 experiences that have caused us to look for another Vet to take care of our furry family. The first was about 10 years ago, we had to have our Bichon Frise put down. The vet gave him a shot, and BOOM our little guy fell flat on the table dead. The Vet said: "Well Ill leave you so you can say your goodbyes." No one came to check on us to see how we were. So after 45 minutes we just walked out of the room, no one acknowledged us that we were leaving. I did not know what to do, as this was the first pet Ive had put down. Horrible experience. The second was last summer/fall. Our little guy developed a skin rash. The vet wanted to scrape the rash to test. The Tech held our little guy, while the Vet scraped the rash area. They did NOT muzzle our pup, nor did they numb the area. The Vet scraped the area with a knife looking object, and needless to say our little guy nipped the Tech. Our pup did break the skin of the Tech. It was not bad. Still Arnold Animal Hospital contacted Arnold Animal Control. Our little guy had to be quarantined. It was heart breaking. quarantined for rabies. When we get all our furry familys shots at Arnold Animal Hospital. Arnold Animal Hospital has record or all our dogs and cats shots. This is why I will not take anymore of our furry family to Arnold Animal Hospital.

Dr. Kohne and the rest of the staff at Arnold Animal Hospital are WONDERFUL!! Dr. Kohne is patient and kind, and he thoroughly explains things in terms I can easily understand. I had to have my beloved little dog put to sleep yesterday after a kidney failure diagnosis three months ago. I was completely devastated and was embarrassed because I was crying hysterically, but Dr. Kohne, Robin, and all the staff treated us with dignity and respect about how much we loved her and how painful this was. They made her "Rainbow Bridge" journey peaceful and comforting for her and for us. I will be forever grateful for their patience, guidance and reassurance throughout this difficult time. I would recommend them to anyone seeking top quality care with an expert, professional and compassionate experience for their pet.

I am now taking my second cat in for treatment here and the staff is very friendly, professional and efficient. I came here twelve years ago with my first cat and i wouldnt use any other Vet. I definitely trust the employees with my precious little one........wonderful place!!!!!! UPDATE: My eighteen year old cat was diagnosed with diabetes and after making an initial comeback from extreme weight loss and sickness, he took a turn for the worse. This Vet and all the employees here did EVERYTHING they could to treat and save him, but unfortunately, at 18 years of age it was just his time. I am very pleased with Dr Harlin and every employee that helped make his final departure as painless an experience as it could be. They are VERY comforting and compassionate.

We have used this vet for about 4 years with our dogs. They are very accommodating and always pleasant. We moved about 45 mins away 2 years ago and still continue to drive to Arnold for the staff (also the pricing is better than where we live). Recently we had a lot of medical problems with our senior rescued greyhound. Dr. Mayabb called me all the time to check up and see if any meds needed adjusted or if there was anything she could do. We were able to give a pretty happy extra 6 months to my doggie with Dr. Mayabb’s wonderful care. And when the time came that we had to make the decision to put my dog down Dr. Mayabb and the staff at Arnold animal hospital were amazing! They helped to make the best out of a saddening situation. We cant thank them enough!
