There hasnt been a review posted on here for Optical 2000 in a few years, so let me do it now. I absolutely LOVE the staff at Optical 2000 Richland. Very professional, very helpful, and they really do care about their patients. They make suggestions to the best eye care for their patients. i say suggestions because no doctor can make a patient do what they say to do. This office does not have a radio playing over the intercom for all to hear, nor do they have a TV. I asked them why they dont play a radio at least, because it is extremely quiet in there. I was told that they do not want to offend any patient by playing a type of music that the patient either didnt like or got offended to. That sounds to me like they actually care about their patients. I respect that. This office does get their patients going - not much sitting around time for sure, and that is great for us working mothers and fathers. I highly recommend Optical 2000 Richland Office to anyone. Do they make mistakes? Sure they do.... why? BECAUSE THEY ARE HUMAN! They havent made any mistakes with me or my daughter as of yet, and weve been going their forever!! Go see Dr. Yang and the ladies. You will not regret it.

My 5 year old daughter had an eye exam at Optical 2000 in Richland last week that resulted in the purchase of eyeglasses. They were not the friendliest on the day of the eye exam but when we picked up her glasses today it was even worse. When I asked for a eyeglass case for her to store her glasses in, she rudely said "yeah for $2 you can!" I have never filled out one of these reviews but I was so unhappy at how rude the lady was today that I felt it was necessary. It is unfortunate that they are the closest facility that is in our Insurance network. We had to pass at least 3 eye doctors to get to this one. For my husbands eye exam that is due soon, looks like we will either drive further or use one of those other 3 that we passed.

My wife and both my kids went there last week for an exam. The Dr. wrote prescriptions for my wife and one of my sons. Wen the glasses came back a few days later both of the prescriptions were wrong. Both were wrong in the left eye. So now we have to go and get new exams done at another office so we can have the correct glasses. And to top it off they billed the wrong insurance somehow. We called around and have found out that this has been an ongoing problem with this office. So if you need glasses do not go here or you will be spending a lot of money on a prescription that you dont need.

I worked as an optician for 10 years. Doctors and opticians make errors and fix them. My prescription by Dr. Panky was incorrect. The frame was very poor quality and the lens was not cut correctly. I ordered top of the line and received glasses that are useless to me. Made many trips back to the office and finally realized they were not competent to get it right. They advertise they will make it right. ... only if you pay more and hope they will. Very dissatisfied. Couldnt find the no star button.

1/22/2015 Awesome staff & very friendly we have never had any problems with my families glasses or contacts we have been using this office for years and never once have a any problems my kids love the staff and they are always so sweet with them and understanding when my daughter is freaking out. Thanks optical 2000 in Richland for always being so great with my family

The doctors are always helpful and polite, and the staff is always friendly. Im usually in and out in about 30 minutes. They are always good about confirming appointments and calling when contacts are ready for pickup. I definitely recommend Optical 2000.
