I recently visited Heitz Optical in Alton, IL and was so pleased with the staff there! They went to great lengths to help my son, who was apprehensive about wearing contacts, but they helped him through that and today he is so happy and has, for the first time at 19, been able to buy regular sunglasses! I watch him everyday go to work, college, and play in his band with such gratefulness that it brings tears to my eyes. Thank you Drew and the rest of the staff at your office! Bless you, Peggy P.

Ordered glasses in October, I have called every month about my glasses and am told that they cannot be found but will be reordered. After four months of this I still have no glasses, no one wants to do anything about it, and now they tell me that the frames I picked out I cannot get because they are now discontinued with no promise that I can even pick out a new frame. Worst experience ever. I can get glasses at lenscrafters in one hour but they cant get glasses in four months!!

This is my go to place. The staff is always great and accommodating. Dr. Schieter is wonderful and always explains what hes doing and why a test is important. Love this place. I wear glasses and contacts and they have no problem working with my insurance.
