have been a loyal customer of Overland Animal Clinic for over 10 years. As some of you may know a new vet has purchased and or taken over the practice. Last week my puppy had an allergic reaction to his annual shots. When i called the vet the following day to explain the symptoms the vet suggested i give my puppy a dosage of benedryl. The problem is the new vet never bothered to look at my puppy chart and my dog ended up oding ( he prescribed 10x the suggested amount for the size of my dog) and has been in the hospital for the last two days. The Secretary at the clinic would not allow me to talk to the vet nor would take my dog in on an emergency visit Wednesday because they were booked. The old vet would have NEVER OF DONE THAT!! So beware if this is your vet. For the first time i will be forced to use a vet in a neighboring city who actually cares. Community animal hospital on Lindbergh dropped everything to take care of my dying puppy. Thank god they had the compassion and good sense to see my dog was dying and needed immediate attention.

Love the friendly knowledgeable staff here!! Lets not forget the fair prices, no pressure from Vets recommending things you dont need! Very easy to work with and willing to work with you!! I found my dog Kita to have itchy smelly ears that was causing her pain one day and called Vet same day and he was able to see her same day and wishing 10mins of me calling!! Yes, this office is nothing fancy, no they dont have updated furniture or equipment, BUT they simply care about your animal and thats what is important! I recommend everyone to them!!
