Let me start by saying this doctor never tested my blood work before diagnosing me with clinical depression and admitted me into their hospital. Turns out, I have an auto immune endocrine disease, hypothyroidism and diabetes. I was put on 4 different medications for depression. Dr Kulkarni talked mostly about himself and insists on a once a month appointment in order to get refills. I continued to struggle through this, until I had complete blood work done to find out my stability and symptoms stemmed from my endocrine system. Every month was a battle to get prescriptions approved. Its a scam. I had been going every month for what? So I became reliant on the medications and my primary care doctor and endocronologist weened me off of all the medications. Dr. Kulkarni constantly reschedules and has 1-2 month waiting periods. In the meantime- will refuse to refill your much needed medications. I cant imagine someone with a more serious mental illness has to go through with these doctors!! They are all so unprofessional and to me, its as if they want everyone to stay in their privately owned hospital and drain you with copays every 30 days. Do NOT go here. Find a medical professional with ethics and that will ensure you have your medication or help you to eliminate the need for it. In fact, insist you have a thorough physical and blood work done before accepting their diagnosis. I gave them 1 star only because its all I can click to review. Awful!!

Do not waste your time or money on this place. I have called them for refills which were never taken care of, I can never get them to answer their phone.....E.V.E.R. The manger of this particular address is RUDE AND TALKS TO PATIENTS LIKE THEY ARE STUPID. I have seen 3 to 4 people show up for an appointment, including myself, only to be told that it was the wrong day and showed them our appointment card which WAS FOR THAT DAY so apparently THEY GOT IT WRONG. The first time I went in for an appointment my practitioner didnt even bother to show up for my appointment AND the office didnt bother to tell me either. I waited 2 hours and finally got up and said something only to be scolded because I couldnt wait any longer. Some of us work. I have tried to call the office OVER AND OVER and no one EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I just spent the last half hour calling over and over and over only to get hung up on EVERY SINGLE TIME. There is no level of care or empathy here so dont bother with this place. I would hate to see what happens if there really is an emergency. BTW, if you have a complaint about this place contact Jennifer at Psych Care on New Ballas. She oversees the St. Peters office. See how far you get with her. She hung up on me.

I have been to this practice many times over the past decade. I really wish that my insurance company would allow me to go elsewhere. The staff is a group of nice ladies, whom are clearly overwhelmed by the doctors "methods". I can personally say that I KNOW the doctor priority is the Centerpoint Hospital and not the general practice. I have known, worked for, and been related to several psychiatrist. I believe this office should be closed. I begin to question the validity of some of their medical degrees, but that subject is sensitive due to possible racial profiling, which is unacceptable. Ask yourself this.... How much Suboxone can you prescribe a recovering heroin addict (not me, but might as well have been) before you create a whole new addiction??? Psych Care knows for sure. I cant ask my dead clients.... All the recovering survivors I know, say "No idea. I was only on it a couple days". They came from a Non profit organization. Go figure. Ill update the review, if things change. Just remember.... Its not the staffs fault. I feel for them. And be sure to clear your entire day for your appointment. Unless youre at Centerpointe, with insurance, and something to medicate. Dont take my word. Try for your self. Jon Coffin

Awful place. My husband constantly runs out of his medications and they refuse to refill unless you see the doctor but when he gets there he is told to reschedule since there is a two plus hour wait. He has been trying for three weeks to get his medication which he needs because what good are antidepressants and other psych meds when you are off them for a few weeks because you cant get a refill? We had to contact our primary care doctor to try to get his medications and they are having to call the office for us because apparently when the actual patient requests a refill they say they will do it and never do. Do NOT waste your time or money.

Customer service is awful here. Dr Arain is professional, but unfortunately the office she is in is not. Its dirty and the people at the front desk are not nice. The phone calls are horrific- there is no voicemail option to leave your info and even if there was, I doubt theyd get back to you. Wait times for your appointment is 45 minutes minimum. Ive waited for 2 hours once for a 9am appointment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY here. Its not worth it.

This Place has the most screwed up billing department I have ever seen. I called and set up a payment plan with Doug and paid as promised every 4 weeks. Then without contacting me he sent us to collections, I have never heard of anything like that. Then he started making up lies to cover the fact he failed at his job, who sends someone on a payment plan paying as promised to collections?

The absolute worst Psych practice Ive ever heard of or been to. The Dr. Arem or Arin whatever that I saw obviously doesnt understand English as he wanted to treat me for everything but what I went to see him for. If you have a 4:00 pm appointment, I can guarantee youll wait at least an hour past that. Dont waste your time or money

This is a joke of a medical practice. Consistently overbooks patients. Cancels appointments last minute. Asks for payments to be made up front. Steer clear unless you want to sit in a waiting room an hour at a time with 15 other pissy people.

Always have to wait at least 30 min. past out appt. time. Sometime over an hour. They never answer their phones. Dr. Whaba is not very helpful and we only go their to gey sons medications. Such a waste of my time.

The doctors are fine. They listen well, but be prepared to wait for about an hour or more to finally be called back.
