Worst experience ever, I took my dog in on an emergency because he had been throwing up. First off they took my dog back and separated us, while he was back there I could hear him yelp and cry. The vet came out for about 3 min and asked a few questions after that she said she was going to put together a treatment plan, next the front desk clerk came in with a list of "tests" the vet wanted to do totaling nearly a thousand dollars(1,000), mind you this did NOT include treatment, this was just tests. The vet never came back to explain to talk to me again I only delt with the front desk clerk. At this point I still have yet to see my dog. I had already paid the $75.00 consult fee upfront and they were telling me I needed to pay another $1,000.00. In an attempt to try and find out what tests were priority the staff was rude talking down to me and acting as if I didnt care about my dogs well being. After Making the decision to go with blood work and x-rays I was told it was still nearly $700.00. When I asked about starting with the x-rays I was told it would take roughly an hour and a half that I would need to leave and then come, back when they called, at first this didnt worry me EXCEPT they wanted to keep my dog. I still had not seen the vet again, all of this was handled through the front desk clerk who seemed to treat me and my mother as if we were the problem, when he handed me the pricing I noticed another $55.00 charge. When I asked what it was for I was told "housing" keep in mind it was only going to be 1.5 hours, but I was not able to see my dog prior nor could I stay with him. When I asked the clerk to clarify the charges he simply said uh-huh and gave me a dirty look. I would have paid anything to to make sure my fur baby was taken care of but between the Disregard of the Vets attention to my dog, and the rudeness from the staff I refused to be treated and have my dog held hostage until I paid them more money, Since the Vet did not seem to imply that anything was life threatening I requested they return my dog, I will be following up with his usual Veterinarian in the morning, I did end up leaving without any information on what they did to my dog while he was in the back. No vitals no nothing. I would NOT recommend this animal hospital to anyone, and if you do go there keep in mind you will be separated from your pet and made to feel guilty, they do not have your animals best interest in mind, it is strictly about Thier monatary intrest. I am giving them 1 star simply because you can not go any lower and I feel other animal owners deserve the right to know what your getting yourself into.

This was our first visit to this vet. We brought in our cockatoo for a beak trim (she has a crooked beak so it takes a special trim). They did a great job and were very gentle with my bird. Unlike some trips to other vets, she was not traumatized after the experience. I note on many reviews people complain because they have two cats that run in the office -- Honey and Trouble. These cats are wonderful and I do not understand the complaints from others. This is not the first vets office I have been in with cat mascots so get over it. Finally, I note a lot of reviews complain about that the facility is filthy. Nothing could be further from the truth.

My poor dog came down with an awful ear infection and possible spider bite in his ear and I brought him to St Rose at about 7pm on a Saturday. The staff and vet techs were phenomenal and so friendly. They got us in quickly and explained what was going on with my dog and took such great care of him. I was so worried as his left ear was particularly bad, and it was just remarkable how kind everyone was. If we ever have another emergency when we cant get to a vet, Ill be brining him here to receive care. Thank you so much!

Our dog took a turn for the worst so we brought him into Saint Rose Animal Urgent Care at 1045 pm. The staff was excellent explaining our options and being candid about the treatment. In the end, unfortunately, we had to put our dog down. The nurse stood by my wife as she said good by and as the doctor caringly put in the injections to put our dog to sleep. A very difficult time made a little easier by the caring staff.

They have some of the most unique hours in town as far as vets go and it helps a lot. I work late so I need a vet thats open late and being open until 2am is awesome. I was able to drop my pup off around 10pm for a teeth cleaning while I went and ran some errands after work. Very cool! The staff was very friendly and did a great job.

My friends cat had an infected uterus. We took her to the vet at midnight on a Friday. The staff was amazing, the doctor was fantastic. He was able to save the cat even though he didnt originally believe shed pull through. And I can honestly say the cat that hates EVERYONE actually loves this vet.

These people were very rude on the phone. I needed help with my dog and I thought they can offer some transportation service because my dog was not breathing. I dont have a car or away of transportation. They just hanged up the phone on me.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My fur baby had gotten spayed and her wound started to open a few days later so I rushed her in at 1am and she was fixed up and ready to go only a couple hours later.
