I was new to Kingman and being new I wasnt aware of the parvo epidemic here. My neighbors had two puppies both sick shortly after I arrived. She told me they just had the flu but that was not the case. I took my 11 year old miniature dachshund to get a parvo booster, which being from Massachusetts she hadnt had since she was a puppy, as soon as I could get an appt. She got sick within a week. I called Kingman and they agreed to see her free of charge as I am on a limited income. When it became apparent that she had parvo, they shoved a bunch of papers in my face, told me to pawn whatever I had of value. I was distraught and did what I could. I signed papers agreeing to treatment but before I could get home, five minutes away, she was gone. Before they would release her to me, they insisted I sign more papers. They charged me for the parvo which I had not agreed to and for IVs that she couldnt have gotten before she passed. I have been harassed for the past six months with a bill of over $84 which has now ballooned to $150. I wrote them and received no response. They are heartless, money hunger group of people. When they should be more concerned about the animal and owner, they are more interested in how they will get their money. I would not go there again if they were the only vet in Kingman.

Called every Vet in Lake Havasu, Bull Head and Ft Mohave We couldnt get our dog in to our regular Vet it was Friday 3/31/17 until 4/07/17 Only one Vet in Lake Havasu had a walk in after 5PM but just the office visit was $250.00 so one of the Vets office said call Kingman Animal Hospital We live in Topock so 60+ miles but our furbaby was in pain, called and was told they have a walk in clinic there after 3PM We were very happy with the care he received the Vet checked the dog and then gave a list with prices of tests that could be done prices seemed fine but had planned to go to our Vet (Advanced in Ft Mohave) had an appointment for Friday the 7th found out that appointment was cancelled some kind of mix up I guess because I didnt cancel. That was the soonest they would see our dog even tho he was in pain and having trouble walking very disappointed Sad that this area doesnt have a walk in clinic for animals. Our dog is better but still is hurting at times may have to get the testing done. The Vet gave him 3 kinds of Meds. May go back there if we decide to get the testing done dont want our dog in pain!!!

We had taken my kitty in a while back for a discoloration of the eye. They were super kind and helpful, but a little on the pricey side. 2 days ago we took her to the vet to get her spayed and get her shots taken care of. Everything went well. They gave us 3 painkillers (even though recovery lasts 2 weeks) and told us to not let her jump whatsoever; making that sound like a life or death thing. One f the technicians, who I believe was named Ashley, told us to not let her lick her stitches because if she did her stitching could come undone, her organs could spill out, and she would eat them because she didnt understand. For an everyday person, that wouldnt be a problem, but for my mom and I (who both have extreme anxiety) this has caused an abundance amount of stress. We cant sleep well, we worry whenever she does something, and we are just miserable. Other than that, the service was great. Tip for you guys; Next time, dont tell a pet parent their pet could lick open the stitches and eat their own organs, okay? Some people cant physically and mentally handle that.

I got a puppy from a supposed no kill shelter in Kingman... part of the adoption fee was to get him fixed... No problem, got it done... almost a year later, I shave his hairy butt down... and notice they had MISSED one of his testicles... Now Im no vet, but I would think when youre only starting with TWO... it shouldnt be that hard to keep track... I took him back... they had the nerve to try to CHARGE me for the painkillers... the ones Id paid for previously and that he wouldnt have needed if they had done it right the first time... oh, but it gets BETTER!!! I go to pick up my dog... they bring out a dog that is NOTHING like mine... "Thats not my dog..." "Are you sure?" ... Just in case what...? Im too drunk /stoned / mentally incompetent to recognize the dog Ive owned for a year and a half... SERIOUSLY??? I wish Id been a little quicker and walked out with the dog they tried to give me in the first place... I could have had a GREAT time when they called trying to find the dog they wanted to pawn off on me...

Took my cat there they did nothing for the problem on her ear, took xrays charged an additional 160.00. Never told me that if the bandage on her ear came off she would bleed out. The xrays were for a the heart. After 21/2 days the bandage on her ear came off Snowflake my beautiful white cat died. I would not recommend them to anyone. This is the second time I took an animal to them. They rip you off with a charge of xrays, when you are most upset and not thinking clearly. Most dissatisfied, with there practices. The first time I took a dog there for a sprained leg. They took xrays then and told me there was nothing wrong with the dog. In the last 3 years the dog is doing fine with another vet. I just recently had my dog put to rest at Kingman animal hospital and I can truly say the only way I was really able to comprehend everything was because of their friendly staff that truly care about animals. I wouldnt suggest any other then Kingman Animal Hospital to Kingman residents. I know when I get another dog the only place Ill be going for my Veterinary needs is Kingman Animal Hospital.

Late tonight I had a pet emergency. I called the emergency line and within 10 minutes was able to bring in my dog and have her seen. The staff and Dr. Angone took great care of her. They were very friendly and helped so much. Great staff, clean office, and there when you need help. Highly recommended.
