Below you can see my original review from about a month ago. We had a very sick dog and in reality I think that we almost lost her. Fast forward to today and I wanted to bring you up on her progress and how pleased I am with Lone Peak and the wonderful Doctors and Staff. Nikki is doing wonderful and I believe that it was due to the excellent care and treatment that she received while being hospitalized. The Doctors were very knowledgeable and most important, they were very compassionate to us. I would recommend you to this clinic, I only wish that I could post a photo of Nikki, she is healthy and back to herself now. Thank you Doctors and Staff. ***************************************************************************************************************** I just cant say in words how wonderful these people and the clinic are. We have our very sick little girl at the clinic as I am writing this. We have used an 24 hour emergency clinic down by my office and the feeling of that place and this is as different as Night to Day. The Doctors and the staff really care and are compassionate with my Wife and I. The are so sweet with Nikki our dog, and it is making a difficult experience much easier to deal with. My Wife and I are empty nesters and our two dogs have become like our children. The Doctor sat down on the floor with us and talked about our dog, he was very kind and very informative. From all the experiences I have had at another clinic, I am so pleased at the care and the demeanor of this place. Our little dog is still in trouble but I know she is being given the best care I could ask for. Thank you Lone Peak and the wonderful staff. Alan & Julie Seyboldt

Want expensive meds, go here. If you want to get your dogs meds from a cheaper outside source, dont go here, they wont approve it or they will demand that you bring your pet in every time the pet needs a refill. We took our dog here, they looked her over and then I asked them why her back legs were trembling, " Oh, shes just a nervous dog. " Turns out my dog had a nerve problem in her hip. Did they x-ray her? No. Dr Luft is great but the rest of the staff is awful, especially the rotund receptionist who is as unfriendly as they come.

My dog, Evander, needed urgent care after an altercation with our other dog. I called 5 different clinics, and Lone Peak was the only clinic to tell me to bring him in, even though they were booked. Their care of both my dog, and our family was outstanding! From Mike at the front desk, to V, our tech, to Dr. Adair. They were all kind, understanding, and went above and beyond. They worked through their lunch to do surgery on my dog, and then stayed after closing. From here on out I will not go anywhere else. Thank you!!!

Wonderful staff. Our family dog was hit by a car and we rushed her into Lone Peak. The staff was wonderful with our family and our little dog. The vet confirmed that she had severe head injuries which she died quickly from, but they did all they could to make her comfortable. Her death was traumatic for our family, but the staff at Lone Peak really helped us through it. I will forever appreciate the kindness and love the staff extended to us and our sweet dog.

Took our Boston there for the first time, unfortunately she didnt need a dental, she had cancer. After just over a week, we had to make the hardest decision a dog parent has to make and asked the vet to put her to sleep. This entire office, vet to receptionist, were kind, thoughtful and absolutely sensitive to our grief and needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I found their charges to be very reasonable. Taking our other dogs there for regular care.

My dog had a seizure in the middle of the night and we werent sure what it was or what was wrong with him. My brother called the hotline number, looking for help or looking for a 24 hour clinic. The lady was extremely rude and unhelpful. She referred us to an animal hospital way far away from us and wouldnt refer us to a closer location. She even hung up on us. If youre going to have a hotline people can call, you can at least be helpful.

Rip off on medication ! Doctor recommended antibiotic for our new puppy to treat the bacteria in his upper respiratory track. When the receptionist lady told me I have to pay $80 for 28 / 250 mg pills I was surprised and asked her why is it so expensive she told me that their prices comparable with others. Later on I called a couple other vet clinics and they quoted me $50 for the exact same 28 / 250 mg pills. Complete rip off :-(

Today I had to put my golden retriever down, he was diagnosed with cancer and was in a lot of pain. All the staff were incredibly sweet and caring. They were very helpful on this delicate situation and gave me all the time I needed to be with my dog, not to mention very loving to him as well. I appreciate them very much and would recommend them to any pet owners. Theyve been great for every checkup as well!

Amazing veterinary clinic. We have been going to Lone Peak for over 15 years, so I guess that, in itself, speaks for how much we respect them. All of the veterinarians are knowledgeable and caring and I appreciate that they talk to each other to discuss patient issues rather than having an environment of egos. We usually see Dr. Kyle and we know we will get an honest opinion and thorough exam.

Our dogs have received outstanding care from the veterinarians and staff at Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital for the past five years - everything from routine checkups to major surgeries. The professionalism and kindness they showed us when we had to euthanize our terminally ill senior dog made an unbearable situation bearable. We strongly recommend them to anyone in need of veterinary services.

Dr Monica Anderson is the bomb. She got my dog in to bandage his tail on a walk in even though she was busy. She explains things well and shes patient with questions. Pricing seems really reasonable too and weve been surprised at the affordability on more than one occasion.

Staff is very good, but wait times are extended. Even if you make an appointment, you still wait 15-20 minutes, sometimes more. If they could improve their wait time and make sure if you make an appointment you get in on time, this place would be great.

Best vet I have found. They really take care of their facility and show love and care to all my pets. We had to put down our wonderful kitty yesterday from kidney failure and they made it as comfortable as possible for our kitty and us. Thank you.
