If there was an option for zero stars that is what my rating would be. I scheduled a general check up since I moved to Utah from Washington to make sure that all regional type shots were up to date (for ex. heart worm is a bigger problem in Utah than it is in Washington). All they did was look at her records and do a pat down of her, and charged us $40 to tell us what we already knew...I then had to go in the next business day (2 days later) to get more information and they informed me that my dog should take the heart worm test...THAT WAS THE WHOLE REASON FOR THE OTHER APPOINTMENT THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR! My puppy then injured her dew claw and we tried to take her into the emergency service that this facility says they have (false advertisement, they direct you to a different facility that is AWEFUL!). Completely incompetent staff. When I then showed up to the regular vet for my dogs injury they just said I would have to schedule another appointment...didnt bother to ask about her symptoms or what was going on. She could have been bleeding out and they wouldnt have known and required a scheduled appointment for a different day. I will never use this vet ever again. I would rather drive 30-40mins for vet technicians that understand customer support and know what they are doing.

This morning Dr. Fawett made time to see one of our four legged friends Angie. I have trust in him to get Angie feeling better. Dr. Fawett is a number doctor here in Layton. I have been going to Layton veterinary for over 30 years. Thanks Doctor Fawett for being there this morning when I needed you. The staff ladies are also great to work with. It has been a week today Angie passed away. My heart aches and poor Zoey Bear our other 4 legged friend. She still dont want to go outside nor does she want to be lone. I took Zoey today to get hair cut and she was so nervous, I felt so bad to leave her. Pet Corral has always been great to both our dogs. I hope it will get easier over time. I do appreciate Dr Fawett for caring for our little Angie.

Two stars because they handled my pup with care and Im sure this will be blamed on the nurse. I brought my pup in for an exam and microchipping and left with an unnecessary round of vaccines and some stupid sales pitch on monthly heartworm preventive medication. I didnt realize that the breeder had already vaccinated my pup the week prior, but I brought in the health record. It clearly said Duramune Max5 on it, which unknown to me is the round of vaccines! The vet ignored this fact and charged me $50 for another round. Dont be a sucker for over vaccination for the profit of these people, do your research. I lost any trust in this place and will not be coming back.

We have been going here for 10+ years. We have brought 6 dogs here (Boxer, Pomeranian, Pug, 2 Min Pins, and an Aussie). We came from another local vet. Pricing here is very reasonable and we have never felt pressured into any unnecessary testing or procedures. All my dogs have been spayed or neutered and chipped here. No problems. I came in with what I thought was a problem but by the time we got there was not and the doctor didnt even charge us for the visit. The staff is very friendly and I recommend both Dr. Maxfield and Dr. Fawcett. Very satisfied pet parents!!

The personal service that is given to each and every pet is outstanding. Our American Bulldog gets excited to go here. She loves the Doctors and the techs as if all of them are family, they are friends. The service to the pet owners is always respectful and courteous. So much so, that all are on a first name basis. At Layton Clinic, you feel like family. Very importantly, unlike all too many other vetinarry offices that are overwhelmed by Pet odors, this clinic is always clean, and smells clean, without a heavy antiseptic fog.Very Important!

We loved Layton Veterinary Hospital and took our dog there for 2 years before we moved out of state. They treated us so well and were really conscientious of our budget. They seemed very fairly priced for everything and we never saw any real exorbitant costs for any of the treatments we received. The girls at the front were always so kind to us, and were extremely knowledgeable whenever we had questions. Highly recommend this place and wish we could have taken them with us when we moved!

The Veterinarian is friendly - but ordered a bunch of tests that I did not need and ultimately were more expensive than necessary for my feline who chews the insides of her arms - Shes not allergic to anything - doesnt have worms - is an indoor cat - and after I researched it on my own I found that it is most likely Psychogenic Alopecia. Otherwise, each time I have gone they have been fast and friendly - thus the high rating.

I highly recommend Dr. Fawcett to anyone! He is so friendly and has such a calming manner. I love that when I bring my dog to the vet for his yearly check ups, he isnt scared when he sees Dr Fawcett and his staff. And as a pet parent Dr. Fawcett and the staff make me feel comfortable as well. Also, this Veterinarian Hospital is very very clean.

My dog sustained a serious injury and I needed a vet immediately, I was referred by a friend and I was seen promptly. The vet bill was relatively cheap as opposed to other vets Ive seen before. The staff is friendly, professional and very understanding as a worried "fur mama" the staff were very kind as to answer all of my annoying questions.

Service was ok. They are pricey and wanted to do all sorts of "tests" that cost over $100 each. When stuff was explained to me, I didnt get it in "Lamans terms", so I understood half of what was going on. I felt like we werent getting anywhere so we switched vets.

They were fast and very nice, we did a walk in because we were moving but needed to get our cat chipped and they did so wonderful it was very nice to have them take care of us. And our cat dallas enjoyed the attention all of the staff gave him while we were there

We have brought all three of our dogs to layton veterinary hospital for years. They have a great staff, treat our dogs with love and kindness. We feel their pricing is very reasonable. They are a great place to take your pet and layton.

Our dog broke her leg and they wouldnt let us bring her in because their vet was getting ready to go home even though they still had an hour left in their business hours. I wont take my animals back there again.
