Ive never had a bad experience with the staff here and Ive been a client with all my animals since they opened their doors in late 2005. Im disappointed to see so many 1 star reviews just because the hospital isnt accepting anymore new clients - hmmmm HELLO, its called being privately owned and who wants to be a workaholic?!. The vet is very personable and compassionate, even after breaking his foot, he still cried with me when we lost our dog suddenly this summer. I realize evereybody has bad days, but I also have a hard time believing some of these reviewers werent nasty on the phone. 1. They dont have to have your business. 2. If youre rude on the phone, youre not going to receive ass kissing, because if youre bad on the phone, youre probably worse in person. 3. This can be a high stress environment, Im grateful the staff can still laugh and joke around despite what they have to deal with on a daily basis. They have to see clients on the worst day of the patients life. I couldnt do what they do and I tried. 4. As for the prices, I believe theyre very fair. Shop round, especially to the corporate owned hospitals. But they still need to be able to keep the lights on and the place staffed. 5. If you havent worked at a job that has face to face customer service, than your review is worth a single grain of salt. 6. As for the other veterinarian hes staffed at different times - well there must be a reason they are no longer there. 7. If you had a problem with the way you were treated, I know if you had told the owner, he wouldve handled it. Even writing a letter with your contact information. Dr Roy not only values his clients, but has built many friendships. If you felt wronged or mistreated, he would have addressed it or possibly explained (if it didnt compromise privacy for another client). I am forever grateful for their kindness, caring and understanding. Dr Roys compassion is unmatched by any other veterinarian.

Absolutely wonderful! The receptionist was very kind and patient over the phone with answering my questions and giving directions (warning: google maps has it all wrong!). The facility is beautiful, clean and airy. I felt very comfortable there and my dog seemed to be doing just fine as well. The prices were average. I was actually surprised since the facility seems so high-dollar I really expected them to charge more than other clinics. Perhaps one of the most important things is that there were no unnecessary requests for a bunch of extra procedures and tests. The business was genuine and I was never under any pressure to get more than what my dog needed. If its informative to anyone, I brought my 10-year-old female heeler in to get Proin medication, something that she has taken in the past to stop incontinence. She also had a gash in her foot from getting it caught in something but I have taken care of that myself with cleaning and bandaging it, etc. I was in, they ran a UA to determine that she had no bacterial problems or crystals and I went home with her medication. Happy me, happy dog.

I moved to Arizona in 2009 and River Ridge had taken such excellent care with my dog throughout the years. Jennifer and Jeff were so good with him he was never scared to go there. Along with the doctors Dr. Mausling and Dr. Reeves. A week ago my dog got attacked by another dog while I was out of town. My parents took my dog to an veterinary Emergency Hospital since it was a Sunday. They sent my dog home and said he had minor injuries. Well he didnt and when I got home we rushed him to River Ridge and they started working on him. Dr. Mausling, Jennfier and Jeff were so amazing and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, my dog did not make it, but I was grateful to be able to say goodbye and that he was with people who he/we knew and trusted. They let us be with him the whole time which meant the world to me. I have never seen a veterinary clinic with so much compassion and it really helped us get through a real tough time. Thank you Dr. Mausling, Jennifer and Jeff for taking such great care of my very special dog, Scruffy.

First google review ever. Made an appointment for saturday at 230. At 335 i walked out because the Vet still hadnt seen us yet. Once youre summoned into one of the three little rooms they have back there, i could hear chatter amongst the staff, laughing, and generally enjoying a not so busy saturday afternoon. which is cool, i understand, im not someone who likes to rush things, so after 1 full hour if waiting, and no one communicating anything to us, I left our tiny cell, and asked when my Pupparino (St Bernard) Benny would would finally be seen by the vet. I was informed, very dryly, that the vet would be with us soon, and they were dealing "emergencies." There was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much laughter coming out of the back of the place for me to even remotely believe that. Call me out on this review! feel free to ask questions,. Im sure they give good care, but they dont care about your business, or experience there, PS. Enjoy cleaning up the ocean of drool in your waiting room.

My cat had a lump on his hind leg that turned out to be a bite from another animal. It needed to be drained and cleaned. I did some peer reviews on other sites via google and this one came highly rated. I agree and recommend this animal hospital for your pet. They were able to do a 1 day notice appointment. Dr. Roy was cordial and has quick hands because my cat snapped at him because he was in pain. Dr. Roy avoided his teeth but kept treating him with care and concern. My cat is hard to treat because does not tolerate pain at all so kudos to the staff. Its been a day after treatment with my cat at home acting like his old self and healing without complications. I would go here for all my pet needs. The front staff and vet techs were fast and professional who knew what they were doing. Facility was large and well kept. One of the best veterinary hospitals in the Buckeye area, I feel lucky to have it.

Just a single call and had a receptionist name Jeff blow me off and I was incredibly rude, saying he doesnt have any time to answer a question, instead of answering yes or no to the question of whether or not they are Level 2 certified. Just said he wont accept me as a client, and only said that after I asked about their certifications. Not a good way to build a business and make a good impression on the community. Youre saving animal lives, not making burgers waiting for your lunch break.... act like it.

Amazing vet, and Ive been to many. Dr. Roy is knowledgeable and the animals love him. All of the staff is prompt and caring. Just because an establishment is full and cannot take new patients, doesnt mean they deserve a low review. It simply means they are a great vet and very busy. Being a private owner gives him the right. Im thankful I was a patient before they sadly had to start saying no. Glad their are many other options for those needing help in our area!
