This is the BEST vet Ive ever had the pleasure to work with. Left Hand puts your pets health and happiness before anything else. Both the vets and the techs are incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable and patient. Left Hand is affordable too! Left Hand caught that my previous vet had missed a round of important shots. I am so glad I switched to Left Hand. I might have never figured out that my dog was behind on her vaccines. My dog used to have a fear of anyone in a white coat. When I first brought her in for a checkup, the vet let my dog slowly get to know her. We all sat on the floor and let my dog slowly get accustomed to being handled by the vet and the techs. The vet never grabbed at my dog or forced her into position. At the end of our first meeting, my dog was happy and kissing everyone even though she had just gotten a shot! Left Hand has always been there when my dog had an emergency. When my dog was showing signs of being sick, Left Hand immediately took her in and watched over her for a few hours. I am so grateful to have a vet that takes my concerns seriously. After taking care of my dog, they called up the next morning to ask how she was progressing. I would recommend this vet to anyone who wants wholesome and compassionate care for their furry family members.

We heard they do non anaesthesia teeth cleaning and was happy with the results. Our dog developed a skin problem, so it was logical to take her to LHAH for this as well - a big mistake. We went through a series of (some very obvious) mis-diagnosis which were generally treated with antibiotics for about a month with no improvement. Follow up visits and tests were done but they just could not think outside the box. Finally went back to Dr. Biller (Valley North) and he immediately suspected an auto-immune disease. Dr. McCormick confirmed Billers suspicions. We took the dog to Dr. Strauss, a dermatologist, and he diagnosed her right away with an auto immune disease and the treatment started working within a day. The latter doctors all dismissed LHAHs concern on liver issues as unremarkable based on the blood analysis LHAH did. LHAH also seemed to have a preference for follow up via email and digital pictures. If I have to work that way, I might as well get a vet in India.

The staff at LHAH is wonderful. Everyone is kind and friendly and they truly seem to care about the welfare of your pet. All three vets have helped me with my dog, Tyler, over the last few years and they have been very helpful and patient with all my questions. They have gotten us in on short notice and I really appreciate the follow calls they do to check on Ty after our visits. I also appreciate the way they treat my dog when we are there. Ive had vets in the past the seemed rushed or dismissive of my concerns or the dog, but not at LHAH. They are always kind to Ty and my nervous pup is always happy to see them. Thanks LHAH for helping take such good care of my pup!

We brought our goldendoodle, Cosmo, to this vet and were immediately impressed by the wonderful service and personalized attention we received. They were kind and welcoming to us from the moment we entered. Both the vet and vet tech we saw were very personable and helpful. Not only did the vet immediately help us with the ear infections we brought our dog in for, but also talked about what we could do and what was causing those ear infections. Our dog has had ear infections before and no one seemed concerned by it, but she wanted to solve the problem from its root cause, which we truly appreciate. We will definitely be back!

Best vets ever! Left Hand Animal Hospital offers everything from dentistry to acupuncture. The vets give themselves plenty of time to talk to you and understand the situation while they check the dog over and make their evaluations. I have worked with Nancy Bureau for more than 15 years and never been dissatisfied. I even moved when she moved -- the drive from Boulder to Niwot is worth the peace of mind. Their staff is also awesome. Ive worked with Emma and Jen and they always make me feel valued and helped. I recommend this practice to anyone, though Id like to keep that a secret because its nice that its a small practice!

We have been seeing Dr. Katie and Nancy now for a little over a year. They are amazing to say the least. At each appointment they have been wonderful with my senior dogs. They answer all of my questions and I never feel rushed. The support staff is wonderful and we look forward to going to the vet. I have used both Dr Bureau and Dr Thomas for years. They are excellent vets who provide intuitive, caring service. They always give you options to consider reflecting both Western and Alternative medical approaches. Their knowledge is current and they constantly study and stay on top of the newest medical advancements for animals. Their staff is equally outstanding. I would not take my dog and cats to any other vet.

I have taken both my cats here for treatment of bite injuries (other cats) and both times I was very grateful to have these fine doctors nearby. They are both extremely knowledgeable and sensitive to animals needs. The visits were easy to schedule and my pets got excellent care. I would not go anywhere else.
