My experience is always great, though my dogs probably wont agree. Dr. Hines is so warm and caring, I dont even know the words to describe her! She really works with the customer to LISTEN. This is a skill few vets (and fewer doctors possess). No one wants to have to go to the vet but Dr. Hines makes it alright by not imposing her will on us but by working with pet parents for a solution. Several years ago, we had a mini Schnauzer, Buddy, who was a predator. He was a rescue who was found wandering in AZ. He would attack any dog he saw and hed bite people who came to the house. Dr. Hines worked with me for two years to try to control Buddys fear aggression. NOTHING worked. Ultimately, we had to put him down at age 3. The poor soul was in fine health, but I was so afraid hed attack the children next door or kill another dog. After he attacked a 5 month old puppy we simply had to put him down. Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital and Dr. Hines was us through it. This was the last resort, after a long time of trying to treat him both medically and via training. I know he was with this for so long because she was willing to listen and try anything. Thanks everyone at Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital. We have two other rescues now and one of them is doctor aggressive. Shes good with him, too. Finally, the other dog is normal.

recently had my beautiful pointer put down here. he had diabetes and instead of doing bloodwork first and then xrays they had them both done simultaneously to makemoney and save time because lets face it behind all the bullshit thats all they care about just like hospitals for actual human beings, so its not that suprising.so it turned out the xrays were pointless since his blood work showed he had high sugar level so there was 200 down the drain for a pointless xray work when Im pretty sure he knew but thats beside the point. when I was told it would be 1500 to keep him there for 2 days to try to get better I broke down as I told himI didnt have the full amount. once he could see his potential sale was gone u can tell the doctor didnt seem to really care anymore or provide solutions as far as if there were any payment plans or if maybe even a day instead of 2. once he seen that I didnt have that kind of money you could tell he could care less. but hey what can you expect though

What a fantabulous place to take your pet! I took my cat, Felix, to Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital because he was complaining of some joint pain and stiffness. He had been walking around funny and not jumping up as well as he used to. When I got to Pebble Maryland, Felix was checked out by Dr. Mucci. Poor Felix is getting old and arthritic. He was prescribed some medication for the pain. Dr. Mucci took the time to explain to me exactly how to administer the medicine, I was really worried that Id be hurting Felix grabbing him the way I was supposed to. Dr. Mucci assured me I was not, and talked to me about how best to do it to make it easiest on both of us. Dr. Mucci also talked with me about the food I was giving Felix, as diet can have a great impact on an aging feline. Thank you Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital and Dr. Mucci for taking such good care of us, and not charging me an arm and a leg to do so!

Called and was told to go in to have my puppy checked. I go in was told they are closing at 5pm so 5mins they would be closed all i needed was the vet to see if the puppys back legs were off as if the puppy was not walking right and needed to be checked further. The women at the front desk said they will most likely charge $150 fee to be seen since its going to keep the whole staff which makes no sense. I stated i just needed to get the vet to take a quick look and ask if they were going to charge that amount to look, she went off in a huff heard her explain everything to the vet while nodding her head yes then turn to me and said it would be $150 just to look at the dog. There was more im just summarizing. Ive spent thousands at this vet never seen this women before she was so rude and because of the way i was treated ill find a new vet!

Dr. HINES WAS GREAT. Ill start it like that. She was so sweet with my sick kitty. And myself. But the front desk staff is AWFUL. by far the worst customer service I have ever had. I have switched vets because of my experience. Its a shame they cant get things figured out up there because they have great doctors. But PRICE IS TOO MUCH!!!!!!!! I told them to NOT do xrays.... I left to go get the first time client coupon from my house which was 30 min away because they told me if I didnt have it (even though its on their website and I told them I just forgot the paper but I could show them on my phone) NOPE I had to go get it. Spent an hour of driving and tons of gas. When I got back they DID THE XRAYS ANYWAY!!!!!! WTF??? who does that????? I was beyond ticked off with this establishment! Dont go here. ... uh ever. Youll regret it.

The first time I took my dog there, she was 9 weeks old and very itchy. They checked her out and, after several hundred dollars, could not find anything. They suggested it might be a food allergy. For the next few months her itching got worse and we changed her food and deprived her of treats. Finally, we took her to an allergy specialist, where she was diagnosed with common mange. She was miserable for months because of a misdiagnosis from them. When I went back to Pebble and told the doctor what happened, she shrugged it off and no apology was offered. I made the mistake of taking my dog back there when she had diarrhea. Surprise--they couldnt find anything wrong (over $300 this time). She still has diarrhea weeks later. I now need to find a reliable vet to correctly diagnose her. I would not go here again.

Outrageous prices, inexperienced vets that take your cat in the back and bring you out a bogus 780$ estimate for the cat to live. I almost put the cat down due to his evaluation. 20 mins later I went to Sunshine Vet and paid only 52$ to help this cat. Sunshine vet is very experienced and helps with needy cats and shelters.
This is the second and last time I will ever go to Maryland Pebble hospital or recommend them.
When I brought my first cat in with a leaky eye they brought him in the back and charged me $200 to run tests on him and prescribed medicine. The medicine made him sick and throw up and also gave him and ear infection. I brought him back in
and did more blood work. They said he was healthy. $300 later he still has a leaky eye. Thanks!

Can you say show me the money. That is what Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital is saying. My cat had a swollen paw and was limping. The cat is an indoor cat wasnt sure if he got a bite or got his paw stuck and broke it. They came back and said they couldnt see a bite mark and wanted to do x-rays. Of course it would cost me 272.00 dollars. So 272.00 dollars later I got: “A I dont know”, three pain pills and keep an eye on your cat for the next 3 days. My cat wasnt meowing in pain, so my question is, the vet couldnt feel my cats paw/leg for a brake? That’s right, that would of taking some intelligence and it wouldn’t have cost any money. I don’t have a problem paying for something but I thought the x-ray was based on a professional opinion. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.
