My dog was a regular patient at Park Animal Hospital (Dr. K. Johnson); we went in for a regular checkup one day, and they put my dog on the scale in the front lobby, we took her weight, and according to their scale my dog was about 10lbs under weight from her last visit. Normally my dog will weigh around 110 lbs. (for her breed, which would be correct). Well this time the scale displayed she was down to 100 lbs and Dr. Jonson was very concerned (AND SO WAS I). They asked if anything has changed and I told them no. So, they started several test on her to figure the problem. Every test came back GREAT health. Then the staff kept on questioning her care at my home. I told them she is treated like a PRINCESS. So, we had another appointment for more test with Dr. Johnson, I asked if we could weigh her again (because it was recommended to us to double up on her food and extra treats; to fatten my dog; so I did that). The tecs at the front desk placed my dog on the scale and the scale showed she only weighed 49 lbs. I SAID THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT DOG ONLY WEIGHS 49 lbs. So, they reset the scale and my dog weighted 112 lbs (HER NORMAL WEIGHT). I was so mad at Park Animal Hospital; they made me feel like I was the worst pet owner, they questioned her care at my home, I paid for test that were not necessary. I notice a signed posted behind their desk telling the staff to always reset the scale because they were having problems. I cried for many days and nights thinking my baby is going to die.... When it was their scale malfunctioning the whole time. I asked Dr. Johnson for a partial credit on my account, for the hundreds of dollars I spent for nothing that was wrong with my dog and their response to me was; there was nothing they could do for me.... I TOLD THEM; I WOULD NEVER BE BACK....

Took my Rotty Ms Josey bad sick need to put her down they would not work with me all about the money they Don t care give me your money I tell them she has infection has not eaten in days week put her down no they say she looks good blood test X-rays meds money blood test isnt can you give her something she in pain she has not eaten in days she is shut down with tears in my eyes this old man ask for this help no they saying give her nothing.a nother day go s by now now she can t get up test come back o she has infection I know that here some pills I say its too late shut down dont take water how do I get pills in her I Say give iv no we cant do that this was Friday , Friday night had to work bad storm came cold high winds my beloved love of my life, laid out in storm burning up with fever real hot I came home at 5am had to carry my 120 lb love of my life in home she let go of her body fluids.I was crying so hard calling park o we cant put her down till 3 sorry o we can move your appointment time till noon. But my dog is dieing now she is suffering sorry nothing we can do so I call black MT vet o I so sorry bring her here now or we will come to you.at that time my love of my life starting shaking so I laid next to her on floor in her viel I held her tight told her that all dogs go to heaven and hang out in gods park till I get there. I love Ms Josey so much dam I still here you walking a round house but dont worry my love the un caring Dr s at park we be in hell with the money hungry un caring rest of people in Vegas who will find out in the end money is not worth spending the rest of your time in hell ,buy the way the secret to life is compassion. For others try it!;

About a month after getting my (first) bearded dragon, he started becoming lethargic (at my own fault) so we rushed him to Park as they were the only place who could take him that day (luckily were literally a mile down the street). The nurses at the desk were so friendly, and the doctor (i dont remember the name, just it was a male) was very thorough with his questions (in my opinion). I was honest with the doctor that Id been lacking on giving my beardie calcium, but I do mean to take proper care of him. They kept him for 3-4 days, and didnt do a full charge for "boarding", or even an office visit fee. Only for the medicine and boarding for 2 days ( so potential $120 bill was only $52) The staff loved my beardie, and 8 months later when we took our new dog to get checked out (we havent been there since the lizard visit), they remembered us and asked how my beardie was doing. Weve been using Spencer Springs for about 15 years, but its just too expensive and the new vets there arent as nice as Dr. Hicks was (Wed still use them if Dr. Hicks was the main vet), so we were scared about switching our animals to Park Animal, but so far weve had no problems with them! Ive heard they like to nickel and dime for everything, but weve still yet to run into that problem.

Today just wasnt a good day but I have to voice my opinion. Despite other negative reviews, I have to say that this animal hospital is the most compassionate one my mom and I had ever been to. We had taken one of our babies there to have her put down due to cancer, and the staff was courteous; giving us all the time needed to spend the last moments with her. Okay, the prices were a little steep but I could tell they care for people and their pets. They were considerate of the circumstances and were warm, loving and as I said, extremely compassionate. Their center too was inviting, calming and highly immaculate. Didnt have the scent of other animals or urine like some places do. I recommend them. I dont have a pic of the center, but I would like to share a pic of our baby girl they cared for.

This place will rip you off!!!... Whether or not the Vets are good they over charge a ridiculous amount. $500 for anesthesia just to take X-Ray. Give me a break! I got my dog neutered for $150 at another place and that included the whole procedure(anesthesia and all). They also want to charge $700 for dental cleaning. Most Vets dont charge more than $200. Ive had dogs for a long time been through all different issues and Ive never seen prices like these. If you want to be taken advantage of, I highly suggest this place. Otherwise, steer clear. There are plenty of other vets in the valley that do a great job for FAR less!!!

This place is great! My wife and I have been taking our Shih Tzu here for about 2 years now, ever since we moved to Henderson. The staff and the Vets are FANTASTIC! They take care of him like he is family and they truly care abouot how he is and his well being. We can also get him groomed after he is done with the Vet, and the groomers are awesome. He went to numerous other groomers before we found Park, and he would not be nice to them. When we come here, he actually pulls me to get to the groomers! I wish I would have known about this place sooner because we would have driven across town to come here. Highly Recommend!
