My dog hadnt ate in a day and a half and couldnt drink water without throwing up within 5 min of drinking it. I took him in to see Dr. Knighton. After examining my dog Dr. Knighton printed out an estimate for what treatment and further exams he recommended. He explained to me that I could pay for each thing individually trying what I wanted for my dog or I could pay a lower bundled price called the care plus option which would include everything for $434. I decided to do the care plus because it would have cost 800-1000 the other way. When I came to pick up my dog Dr. Knighton was conveniently no longer in the office for the day when the veterinarian staff gave me a bill of $899. I said no you need to call Dr. Knighton he said it would only be $434. She did and then said that I misunderstood the explanation from Dr. Knighton. Theres no way to misunderstand when I flat out ask him so individually Ill pay X amount but if I pay $434 for the care plus I get all of it and he said YES!!!! Dont go here they might do the same to you. Worse than a mechanic.

I had my first visit to VCA yesterday. Other than the very long long wait to have a Doctor see my injured dog It was a good visit. I was treated with kindness by the front desk person, the tech in the back and most of all the lovely young doctor. (I am sorry I did not get her name as the news about my precious Dusty was not good) Dusty had to go to be with Jesus on rainbow bridge and my heart was broken. However this lovely doctor explained the reason for this by completely explaining the Xrays to me and left no other decision which I was able to make halfway through her explanation. I did not want my Dusty to suffer pain. Please consider this hospital whenever you need help for your loving animals as they will be treated with love and kindness here. Rita Kaye

My daughter and I recently adopted a rescue puppy and we took him to VCA for a check up. Ive lived in the valley over 20 years now, and Ive always had pets, and Dr. Wallace is the most personable vet Ive ever encountered. He greeted our pet with such kindness that the skittish little guy felt so comfortable that he laid down on the floor and fell asleep while we talked. He was very informative and took the time to listen and answer our questions. I have to drive over 10 miles to get to this vet, but I have decided it is well worth the trip! The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I will definately recommend the animal hospital to everyone I know!

Once again I had to take one of my family members to VCA to be sent to heaven. This time it was my beautiful cat Toonces 21 years old who could not go any longer. How can I explain the care and kindness of this clinic. The front desk girls were so wonderful to me, they even had the kindness to get my bill ready early so I would not have to wait at the front after they put my friend to sleep. The beautiful lady doctor took so much time to explain the process and made it so comfortable for Toonces with blanket softness and kindness. God Bless them each and every day.

Dr Wallace and his staff are amazing! We had a very bad experience with our puppy at a previous vet and came to VCA for a second opinion. Dr. Wallace took the time to do a thorough examination and answer all questions we had. He explained the process of the tests needed and what they would tell us. Pricing is certainly within the norm and the staff make sure you fully understand each procedure (and cost) before performing it. We will certainly keep coming here!

I have been coming here for years and the staff and Drs are great I just resently had to say goodbye to a family member and the staff couldnt have been better and for Dr Knighton he is the best he takes his time explaining evetything i wouldnt see anyone else ....saying goodbye is never easy but they made it easier..will be sreing u soon we have anew baby Pixie she needs shots.. They just care about the money. My dog is gettin his eye worse every single day. The only money that come to house is by me aND my dad(both dishwashersh) we cant afford all the medicine so I look for another option. Now they dont want to approve the prescription until another blood test which is around $130... If anything happens will remain in your conscience... A

Dr Wallace is a great vet, I took my dog in with pink eye and some sort of allergy she seem to get from the dog park, he ran all neccesary tests to make sure that was all. One week later she was back in the peak of health. The office staff were friendly and call back after two days to check on her, It makes me feel really good to have a vet like Dr Wallace.

Dr wallace is a vet whom I can tell just loves his job and the fur babies who he cares for. He has a fun bed side manner even though my lil Peanut is a ball of bundled up fear he manages to get the job done.

The best pet hospital in the area. Everyone from the staff to the doctor are friendly. The prices are low too...I greatly recommend everyone to bring their pets here.
