If I could give 0 stars I would. We used to take all our cats and dogs here for years but over time I have realized these vets dont care to help your animal live long and healthy. They help them to the bare minimum and prepare to cash in on their death. My furr baby had a horrible ear infection that caused hearing damage and the medicine prescribed here made it worst. As if thats not infuriating enough, he was given a spray for a rash that actually later proved could be fatal and gained weight as he aged which was never monitored or helped by these vets. After changing to a new vet who is dedicated to animals health, my furr baby now has his hearing back in full, the infection and rash are gone and he has a very special diet dedicated to his age and weight. If you love your animals as your own family, do not take them here!! They are just waiting for your poor animals to die. I caution everyone I meet about this place!!! Be extremely careful. It also has one of the foulest smells ever and Im shocked it hasnt been shut down due to sanitary reasons. Just a sad and awful place! We go to Southwest Vetrinary hospital and its incredible! They do full blood work on your pets and want them to have the longest and healthiest life imaginable.

I have been taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Grinsell at Truckee Meadows for over 20 years, and could not be more satisfied with the services provided. There is no attempt to sell unnecessary services, and the services provided are always explained. I also think that, as a long-time professional in private practice in Reno, they should be a little more flexible and not so unreasonable about delays in payment by their good customers. Sometimes due to travel or other factors we do not pay relatively small bills compared to our total payments over time, and in my practice I would give good clients time to get current. Nevertheless, I will keep bringing my pets only to Truckee Meadows because it is the best in town in my opinion.

We have been going to Truckee Meadows vet for 6 years and love them my dogs and cats get very good attention from them we had a serious set of tumor removals and are doing fine now. My dog is Wendy and she has responded well to her operations. They realize our pets are family.

over priced and not at all nice to customers that have been loyal for over 20 years in fact after 5 dogs and over $20,000 in vet bills they turned me down untilI I pay my bill of $62.00 I found a new vet!!!

Never have I been to a more sketchy place for my animal. Rude staff and Arkane policies obviously show you that this business only cares about money and the animal last.
