I love Dr. Alvarez in his team. Ive been there for 2 visits. The first one I was scheduled for a cleaning- the dental hygentist was a sweetheart. They identified I needed fillings done- Dr. Alvarez said he could get the fillings done right away instead of having me come back and make a new appointment! I have never heard of a dentist office do that!! I always hear people complain how they have to come back and make separate appointments for each filling. Today, I came back for my 2nd cleaning this year- I should mention that due to my schedule I had to move the appointment a couple of times but they had no problem accommodating me. Anyhow, I had a new dental hygienist, Viviana- whom was even nicer and super gentle considering I have super sensitive gums and a couple of teeth. She kept checking if I was in pain. Which of course Dr. Alvarez sent me with a sample to take care of the sensitivity. Definitely check this clinic out, they dont make you waste your time.

The people at Bloomfield Dental Designs are great! They all make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Mariana at the front desk was very attentive, friendly and very professional. There was no wait time. The hygienist, Liz was SUPER nice and very knowledgable, she even gave me a much needed floss tutorial. Dr Alvarez was also very knowledgable and told me what needed to be done with my wisdom tooth. I scheduled my procedure and I am actually looking forward to it(never thought I would say that about the dentist) overall theyre all great, and super friendly. I would definitely recommend all my friends and family. KEEP IT UP GUYS!!

I have been to several dentists throughout the years, because I take oral health seriously. This office provided outstanding service. Some dentists, when they do a cleaning, it is uncomfortable. However, the experience here at this office was seriously outstanding. Also, when it comes to customer service, that is VERY important. And so, you get both excellent customer service, as well as the actual dental experience. I also observed state of the art equipment. I even watched a little Netflix after my cleaning. Outstanding. I am glad that I found them. Thank you Emblem insurance and to Dr. Alvarez and his staff. Well done.

Awesome first time experience. Office was very clean and modern. Receptionist was very helpful in processing the paperwork. The dental Hygienist made me feel very comfortable and explained everything thoroughly which is great because I am not a huge fan of the dentist. Very gentle but thorough cleaning. Dr. Alvarez was great, explained everything and carefully checked each tooth after the cleaning to make sure there were no problems. Would highly recommend Bloomfield Dental Designs

Dr. Alvarez and his staff are very friendly and professional. I met them a few months ago when I went to drop off my girlfriend for her appointment. They were so nice that I end up making an appointment for myself that day… I had such a good experience that I decided to make another appointment to have all my wisdom teeth removed (they were bothering me for years). It was my best decision in a very long time… I had no pain and I feel great now… I wish I had met him before!!

By far, the best experience Ive had visiting a Dentists office. The staff was extremely professional, the facilities were immaculate and Dr. Alvarez made me feel like a valued customer. From my experience with other Dentists offices, Ive felt that the staff rushed through procedures like routine cleanings. The staff at Dental Designs were very thorough and Dr. Alvarez was incredibly patient with me while addressing my questions/concerns. I highly recommend this facility!

Highly, highly recommend Liz. She is so through but gentle when cleaning. Sadly, I think for the past 24 years that Ive had cleanings I never had as good a cleaning. Its alright because Liz gave my pearly whites the full service as well as recommendations on up keep and all the neccessary tools to do so. Dr. Boris Alvarez was knowledgeable, kind, and prompt with responses. Highly recommend anyone to come here. Hope you all get as great of service as I did.

Simply amazing. Dr. Alvarez and his staff were so kind, accommodating, and attentive. Further, the office was modern, clean, and I was seen almost immediately. I had not been to the dentist in a long time and was worried about the difficulty of the appointment. However, they provided the office on Netflix, very gentle yet thorough exam, and even a signal to give if any pain. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.

I absolutely love this office. I think the most important aspect is how friendly everyone is. Ive never had a single unpleasant encounter. Its clean and professional. Dr. Alvarez is incredibly kind and knowledgable. Making appointments is easy. Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. Ive never had a problem finding parking. I feel lucky to have found such a great dentist close to home.

Great service, very friendly staff and personable Doctor! Ive never had a dentist appointment that started at the actual appointment time but for the 2 scheduled appointments Ive already had Im in the chair at my appointment time and watching Netflix on the in-room tv they have setup. And in the next couple mins the Doctor is ready to begin. Recommending to all of my family and friends in the area.

Dr Alvarez is such a wonderful and caring dentist. He also earned his FAGD (Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry) which is not easy to get. Less than 5% of dentists earn this title because of the rigorous education required. His staff is also super friendly and the office is very modern. They took care of my teeth and took away my fear of going to the dentist!

I found Dr. Alvarez via Google search because Ive been in agonizing pain from a cavity. The search is over. Dr. Alvarez treated me very well and was gentle with performing a much needed root canal. I am happy to say I will changing my primary dentist of over 14 years and making Dr. Alvarez my number one dentist. Thanks for seeing me on such short notice!!!!

Staff was awesome in every sense of the word. Loved the attention to detail which I was shown, also extremely appreciated that they took their time to make my visit an effective one even though my case required them to stay past their normal hours. A plus for me is that in the 6 years while living in NJ, first dentist which found that did it all.

Very nice office and staff! I didnt wait long to see the dentist. The biggest plus for me is that they didnt try to have me get procedures done that arent really needed...i.e. getting wisdom teeth removed that arent bothering me. My last dentist bugged me about that. None of that here. Im definitely going back.
