On august 5th, 2011 I waited 45 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time before the doctor finally came in (i actually found her chatting with a nurse in the hallway when I finally stepped out of the freezing exam room where Id been waiting). My appointment was at 7:30am. I respectfully showed up at 7:15am to complete all the paperwork and be on time for my appointment. Little did I know... After finally gracing me with her presence, the doctor seemed careless and aloof. I was grateful for the good news ("its just a mole"), but disgusted by the treatment. It took her a fraction of a second to look at the mole, a few more seconds to slap me with "I will leave you with some sunscreen samples" - and she was out... When I was checking out, I had to pay $25 copay... Of course, I wasnt happy paying for such service at all and it probably showed. The receptionist pointed out: "yeah, its $25 copay (instead of the usual $15 with the kind of insurance i have) because we are SPECIALISTS... many people dont realize that"... REALLLY?!?!

They seem to be more concerned with staying on their tight schedule (one patient every 15 minutes) than with the patients best interests. I scheduled a consult and was turned away and told to reschedule because I hadnt filled out the new patient paperwork before the appointment. Whomever scheduled my appointment for me did NOT tell me that I need to bring in pre-filled out forms, nor did they tell me where to even get these forms! Forget it Ill find someone else. No wonder they have such a short waiting period. Their inability to fit in in an emergency also just shows how inflexible and unconcerned they are.

Looked up Bridgewater office on line, called and made appointment. Arrived early and was told my appointment was for the Morristown office. They refused to see me. Apparently the only number listed is Morristown and if you dont specify an office they assume you are going to Morristown. Bad practice when you have 4 offices and so is not willing to fit me in after I drove 20 minutes to get here.

You could show up an hour and a half after your scheduled appt time and you would still have to wait. Every time Im here I sit out in the waiting room for 1 1/2 hour plus before Im called back ridiculous. Have had it never coming back here again.

to the contrary we have found Affiliated Dermatology easier to get an appointment with than other dermatologists. A lot of availability without a long wait. We like them

Ive been a patient for many years and never ever had an issue with their customer service. I find them very polite and helpful.
