I am one of Dr. Scott Dorfners oldest patients as meaning I started seeing him when he first started his own practice not in age. I have a very rare disease most people who have this die before they are a year old and there is no cure and never will be all that can be done is treat the symptoms. It took 14 yrs to even to get the exact and correct diagnosis. On this horrific journy Dr. Scott Dorfner was right there by my side the whole way LISTENING to me as I tell him my symptoms and and seeing my health DECLINE. Dealing with the HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of doctors from all over the Delaware Vally that I saw and to have them in the end tell me nothing is wrong was disheartening. The biggest thing that Dr. Dorfner did was BELIEVE me when I told him I was very sick and figuring out in the very beginning that my symptoms were connected some how and maybe its that rare gentic disease he was taught in medical school. I believe,no I know if I had any other PCP I would not be here. Dr.Dorfner is fast when you see him but extremly thourogh this is a very rare trait in a PCP. Most just dont care and what most people dont realize there is a shortage of PCPs because most become specialists. So to even have a practice with this many doctors is far and few between plus a leading doctor that so great is very rare. Thats why you wait so long in the waiting room. I obviously would highly recommend Dr. Dorfner its a without question. As I have stated I have seen hundreds and hundreds of doctors and have become an expert on what a good doctor is and I know that Dr Dorfner is a great Doctor among the best in the country and coming from me thats saying alot. All these bad reviews Im reading here have to do with waiting to long to see the doctor let me set the record straight thats 100% normal and the fact that the practice is so busy means there are some tremendous doctors and staff there so enjoy your wait cause your getting the best care. I never do this. However this is a terrible dr. I had a wonderful dr but he passed away suddenly. I tried this office and it is clear they do not care about their patients. I waited 3 hours to see dorfner for 5 min if that. I recently had surgery and having complications he had no concern in finding out why just prescribed me water pills and potassium with no concern to recheck me or anything. I left there baffled and trying to find a good dr. One that cares about human lives and not dollar signs.

I was a patient years ago being treated gor high blood pressure. Dr dorfner just kept giving me water pills to take while my blood pressure continued to rise. I ended up having to be admitted to the hospital by another doctor i saw when my pressure went over the top after not getting any better with dorfners treatment. The staff was horrible also and the wait time was crazy! My brother went here also and ended up leaving cause he was disgusted by his treatment or lack of it by the doctor.

Ive been seeing doctor Dorfner for 20 years. He is a phenomenal doctor, and has one of the best bed side manners I have ever seen in a doctor. His staff of nurses, PAs, are very professional and friendly. I would recommend anyone to go there and visit him. Hes a family physician that is admired and loved by all the others in his profession.

I had to wait an hour for paper work they called me and said were ready at 12. Came later and they couldnt find it. I also felt like the NP didnt really talk to me and I felt rushed and uncomfortable. The front desk woman was super sweet and helpful. But odds are Im not coming back to this office.

I wouldnt even send an enemy of mine here. Crap service, ratty looking building. Show up to wait a half hour in a room with 5 sick people. Finally get called in, see the nurse, then get sent right back to wait for another 20 minutes. Thats just the start of the issues, but i ran out of time.

This is a very busy office, but I would highly recommend Dr. Christopher Salerno. Hes very thorough, knowledgeable, attentive and has helped me every visit. Ive gone to him both for illnesses and routine physicals. Great "bedside manners" and a credit to the office and medical profession.

Seems like they just rush you in and out since merging with Jefferson University Hospital. All I seem to do is wait, wait, wait. For appointments, for referrals, for follow-ups. I remember when it seemed like they cared. On the search for a new practice.

If I could rate less than 1 I would. Horrible patient care. I had an upper respiratory infection.. After an hour wait they sent a prescription to my pharmacy 13 hours later I still dont have it.
