I was a patient of 2+ years and I finally have had enough! I originally signed up as a patient in their office because I lived nearby and my employer did not offer any dental coverage. Once I learned about the office having the ability to provide you with their insurance, I was sold. Well… you get what you pay for. For less than $200 a year, you can expect x-rays, two cleanings and 20 % off other services which is pretty decent. However do expect to wait at least an hour in their waiting room (even though you show up on time), schedule your own cleanings 3 months in advance with no reminder card and wait on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes when calling. Mind you I am a patient person, mindful of dates so none of the above bothered me very much. I am bothered that when I did take advantage of the 20% off other services, for four (4) impacted wisdom teeth extractions it cost around a grand (and yes this is with their insurance). Plus you do not have the option of being put under only nitrous oxide is offered. I was awake and in a lot of pain for my procedure. I had injections and nitrous but I still cried through the procedure. I could not only feel everything but I could also see the entire procedure through the surgeons plastic face shield. After the procedure was completed the shots finally worked so I was numb for hours later. I was only given pain killers for 4 days. My prescription ran out on a Sunday at noon so I called the 24 hr emergency hotline. After waiting 5 painful hours Dr. Kasahara finally returned my call and said he would call my prescription into the pharmacist. Well… he not only waited 10 minutes before the pharmacy closed but he also only ordered me Ibuprofen. Last time I checked that was over the counter- thanks for nothing Doc! Thankfully I have found a new Dentist that listens to my needs and treats me like a patient that is in pain, not a junkie looking for a fix.

My 10 year daughter came home from school with a swollen face and complaints of pain in the tooth. I immediately called her dentist (a Pediatric Specialist) who saw her immediately. She had an infection in 2 teeth and needed antibiotics and removal immediately. Within one hour she was given gas and the maximum amount of novocaine. After 20 minutes of several attempts, the Pediatric Specialist turned to me and said, "sorry, I cant get the tooth. Lets try again NEXT WEEK!" YIKES! I called a few friends and was immediately given the name of Dr. Michael Hoffmaster of Eastern Dentistry in Burlington. I phoned the office at Eastern Dental and explained the situation, the office immediately made room for her under the special conditions. Dr. "Mikey" Hoffmaster got the first tooth out in 2 seconds and the second one took about 8 seconds. My daughter (who at this point was in a hyper state of anxiety) was so happy. Before she could cry, the job was done! He is a very skilled Dentist and super funny! I also want to give an excellent review to Cara and Ave (spelling?) who went ABOVE and BEYOND to comfort my daughter. They held her hand and spoke to her like a nurturing elementary school teacher. They made her experience fun and enjoyable (if that is even possible when it comes to extractions, LOL). Although the office isnt fancy with fish tanks or video games for kids, it does have what is important...an excellent TEAM! Great people performing dentistry ! I can not thank this office enough for helping my daughter in need and making her feel like a champion! Needless to say, we will be returning to EASTERN DENTAL to see this exceptional staff of experts! It says a lot about a group of people when a 10 year old who has a mouth stuffed with cotton from 2 teeth extractions says, "can we GO HERE from now on?"

I was there a few days ago, and I just have to say, THE OFFICE MANAGER IS VERY VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!! She was not professional at all and would talk to the workers with disrespect and even cursed at one of the workers IN FRONT OF PATIENTS WAITING IN THE WAITING ROOM. She cursed at a lower tone, but I heard everything and it was appalling. What really surprised me was that the other worker did not talk back in any way, but the manager just kept saying disrespectful things that sound diminishing. She seems very careless and does not work professionally as a manager. I do not understand why people actually come here after witnessing this. I came here once before for my daughters first appointment and once before the office manager was getting on one of the workers when she could have dealt with the issue a different way. I did not want to make a review because I thought if I came back she would be gone because of here acts, but I was wrong. It seems she gets on the workers for the smallest things and would blame them for things they either did not do or for her personal pleasure to be honest. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND coming to this office, especially if you have a younger child because as a parent and a patient, it was very uncomfortable to be there watching that happen. I will consider coming back to this office if the manager no longer works there because the other workers were very nice, but I will not go back. It looks like the workers are scared and forced to work under this manager lady.

I recently began going to Eastern Dental in Cinnaminson and I have had nothing but good experiences.The Dentist are all amazingly friendly and from the needles to the dental work are always painless. I have had bad experiences with other Dentist in the past but I will be with Eastern Dental for as long as I can...The front staff and the Dental Assistants are phenomenal. The whole staff is great! But I must call out two Staff who makes me feel at home with warm welcomes, smiles, and a genuine concern for me as a patient. Thear names are Ave and Karen from the Cinnaminson office.Thank you for taking my ball of nerves and making me feel comfortable. My son goes to this Dentist as well, and the experience is the best and this office is always clean and very professional. God Bless this office.

My family has been coming here for about 10 years. They are a little pricey if you dont have insurance. They do have a dental services plan that you can buy which helps a lot. Service is very fast, but make an appointment early if you want an evening or Saturday. I have thought that the doctor was a bit too fast at times. The people who clean the teeth get them CLEAN. Of course it hurts a little to get a good cleaning, and some people (my husband) have more sensitive gums.

I made the mistake of making an appointment here because it was "affordable". Save your money and go somewhere else. The xray tech was the only decent human being. The front desk people were rude, the dentist was dismissive - and only saw me for 1 min, and the woman who cleaned my teeth was the devil. Ive never been in so much pain from a routine cleaning. She didnt speak English very well and yelled at me for asking her to stop. Stay away.
