My family and I love edge brook animal hospital. We brought our yellow labrador there after being unhappy with many veterinary offices in the area, and we could not have been happier. He was a very big dog, and they were always so helpful in bringing him into and out of our car, even after surgery. He recently passed away, and the hospital could not have been more caring. Dr. Slade walked us all through every option for him and did everything he could to keep him alive, including calling us personally to ask our opinion. They stayed late until we were all home from work to say goodbye to him and gave us as much time as we needed. They were so loving and caring and Dr. Slade even mailed us a personal handwritten card afterwards. I cannot say enough about this hospital. They give every animal special and individual treatment, they never pushed excessive vaccinations or treatments on us, and were wonderful to deal with.

My family, and extended family, have been using Edgebrook for many years. We had a Labrador who couldnt be diagnosed by several vets in other facilities. The first time Dr. Otto saw him and listened, really listened, to the symptoms, he knew what it was and confirmed it with the proper testing. He helped us keep him alive for four years and when he was too ill for his expertise, he referred us to an expert. I found that commendable. Most doctors I know pretend to know it all. Anyway, our cat is now at Edgebrook and were confident that when he comes out, he will be as good as he can be thanks to Dr. Otto, Dr. Slade and their amazing staff and techs. We would never go anywhere else!

Ive been using their services for about a year now. My dogs have seen both Dr. Slade and Dr. Otto and both are professional and very caring. The facility is clean and the staff is always friendly. Appointments are quick and they always follow up on my pets when they are sick, many times the doctor will even call to see how they are doing. I also love the fact that they accept care credit which helps a lot when you have multiple pets. I will continue to utilize their services since Ive been more then happy with them.

I left NJ over a year ago and have since moved to Dallas. Weve been through 3 Vet offices here and I still havent found a place that is as good as Edgebrook. The Docs and staff are simply the best, friendly and helpful! Dr Slade and Dr Otto will take their time to thoroughly relate to you fur babies and explain everything (even for simple exams)... I wish I could package you all up and move you to my neighborhood! You guys really are the best and I wish you were still taking care of my two boxers.

What an absolutely amazing facility. I took my cat here after finding her the night before unable to walk and the staff was comforting, knowledgeable, and helpful. Even though I came in first thing in the morning without an appointment, they squeezed me and saw my cat right away. Doctor Slade is a great vet who took his time with me and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. Ive been taking Captain here since I found her, and plan to continue to do so. Thank you!

I am very satisfied with Edgebrooks veterinary services, they always clearly explain procedures and answer any and all questions. They only receive 4 stars because of their weak customer service. I was never given an update after my kittens spay surgery, I had to call the office myself. I also received a first visit coupon after my 5th visit...Im not sure what that was about. I think they should train their support staff a little better, but they treat my kitten well.

We took our dog in today for the first time for a check up and yearly shots. We were very happy with our visit. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Especially Jess and Dr Otto.Everything was explained to me and I was given all my options for flea and tick prevention as well as heartworm. We are getting a new puppy at the end of the month and we are so happy we have found a great place to take our dogs. Also their new puppy plan is a fantastic deal.

This place is only interested in nickel and diming concerned pet owners. They try to sell overpriced pet health insurance and then are dismissive to the customer and patient after declining the packages for insurance. They do have an affordable first time offer of 2 for 1 vaccines (possibly 3 for 1), so if your pet is healthy and is just due for shots this is the only time I would suggest going to this animal clinic.

Glad i can write a review because you need to know how awesome this vet is. Dr. Slade is the only vet i would ever bring my dog to see! He is a great guy and a professional at what he does. He loves animals and its truly an honor to give him my business. The cost of the visit is always fair, no matter if its a surgery or just a check up with vaccinations. 10/10

I took my dog here when i thought he was sick they gave him medicine and charged me a lot of money before telling me how much it would cost. Also the doctor was not very friendly. im used to someone who laughs and seems like a dog person. Im rating them average because my dog seems better now, but i did not like the prices or the doctors attitude.

My dogs dont mind as much going to the vet ,because of all the positive energy everything we visit Which is about ever other month for their glands to be expressed. Top notch care for my pet (German Shepherd dog), the doctors are skilled and forthcoming with information. Over 10+ years of going there (I travel 20+ miles to do so) I never once left feeling I didnt receive the highest level of medical care for my pet. I recommend HIGHLY!

I have been bringing my dogs here for the last 15+ years. The staff is always great and Dr. Slade and Dr. Otto have always been wonderful no matter what the situation. We are always seen right away, especially in an emergency. I would and do highly recommend them.

Terrible experience. I think they are overpriced. We went for an appointment and waited for 20 minutes. The vet was rude and nonchalant. We never went back. Found another animal hospital, with nicer staff and more realistic prices.

I brought my rabbit here to be spayed. Dr. Slade was wonderful. He was gentle and patient. He followed up and checked to see how she was after her surgery. I wouldnthe trust anyone else with her care.
