This office should be you office of last resort, if you have no other options and are suffering from a life-threatening malady, then, I would still suggest you look elsewhere. I had my first visit to this wonderful facility on 7/29/13. I had a growth on my left sideburn that I wanted checked out. After waiting for almost an hour beyond the appointment time I was finally see by Dr. margarita Lolis. Dr. Lolis spent literally less than 2 minutes with me within which time she said "looks like cancer, but not the bad kind". Very reassuring words from a doctor without any tests whatsoever. I was given a printed handout that said the office doesnt call if the results are negative. But, if I wanted to know the results I should call the office after 2 weeks. Not having heard anything, I did just that, I called the office after about 2-1/2 weeks. No one seemed to know anything. I was told to expect a call from doctor within a day or two. No call, nothing. I wrote a nasty email to the practice administrator over this past weekend and early Monday morning I got a call from her saying I had basal cell carcinoma. She suggested a consultation visit with Dr. Goldberg, the practice chief honcho. So I did. My appointment was for 2:50 pm. After threatening to walk out if I wasnt seen by 3:20, I was finally ushered into an examination room. Once there I was asked a series of questions, in this order: 1. Do you have any heart problems 2. Do you have a defibrillator 3. Do you have a pacemaker. Wouldnt it make sense that if someone says they dont have any heart problems they wouldnt have either a defibrillator or pacemaker? After waiting another 20 min, the esteemed Dr. Goldberg hadnt shown up, so I got up asked for a copy of my pathology report and told the assistant that I wouldnt allow Dr. Goldberg to touch my cat. So, if you enjoy long, long waiting room waits, and then long examination room waits, then this is the pace for you. I would give zero stars if that were allowable. DO NOT GO TO SKIN AND LASER CENTER, YOU WILL BE SORRY

I was restraining myself from writing a negative review but I was forced to by this providers actions. I visited Skin and Laser earlier last year in 2016 and had a appointment with Dr David Goldberg for multiple cyst in scalp. During my visit I never saw Dr Goldberg, it was his nurse who spoke to me, she was running back and forth with my questions to doctor but I never physically met Doctor in person. For my cyst she suggested that it can be taken out by surgery and she can give me some injections to try and see if it reduces its size. I said no for both but said i would like to know if my insurance covers the surgery. She said they will check with my insurance I will get a call to inform the same. I left the office. After few days I received a bill where they have charged me for lesion removal. I have called them multiple times andtold that this and they have billed me for services not rendered. I have always got the vague reponse. ANd now they have sent the bill to collection agency. To summarize.. I never physically met the doctor and they bill for services that are not rendered and do not care to rectify their mistake and one more thing, it is almost impossible to get the right person on call for your concerns.

Although Dr. Gold berg's office is state of the art office it is by no means state of the art care. If you are a patient looking for simple cosmetic procedures you might be fine, but we took our youn son with an extremely rare skin condition and Dr. Goldberg did not help him at all and charged us a small fortune ( would not assist with insurance ) for 3 treatments that did nothing. The office never called to follow- up with us. When we were there it took an average of 1.5 hours to be seen and then, he spent less than 10 minutes with us despite the delicate nature of our situation. We were so displeased that we never went back and found a very caring dermatologist that is more concerned with helping a child than collecting a large check for services that would have never helped even if our son were still receiving the painful laser treatments that he wrongly used on him. My son is getting a completely different laser that dr. Goldberg never even suggested ( because he doesnt have it and therefore cant charge for) He has no bedside manner, seems genuinely annoyed when questioned and is NOT up on all the treatments out there. I will tell everyone I know to stay away!

I came to the office with the skin rash that looked like a bull eye and was seen by David Goldberg. I told him that I might have a Lyme disease since two weeks prior I was camping and asked to start treatment right away. However he laughed at my concern and ordered to do blood work and asked a PA to do a biopsy. The results should be ready in two weeks. At the end of the same week I went to my physician since I was not comfortable about waiting any longer and was prescribed antibiotics right away. She was surprised to find out that another doctor could not diagnose such a textbook case. Since dermatology office has not contacted me, I called them three weeks after the initial appointment only to find out that biopsy showed that I was bitten by an insect and that I do have a Lime disease. If I would trust this so called “doctor” and wait for almost another three weeks to hear the result of such obvious case I would suffer much devastating results of untreated lime disease. I strongly advise to avoid such incompetent doctor who obviously doesn’t care a bit about his patients.

Poor quality practice. He cant even manage a simple excisional biopsy in a professional way. This should be “bread and butter” for a dermatologist, but he performed an horrible job for me. He never bothers to call his patient about the biopsy result. Even after my incision was wide open, he does not care to return even you phone call. I am very disappointed about this doctor and the least I can do is to share my experiences with others. Dont let him to cut your skin, because he doesnt know how to close it. And more importantly, he does not even care about his patient and his complications. I wish I was reading the review about him before getting to his office. Now I am stuck with a horrible scar for the rest of my life, after a very easy excisional benign biopsy ……..because of his incompetence.

Absolutely unprofessional way of handling patients. Called the doctor 4 times to ask for prescription medicine for 2 days straight and kept getting the answer "well consult the doctor and call you back", never recieved a call back. After giving them the insurance cards, their staff is not even competent enough to copy down the right numbers and when they didnt get paid by the insurance company they had the audacity to send me a bill instead of rectifying the situation. Spent half hr on the phone to relay this and to get them off my back and to contact the insurance company. Not just this, they had the audacity to charge me a no show fee for a follow up visit which I called to see if it was needed or not, which too had no call back. Absolutely ridiculous. WILL NEVER GO BACK @@@
