Stephen T. Deehan is an unprofessional and unethical guy (so called dentist). I went to his office last December’ 2016 for fill in the gap between my teeth. I asked him can you do this job and he said yea yea I can do that. His associate took the impressions on my teeth and he advises me someone from his office will contact me within a week for next step. And he charged my insurance (Aetna Dental) plus I paid (out of pocket) on that day $200 cash just for impression of the gap between the teeth. I waited more than month no acknowledgement from his office then, I called Deehan’s office in February’2017 and someone named Diane who stated Deehan is on vacation and I don’t know about your case. Then, I waited another week and called back again and someone named Jamie who stated I don’t know where your file is? As normal every human being will get upset since Deehan’s office have no clue about how far the next step in my procedures. I called back again in 1st week of March’2017 and spoke to the office manager Nancy who stated Deehan does not know how to do your filling and he is contacting other doctors to get some advice. At this point, I advise office manager that if he didn’t know the job why he took it on the first place? She does not have any answer and even blaming me for being rude. Now, I have real doubt about his dentistry credentials. How he got his dentistry credentials and is he a real board certify dentist? Today, his office sent me a mail (certified) and advising that we cannot continue treat your filling since your task is complex which is beyond my abilities as a dentist. This is real sad and pathetic; my question is if you do not know your job why you took it? Just to make money? Bottom line is, try to avoid this guy who is looking to make money by screwing other people.

A K, We are very sorry that you have given us this review. Our interpretation of this situation is greatly different from how it has been described in this review! Dr. Deehan is VERY much capable of handling your situation, we are however, not interested in handling patients who demand, berate, and treat our staff inappropriately. We were all very gracious with your entire family and very accommodating with all appointments, even staying late one day. And there was NO indications that Dr. Deehan could not handle your case!! We are disappointed that you have taken the time to send such a slanderous review and by the way, there is no "Nancy" in our office...!

Doctor Deehan did an excellent job on my teeth. He handles himself in a professional manner. The staff completes the pleasant experience. I highly recommend Doctor Stephen Deehan.
